Reviews for Villa Marietta

Review 1:Terrible owner screams to the customer each time you comment that something doesn't work ok Entrance thru at least 30 narrow steps in the dark even we got a torch from the owner(no electric lights near steps) Left after 2 nights instead of 4

Review 2:Only the view

Review 3:Vincenzo and Carmella always went out of their way to make us feel like part of an extended family. Fantastic hosts. Incredible view and a very nice little town If we make it back to Italy we will be here again for sure!

Review 4:Nothing in particular, it is just a bit hard to find, but ask around for Villa Marietta de Vincento - locals know him. If you miss the last bus up the hills, just stay in the piazza and drink a glass of wine or two at Midnight Bar. at Antonio, where locals hang out. The stairs to Villa Marietta will be then easier, Another plus - you can see Ravello from Villa Marietta Terrace

Review 5:The host, Signore Vincenzo, is EXCEPTIONAL! Very warm and welcoming...un Italiano Verro! He even gave us a ride to town when we needed it. Very funny man! The property has a great view. it is truely an authenthic Italian place - more of a home, than a hotel. You feel like a local!

Review 6:The was no wi fi in the room Breakfast was appalling- cooked omelette hour before I needed to eat it !! bun in plastic bag! undrinkable coffee it was very hard to get around only one bus every hour but stops at 8 in the evening and its very high up - only exorbitant taxis to get home Owner walked about in his knickers!! owner walked around in his pants!

Review 7:Stairs can be dark at night but you can manage.

Review 8:Easy to get into town yet remote location on top of mountainside. Wonderful hostess Camella will make you feel right at home. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast on terrace is a relaxing place to start your day. We would definitely return to this property. Place for parking if you rent a car. This is a real plus.

Review 9:Lots of stairs to the rooms.

Review 10:The owners were very cute! They greeted us with open arms! Our room had a great view of Minori and the hills. It is in the hill, definitely a good idea to have a car.

Review 11:Breakfast is very average. Packaged crosaints, stale bread and not very good coffee. Info provided by owner not very clear. Wi-fi non existent. Not able to pay with Eftpos.

Review 12:Great view of coast, big bedroom and massive bathroom. Room cleaning very thorough!

Review 13:Panorama stupendo

Review 14:Nothing

Review 15:Amazing host Vincenzo, looked after us throughout our stay. Amazing scenery and location overlooking Minori. Free parking excellent.

Review 16:The road is narrow and steep. Many steps from road to room. Breakfast very poor.

Review 17:The view is fabulous

Review 18:Beautiful views, the owner and his wife were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home.Nothing was a bother for them. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends.

Review 19:Narrow road up to villa, but communale bus runs regularly so no need to drive it.

Review 20:The best view over the town,at night especially. Casual atmosphere in town well serviced, far more pleasant than Amalfi.

Review 21:Clean and cozy room with great view. Sweet breakfast is serve on the terrace with wonderful view of the Minori Bay. You can also lay on the hammock there. It’s really relaxing and calm place. B&B has own parking place which is totally free of charge. Owners are really nice and helpful couple. Vincenzo gave us all important information about surroundings (walking trails, good restaurants) and even helped us with carrying our baggage. It takes aprox. 20 min to go down to the center of Minori and a bit longer to climb back, but there is a bus stop near the B&B door.

Review 22:A long walk to the beach, standard of the room is not very high, uncomfortable beds ( folded sofa-bed).

Review 23:Nice owners, wonderful view

Review 24:The host family was very kind, landscape and beach beautiful and the room was comfortable, nice and clean.
