Reviews for Al Duomo
Review 1:Bathroom with little bit dirty tile facing and leaking in a shower. English language capabilities of assistant were not sufficed.
Review 2:Perfect place in the city center. 10 minutes from bus station and big supermarket by foot. Nice and cute room with comfortable beds, all with Sardinian lace. Kitchen for preparation of meal or whatever you want. WIFI worked perfectly in room. Hot shower sufficed. More hostel than BaB.
Review 3:The owner was very helpful even though not knowing so much English (thank you google translate!). I was allowed to bring my race bike into my room to keep safe.
Review 4:There were a lot of mosquitos in our room and we left the facility covered with their bites. Even though the ownef gave us something to repel them, it did not help. There was also a lot of noise in the night from the street outside right under our bedroom so we didn't sleep very well. Breakfast is standard croissants and coffee.
Review 5:Even though the B&B is located in a small aley, we found it rather quickly. It is located in the centre, only 10 minutes walk from bus and train station. Our room was cosy and the owner tried to explain everything the best she could, even though she doesn't speak english. She was really nice.
Review 6:Heating was not kept on, very cold room. Puor breakfast. Difficult to get in from the street, had to kick the door on the street, ask neighbouring people ahd shout. No clear ringing bell at the street door. Problems if your come late. Not value for money.
Review 7:Beds can be too short and somewhat small. Breakfast was very very basic and not very tasty; a sweet breakfast should have fresh croissants or fresh dolce.
Review 8:Location, very friendly owner.
Review 9:I have been two times at Al Duomo Bed & Breakfast. The house is a beautiful ancient and comfortable house at the center of Sassari, and the owners are really kind and helpful.
Review 10:We arrived in Sassari very unexpectedly, but owners kindly hosted us anyway. Place has an excellent location in the historical centre. And interior is just great, we really liked it.
Review 11:Finding it...our fault ...few in Sassari speak English so know inadvance which way to walk.
Review 12:Super helpful and friendly staff, roomy accommodations, good breakfast, and located just a short walk from the train station. Half of the staffspeaks English...an excellent ratio for Sassari. We will definitely return !
Review 13:Mosquitos.
Review 14:Location was awesome.
Review 15:Mind walking 30+ steps with your lugguage
Review 16:The owner tried the best to accommodate to the needs.
Review 17:nothing in particular
Review 18:location is great, good value place
Review 19:Finding parking space near by can be difficult, narrow winding streets.
Review 20:Excellent location, nicely renovate old apartment/rooms.
Review 21:Great and friendly staff! The kitchen and rooms are really lovely
Review 22:Basic breakfast It can be noisy if other people dont pay attention
Review 23:Private bathroom In the center
Review 24:-clean rooms and bathroom -great breakfast on terrace -very kind owner
Review 25:Annoying mosquito attacks all night. Sleepless.
Review 26:Friendly and helpful house owner.
Review 27:rooms divided with a door/zero insulation :(
Review 28:Friendly, helpful and fun staff. Spacious room, in the very center of the city, newly tastefully renovated property, 15 min. walk from bus/train station :)
Review 29:Breakfast was very spartan. Some fresh bread, fruit, cheese would really help.
Review 30:Charming, high-ceiling rooms in a nicely restored centuries old stone townhouse. This is all about a homey feel in the middle of a real Sardinian town. A beautiful ancient church piazza is just steps down tight the laneway. This is NOT a modern facility-rich hotel. Friendly, humourous proprietress.
Review 31:Very hard to find – there's no sign of the hotel. To enter you need to find a doorbell button among other buttons near one of the doors in a dark narrow side-street :)
Review 32:Unique experience of staying in a flat with vintage interior in an old building in Sassari centre with a wonderful view from the terrace! Hostess is very nice but doesn't speak English. Free Wi-Fi. Perfect value for money.
Review 33:Outside of coffee, breakfast was kind of a DIY experience, without fresh bakery, fruits or yogurt. Perhaps the most disappointing was the noise-level. Our room's door was without a proper seal and any noise that occurred within the apartment sounded like it was right in the room. Also, a portion of our room was dedicated to another person's bathroom, complete with skylight and without insulation, so all light and sound poured into the room (awkwardly), when it was in use. We're not light sleepers, and were both woken up whenever the bathroom was in use, (7am and 11pm).
Review 34:Alessandra was very kind and even though she did not speak English (as advertised), she was an accommodating host. The apartment itself was impressively renovated and decorated. All facilities were very clean, the bed was comfortable to sleep in and the wifi was reliable and very fast!
Review 35:The Duomo B&B is sited in an old restaurated building at the heart of the ancient center of Sassari. If you want to take a look to the city center and its monuments this is the perfect location. The Duomo cathedral far few hundreds metres from there.
Review 36:Staff at Al Duomo is extremely nice and willing to help. I felt comfortable during my stay there, rooms are spacy and the location is perfect. I definetly recommend it to travellers coming to Sassari.
Review 37:Al Duomo is not easy to find. A sign by the door and a clearer sign on the bell push would help.
Review 38:Alessandro was very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent, right in the centre of the historic old town. Just 500m from rail station. The room was clean with simple traditional furnishings.
Review 39:Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is really nice and helpful!
Review 40:Very nice people. Nice room. Nice kitchen. Great cake
