Review 3：The opposite street from hotel is the terminal from the airport bus. It's quite convinient to reach the hotel. Besides, the concierge from the hotel are really considerate for the customers, offering one day trip or something else.

Review 6：I LIKED EVERYTHING!! I am a huge fan of this hotel. Stayed 3 nights. Staff were so accommodating. I had free secure temporary storage when I went to climb Mt. Kinabalu. Checking in was a breeze even when I arrived at 2 am. Breakfast was delicious.

I called hotel staff to fix this problem but the solution was that they remove the air con filter and just leave us to sleep without air filter and breath the dust?! I requested for room change but they deny. Me and my friends were so disappointed :(

Review 10：Location. Right next to the bus station to Kinabalu park. Easy to find restaurant near by which open 24 hours! Many minimart around.

Review 11：The pay tv channels did not have much of a range. Hotel did not provide a shuttle bus service to airport or to the shopping mall compared to other hotels. Luckily we had relatives to take us to airport.

Review 12：It was located in city centre and walking distance to the major shopping malls. It is close to a lot of nice restaurants mainly located on Gaya street. The breakfast buffet was a small range to choose from but omelette station was very good. They had a cook everyday cooking fresh omelette for us. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Review 37：the picture in the website does not resemble what is the actual. It is more like a chinatown decorated motel with small rooms and low bed. The toilet smells and the reception are substandard compare to the other hotel that we serve. Nothing much to expect. Price are the same as the hotel that have more facilities like swimming pool and gym.

Review 49：I didn't like the breakfast buffet. I felt like the food choices were limited especially if you're a meat lover. For an overnight stay, breakfast would be ok. But if you'll be staying for more than 2 nights, breakfast becomes something you don't look forward to. Although Dreamtel is near the city centre and Gaya street, there are other hotels/accommodations that are more affordable and are located right in the center of everything.

Review 50：The staff were friendly, accommodating and very knowledgable about the things to do around the area. We also liked our room: Triple room with window located at the 4th floor - very comfortable. Also, there's no need to worry about safety because the building and rooms are secured.

I contacted the hotel prior to arriving when I realised that we would be leaving very early to see if that could sort breakfast out for us. Should really look into this problem seriously, because internet is important for business people. The room is huge, but if it comes with better matters we would be more happier. Review 88：we booked for deluxe double room, the room is spacious, and the bed is king size, so its big, but the mattress can be better. We have small sea-view from the room window although we have specifically requested for full front sea-view, but we been told it depends on the availability. Apart from that the room is really good. Clean and big. I love the room service staffs, we requested IRON and its arrive fast. Breakfast spread is fairly good. OVERALL, the hotel is a great hotel.

The rooms need a bit more care: bed sheets were stained, walls are all scuffed, tiles in bathroom have water stains, windows had smudges on the inside, furniture was a bit dusty and chipped, carpet needs a good vacuum (including along baseboards) and floors need a good scrub (scuffed). For these reasons I say it's not worth its value.

Review 111：Bed was comfortable, room and bathroom size were good. Location was right in the centre of the city so everything was within a 10minute walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 120：I really love the staff who checked me in early and also helped me to negotiate for taxi early 4 a.m where i have to travel to the airport and i was short of rm10 for early hour taxi. I really appreciate the male stuff who worked on 17th and 18th June and all hotel will normally charge money for early checked in but they didn't that really soothe my tiredness after a big delay for flight from Cebu to Manila then another delay from Manila to Kota Kinabalu. They understand you are tired and you are frustrated. The bedroom was spacious and I felt very relax and well rest and it was quiet which was good. I also love the small refrigerator instead of minibar that i can keep some fresh fruit to be consumed in hotel. they have extra pillow which made me even better. It is very near to everywhere and the taxi to airport was RM 45 in the night and RM 30 in the day. It is near to Gaya street and there is taxi as early as 3a.m to airport just park outside and wait and there is a bus stop in front where you can get bus to airport as low as rm5.

Review 123：The helpful staff. The receptionist who checked me in and checked me out were very friendly, helpful and always with a smile. The concierge even help to bring my 26kg luggage to the bus station across the road. He didn't have do it but he did it anyway.

We had three breakfasts and the mains and dessers were the same. But it was still a great breakfast compared to the other places we stayed in the area.

Hotel should also work with a pool of taxi drivers who are committed to using the meter instead instead of telling customers that's how its done in KK.
