Review 1：Lara & Daniella are lovely & helpful.This lovely old building in a convenient location has been renovated to very high, detailed architectural specifications. We loved our attic room with both window with a view, & high-tech skylight. Easy access both to & from here by bus and ferry. Despite this, Balbianino's in a quiet location with no through traffic. Direct walking access to Villa Balbionello & its beautiful grounds & surrounding park. Easy walk to delightful lakefront boulevard (one minute), ferry (4 mins), & bus stop, with frequent services to everywhere you want to go. In the historic heart of Lenno, with its laneways, eateries for varying budgets, fantastic gelateria, historic churches
Review 2：Great value for Lake Como. Loved our walk to Villa Balbianello and the ferry is 10 minutes away. They offered eggs for breakfast at no extra charge.
Review 3：Both the B&B itself and the service was just superb ! Delicious breakfast, quite and clean room and the most kind and helpful staff you can really imagine. The location is also great, 5 minutes walk to the ferry station. I didn't need to use the wifi as it was holiday time to relax, but it worked amazing as well.

Review 14：Great B&B, good quality fittings throughout, clean, modern and a great location. Staff were very friendly and cooperative, and luckily for us spoke good English as our Italian is not great. We will return.
Review 15：The room was quite hot and the aircon wasn't really working properly. As it's quite a small room, it would help to have a better aircon unit in there. We did use the fan, but while sleeping it would have been nice to have just the aircon on if it had been cooling the room enough.

Review 23：The location is fantastic and our room on the top floor had a view of Lago di Como. The skylight in our room was a nice edition. A very comfortable stay overall.
Review 24：There was no AC, and it was hot as hell. The bed was not comfortable at all. It's a shame that such a nice hotel, with a good location and nice staff, really left us with bad taste because we couldn't sleep at night due to the heat.

Review 26：The air conditioning didn't seem to work and the room was too warm for me in the evening to sleep comfortably. I also didn't see any welcome pack in the room, which would be helpful, indicating a few things to do in the area and where the local amenities are esp. atm machines and also something with wifi instructions.
Review 27：The place is amazing, with ample character and some lovely touches to the decor. The location is 2 mins from the lakeside restaurants and port to catch the ferry and even closer to Lido di Lenno, which is a great spot for beach lounging, cooling off in the lake, hiring boats and enjoying campari/aperol spritzers. The space feels very homely and the energy from being in this space is very positive, everything seems brand new and super clean.
Review 28：Disappointing. First of all, air conditioning in our room didn't work, so comfortable sleep was almost impossible. Second, wi-fi was not working at our floor and even downstairs the connection is extremely slow and unstable. Overrated place, in our view.

Review 30：The Location was really wonderfull, you wouldn't say so at first sight but a few meters behind the B&B you are on the shore of the Como Lake, it is really beautiful. Lenno is located in the centre of the lake and you can easily take the ferry to Bellagio, Como and Menaggio. Come is 30min by bus.. The room was very clean and Daniela was really friendly, we received a very warm welcome and we could check in at 9AM instead of 3PM

Review 38：Very little to complain about. As I had read in reviews, the wifi connection wasn't great but it wasn't a problem and plus so many of the bars in Lenno offer free wifi it barely makes a difference. We were in one of the downstairs rooms and though it was very quiet throughout the night, it is right next to the breakfast area so you may be a little disturbed when breakfast is served (8-10am). It didn't bother us as we were always up anyway but if you enjoy a lie in I would request and upstairs room.
Review 39：Balbianino was easy to find, beautifully presented and clean, exceptionally friendly staff, great location on the lake right next to Lido Di Lenno and Villa Del Balbianello (Casino Royal and Star Wars film location) and great value. It was also very quiet at night so we always had an undisturbed sleep. Breakfast was also included and had a good selection. They also offered parking right outside of the hotel. Lenno was beautiful and the hotel was just perfect, we'd go back in a second!
Review 40：An issue with the location rather than the accommodation. Our visit was in early October and all but one of the local restaurants were closed. The only one open offered very basic food (standard pizzas etc). If staying in Lenno during the "off season" a car would be useful to access other restaurants further around the coast.

Review 44：- Cigarette smoke from corridor and ventilation, even those it is a non-smoking hotel. - Lake view is miserable. Not worth the money at all. - Wi-Fi is not working in the rooms and low speed. My 3g phone worked better. - Extra pay for late check-in, but they didn't check that hot water was working. We had a very frustrating experience: stayed only for 1 night without hot water, because the gas was out and personnel didn't check that, knowing that it sometimes finishes and there are new guests. After several talks with manager we were offered a compensation of free night for our next stay. Well, thank you, but no more! In general, I think the hotel is a bit overpriced for such service, even though there are some good things in the hotel (see above). (- Хоть и указано, что в отеле нельзя курить, нам из корридора и вытяжки был очень слышен запах сигарет - Вид из окна на озеро (за что мы дополнительно заплатили), оказался видом на дерево и гору, между которыми виднелся кусочек воды. - Вай-фай в номерах не ловит (слишком слабый сигнал), хотя в описании сказано, что есть. - За то, что мы приехали поздно (в 21:00), с нас взяли дополнительную плату в 10 евро, забыв при этом предварительно проверить номер на наличие горячей воды. Об этом подробнее. Предыдущий постоялец уже описывал аналогичный случай с водой. Как видно, проблему устранять не спешат, хоть и знают о ней. Вода появилась утром. У администратора мы узнали, что отель никак не может провести газ и вода греется балоном, который закончился. Администратор, конечно, много извинялась, но не смогла объяснить, почему заранее не проверили, что балон закончился. В конце концов нам предложили компенсацию - бесплатную ночь в отеле в наш следующий визит. Но врядли мы там еще раз остановимся. В целом, считаю, что цена за ночь завышена, учитывая качество сервиса.)

Review 50：At arrival got overcharged by 90 Euros for my booking, next day I told them to fix it and I got the money back. WI FI is extremely slow and very weak signal, useless. They did not replace dirty towels in bathroom or the bathroom mat, I dropped the towel on the floor to indicate its dirty and they folded it back and put it back for me to use, this happened multiple times during my 6 night stay. Did not empty rubbish bin in bathroom during my 6 night stay, not once. Hot water was not working one night and they told me they can't fix it sorry, so I had to have shower in ice cold water. Room was noisy because, could hear everything from next room also when people walking upstairs the ceiling made really loud noise, basically this is a big old itallian house with many bedrooms only its renovated. No air conditioning, was very warm and humid at night, you have to open window but lots of mosquitoes outside. Breakfast was poor quality and not much variety. Overall worst accommodation in Italy I stayed so far... If you can pay more and stay somewhere else, the only reason I stayed here is because its a new recently opened accommodation, when I booked 0 reviews, and on the pictures it looked good and was affordable, so I thought I will give it a try, now regret it.
