Review 1：Location, fabulous terrace, easy auto rental, great breakfast, very clean. The village is wonderful as well. I was very happy to stay here and would love to return.

Review 2：Very generous room owner! He was very kind to pick us up at the Fair terminal. He took care of our staff, gave good advice, was nice to communicate with! Appartment is very cozy, clean and good-looking.

Review 5：Days seem to go by quicker in Marsaxlokk than elsewhere; our nine nights at Harbour Lodge went all too quickly. Already planning our next visit though! Also savouring in our minds the beautiful place, now back in short days of England.

Review 6：The hotel was as described; it was modern, clean, located close to the water's edge with a view from our balcony, but was positioned towards the end of a side street with the delightful name of St Piju. This meant that if was also quiet and peaceful - little traffic passing the door. The owners, Patrick and Mario were friendly and efficient. The previous occupants of our room had inadvertently pulled the lamp off the ceiling (in their defence, it did look like a retractable pendant light) Patrick repaired it promptly and provided us with a bed side one as well, which was much appreciated, as I like reading proper books last thing at night. The breakfast was simple but more than adequate, the local bread toasted is delicious. The location is perfect; close to the harbour front which is almost uninterrupted fish restaurants from one end of the street to the other. (There is a very useful pharmacy close by, in fact, with helpful, fluent English-speaking owners.) There was meat on the menu as well at Pisces Restaurant (also owned by Patrick and Mario) which I must try next time, as it looked very good.

Review 8：Our room was very comfortable, had everything needed, even a small fridge! The balcony was huge (we were on the 4th fl) and even though the hotel is situated approx 1.5 blocks from the water, our balcony overlooked the bay! It was quiet at night for sleeping. Lots of restaurants, all within just a minute or two walking distance! Their shuttle service was excellent, on time, even though we had a very very early morning flight! We would definitely stay here again!!!

Review 9：Would be good to have more directions to the b and b as our GPS did not seem to know the numerous one way systems! The information said there was parking on site but we were told we had to park out in the street. There was an underground car park at the hotel but presumably it was full. Although there was a lift the reception was on the first floor and might have been a problem for the more infirm.

Review 13：I picked this place because it was called the Harbour Lodge and showed a photo of a balcony overlooking the harbour. False advertising. It was 3 blocks back from the harbour, my room faced away from the harbour, I never say any balcony and never saw the possibility of a view of the water. So nice place but don't expect the harbour. I would not have chosen this place if I had know it was not on the harbour. Again, false advertising.

Review 15：On the day I sent a message twice to owner that we'll be arriving late in the evening. Asked him to confirm but I received nothing phoned him three times bit dud not answer. When we arrived door was locked, so we phoned him again. A woman answered but when she heard my husband telling her that we were in difficulty she hung up. Luckily a staff member came with a couple from the airport and let us in after checking who we were. The fact that reception desk is rarely manned is extremely irritating. Owners do not give us the impression that they have the passion to run a guesthouse. It's only there to make more money and nothing else. Moreover the mat in the bathroom is not ideal they let it dey in the bathroom and do when you go in, you cannot resist the bad smell that it leaves. We took it out on the balcony and left it there the whole time. Mattress is lousy. TV channels do not work and there us only one channel with Arabic subtitles that shows films in English.

Review 16：Breakfast is fine and the person who let us in on the first evening is very professional with regards to customers service and complaint handling. She should train the owners how it is done.

Review 17：Air conditioning didn't work for 3 of the days. One overhead light was missing, so it was difficult to read in bed; and the sofa bed had no bedside light. I felt there wasn't anyone who was overall in charge, who could welcome you, and give you useful local information, like 'where is the nearest local beach, and what sort of tickets must one get for the buses?' Also, please don't have the TV on during breakfast. It's quite unnecessary (and there was no sound anyway). You either want to talk to your partner over breakfast or remain happily quiet

Review 19：The tiled floors are noisy and the windows did not keep traffic noise out . The bathroom door was glass and noisy. Bacon at breakfast did not look attractive, it has white blobs on it and was not warm.

Review 31：Very expensive for what you get. It's more a two-star hotel than a 4-star one. We rented the car through them: AVOID IT!! The car was in terrible shape: doors didnt open, rear mirror broken and mechanics were faulty. The vustomer service was terrible.

Review 33：Ground floor room was smallish, had a bit of a leaky shower and had views only of a light shaft. Was fine for a night, but this room may be a bit dreary for a longer stay. There was noise from footsteps of people in room above. The mattress was larger than the bed frame although comfortable enough.

Review 37：Very bad spot. South of Malta. The worst views of the free port full of gigantic machines right in the middle of the sea. This hotel would have been good if it was somewhere else. The location is really really bad.

Review 38：Loved the staff and the room was quite good. The area is a fishing village where there is no decent beach around. The village is good to visit for an evening to eat at one tavern but really, not good to stay.

Review 46：It takes a very long time to catch connecting buses to other popular tourist sites. Buses from this hotel to Valetta take 40 minutes during normal traffic. And from Valetta, you change to other buses to go further. Many buses come once a hour. And on top, the bus schedules are unrealiable. It is better to have a car if stay at this hotel, and still want to visit a number of places in a short time.

Review 47：The hotel is situated in the town with a beautiful harbour and near a nice beach. There is a big Sunday market just outside of the hotel. Very convenient if these are the main activities you do.

The hotel owner and his brother are wonderful people . Really care about the customer . Their restaurant nearby has very good food. I highly recommend that place. I will definitely go back there.

Review 68：The Harlbour Lodge is situated in a picturesque Marsaxlokk. The hotel staff is very helpfull and very kind. The room is clean and confortable, maybe too little balcony, but the other rooms have enough big ones. The breakfast good, for those who like croissants only as well cheese and eggs and sausages.. and fruits. It'a a place for those who are looking for a calm and ambiance different from citys, movement and noise. I love this place!

Review 69：Breakfast OK, but cold meats and cheeses should be placed in a refrigerated unit (as other hotels) and ALL food should be covered at all times (flies). Should provide pots of tea/coffee. Shouldn't have to ask for a drink. TV channels too limited. No BBC world news in English.

Room conditions were great, A/C worked brilliantly, everything was nice and tidy and we had daily cleaning. WiFi coverage was fair, for our limited use it was OK. Breakfast was great, covering all the needs. Staff was very friendly and helpful, transport from/to the airport was absolutely free. All in all, it was a great place to stay, I would recommend Harbour Lodge to anyone seeking a nice, comfy and quiet accommodation.

Review 93：A személyzet kedves volt, a reggeli bőséges (változatos édes péksütemények, kenyérfélék, szalámik, sajtok, tojásos ételek, gyümölcsök, joghurtok, ivólevek, tej, kávé, tea, műzli, dzsemek, vaj). A minibár nem drága, a környék autentikus, csendes, nem az a bulizós vad település :). A padló picit piszkos volt, mert a szél folyton fúj, behordja a port. A levegő jó illatú, Marsaxlokk gyönyörű. Az ágyban egyetlen nagy takaró van, úgyhogy ha vki külön takaróval szeret aludni, annak szólnia kell. The staff was great, the breakfast was rich, Marsaxlokk wonderful.
