Reviews for Palm Beach Bungalow Resort

Review 1:No wifi even though it was advertised The pictures look nothing like what you get. The beach isn't great. No nice white sand or turquoise waters... They had 1 kayak and it had a hole. We didn't get any kind of welcome to explain what we could do while we were there, if there were trips etc. Also, big warning- if you're going for nightlife so not go here. It is MILES away from anything. 1 hour boat ride from the main beach area. There is no atmosphere, as shown in the pics. Avoid...

Review 2:The hammocks and bar area was nice. The only saving grace here was the Dutch lady who we assumed was related to the owner(?) She was lovely.

Review 3:Could definitely be more beach beds.

Review 4:We enjoyed our stay here, first of all I could go back just to have the best welcome drink ever! Beautiful resort even thoe there are rocks just in front of the resort you just to walk a few steps to the left or right for great swim. Very good food served in the restaurant and very sweet staff. The bungalow we booked was a very basic family bungalow with fan, it was exactly what we expected after looking at the photos from booking and their homepage. Since it is a very isolated spot you have to hang around in the resort restaurant and maybe talk to other guests since there is no wifi!! Maybe this place isn't for everyone, but our family really liked it .

Review 5:-There is no WIFI at all, although its advertised on Booking!!! (as I needed the connection, it costs me 80 USD extra via mobile) -Diesel agregate is loud and running whole night. -There is only possibility to have meals in the hotel restaurant (2-3x more expensive than on Cambodia mainland and not tasty enough). -Very dirty sea, every day comes a lot of garbage -Very uncomfortable beds

Review 6:Nice, totally isolated location. Good for one or two nights, but no more!

Review 7:The 40 dollar bungalows are really, really basic. Bit more than we expected. And not as close to the sea as we expected/hoped

Review 8:Beautifull location. Very nice restaurant area. More than enough comfortable sunbeds and hammocks. Owners made us feel really welcome and at home. We would definitely book here again

Review 9:Unfortunately being secluded on the island had its costs. The beach immediately in front of our beach-front hut was practically impossible to swim in due to the sharp rocks and therefore we had to walk for a while only to be rewarded with an extremely shallow bay. Would also recommend taking travel tablets before going on the boat ride as seas were quite rough at times and even when they weren't, the long trip took its toll.

Review 10:Very pretty and nicely decorated place. Being secluded it was easier to go see the bioluminescent plankton as not as many lights surrounding it. Nice staff, lots of space to chill out and good food available. Good for short stays only! Wouldn't recommend going for extended periods of times as not much to do other than sunbathe and lounge around (which is great too!)

Review 11:perhaps the bungalow might have a better mosquito-isolation method. The mosquito net sometimes does not work and you wake up all bitten.

Review 12:The bungalows are simple but very cozy and confortable. In the beach itself is the perfect stay in Koh Rong.

Review 13:I did get bit a little by mosquitoes but that is normal for me. I was surprised that there were not that many in general. A small ant problem but you are living a little outside.

Review 14:What an amazing untouched and gorgeous location. No wifi, but we wanted that. The bungalows were rustic but cozy and we were 30 feet from the ocean on beach sand. There is only one restaurant but many choises and very good food.

Review 15:Transfer to island very simple. Everything done for you. Rik was very welcoming upon arrival. Baby Christian is super cute. Bungalows exceptionally clean and well looked after. The staff are very friendly and do a great job. There is no wifi which was very welcome as it completely removes you from the outside world. I can't understand why some people complain about this place about things they already know before they get there like wifi, fan, cold water, a few little bugs etc. It's a small undeveloped island where nature still rules and they've now acquired sealed bungalows that are available for a little extra. Rik was great throughout and it is very apparent there is a lot of effort going toward making the place even better than it already is. The palm beach special welcome drink was a delight and I wish I could remember how it was made. We hope to return one day. If we ever come back to Koh Rong this will certainly be the place.

Review 16:A little bit difficult to get there, but the staff arranged our transfer.

Review 17:Wonderful resort at a quiet beach, no other accommodation around. Perfect for relaxing.

Review 18:I'm ok to sleep in a basic bungalow (which it was) if the price is right. Knock ten bucks a night off the price and it'd be fine. My girlfriend (and two other people at the resort) got sick from something. The jury is still out whether it was the fish or the delicious but mysterious welcome drinks handed out.

Review 19:This place was a wonderful getaway. Perfect setting for a few days relaxation. The owner was friendly and helpful in getting us the right transport back to mainland after we took the wrong ferry over (make sure you get the ferry directly to Palm Beach because it was an expensive hassle getting there from main ferry terminal on koh rong).

Review 20:The beach is beautiful and clean, the staff is super friendly and the food was delicious. They don't take advantage of the fact that they are the only resort on that side of the island, thus prices are very fair. The bungalows are clean, simple and very cosy. The sunset cruise they offer every day is fantastic and we felt like home from the first day.

Review 21:Stuff-Amazing! Warm people with open hearts who make everything to make you feel at home. Place-amazing. Beautiful place, beautiful bungalows, great authentic fishermen'village 20min walk and 20 min by cayak.cuisine -amazing. Best in Cambodia we've tasted. We were in love in the place and the people. Definitely we'll come back or recommend the place.

Review 22:Nothing, it's back to basic (no wifi, electricity for a couple of hours, cold showers) but we loved it!

Review 23:Lovely place, beautiful blue water and palm trees. Snorkelling is awesome! They've got a new boat, that's a lot bigger and faster than their previous boat. Therefor, the trip to the resort only takes two hours. The staff is very friendly and we felt very welcome. The food is very good! Definately going back to this beautiful resort.

Review 24:This, of course, will not always be the case but during our stay, construction noise was ongoing and unavoidable.

Review 25:The location is sensational with wonderful views and crystal clear waters. The owner and his staff were very friendly and helpful. This place can boast a terrific atmospheric feel. The snorkelling/sunset tour was excellent value for money. Fabulous food and beverage selection all times of day.

Review 26:4h away from the Sihanoukville port. too far away and the boat is really too slow. Other locations of the island are reachable in 40 min by fast boat. bungalows are ok but like 30 years ago

Review 27:nice location, away from everything lovely restaurant, bar area. Very kindstaff

Review 28:I was not prepared the length of ferry - 3hours. It was a basic fishing boat instead of speed boat which was a bit terrifying in even just some big winds (for me who do not know how to swim).

Review 29:I love the castaway experience provided by Palm beach resort. It is isolated, deriving us of all comfortable technologies (we do not have any control on electricity, water supply, internet connection, ferry, etc.). We stayed two nights and felt closer to nature. The staff are nice.

Review 30:-no correct information about the (speed) boat transfer -resort is not very well-kept -beach is not clean -very few people (because of low season?)

Review 31:-food (kitchen staff)

Review 32:Firstly, there is no speed boat, it takes three hours on a trawler to get there, as opposed to the 50 minutes advertised. Dirtiest beach I've ever been on, rubbish everywhere. Nothing to do, felt the water was too dirty to swim. It was too shallow to snorkel. Though owner was very nice, heard too much personal problems of owner, which isn't exactly what you want to hear when on holiday.

Review 33:The food was good! Fluorescent plankton, very pretty. Good place to go if you really want to do very little to nothing.

Review 34:The lie about the boat. They are using an old local boat that broke down before we left the harbour. I asked what would happen if we had been 10km out, response was a it do another boat to pass. No safety at all

Review 35:Speed boat is broken, so it takes more than two hours to go to Ko Rong. When you stay a couple of days, room doesn't get cleaned or towels changed.

Review 36:Staff is very friendly, nice location, perfect to relax because there's no wifi.

Review 37:1.Living environment is very awful and dirty. The restroom is broken and no one fixed it when I asked for room services. 2.No electricity for 18hrs a day. 3.One day before we went there, they told me the speedy boat is broken for the past 5 months.(Why don't you tell me eariler?) Only the slow boat from Sihanaukville to Palm Beach is available. You should take the boat for over 3hrs(They lied me 2hrs only...) 4.The hotel has some day trip for all the guests. They told me their boats are rent by travellers in other hotels in the first day. After the boats are returned, they are reluctant to take our out. They made lots of excuse like the sky is not so beautiful...blablabla. 5. Be careful for the dog sheets everywhere. 6. Seafood quality is bad and expensive.

Review 38:Beach is beautiful.

Review 39:The beach was amazing. The place is serene & beautiful, ideal for a relaxing vacation. The place is a little far from the main port & took us almost 2 hrs to reach. Also, the travelers need to ensure that they take the correct ferry. The staff were very friendly & we had a very good time at the place.

Review 40:Owner being rude to his emoloyed. Shouting at them alot. Room was full of lizzards and their poo. Sandfleas Beach was very dirty. No internetconnection even if it is advertised there is. Not a big menu and variation in the food and a bit pricy.

Review 41:Nice location for relaxing. Nice helpfull staff. Had a lovely boattrip booked via the hostel.

Review 42:The employers, especially the head of the place, shouted to his employees while customers were present. Snorkeling was not extraordinary.

Review 43:Nice basic bungalow and nice restaurant for hanging out. Try canoeing down the little river!

Review 44:-The owner get drunk every night and shot to the employes this create a very bad energy around. -No wifi . -The food is not the best -The boat is around 2 hours to get there not 45 minutes -Sometimes no water in your room

Review 45:-The place is very beautiful and you can have the opportunity to see very nice sunrise -The bungalows are rustic but confortables -The island is perfect to relax , beautiful clear water

Review 46:A lot of sandflies - bring repellents.

Review 47:I liked the secluded location, the beach, territory, hammocks, beach bar, very relaxing. Bungalow is very basic but ok.

Review 48:The service was pretty bad, the local staff were over worked, working early morning until late at night every day. The western owners would swear at their staff and at each other in front of customers, they wouldn't get up to serve you and take your order, they were just hanging out at the bar. They didn't explain any of the services of the island (equipment to hire etc) or what boat trips were available to go. Just lots of little things that add up and make it seem like a poorly run business.

Review 49:There are some sections of the beach that are nice, but others are either dirty with rubbish or just smelly.

Review 50:The trip over in the speed boat good, unfortunately going back the seas were very rough. You have to take the good with the bad

Review 51:We were after a good ,quiet, remote location and we found it. Pleasant staff with excellent hosts - Mike and Annie. Make sure you try the welcome drink - it is excellent I ended up purchasing many more.

Review 52:i loved how a boat trip was arranged and the general overall feel of this part of koh rong as opposed to other beaches we visited. very couple orientated

Review 53:Small jellyfish in the water made swimming somewhat unpleasant for the kids. It was harmless, but painful. I didn't particularly like the food offered in the one and only restaurant.

Review 54:The beach was great for kids. At high tide, they could play in waist deep water, and at low tide the sand and small pools of water became a playground for finding small treasures. We even found a large starfish and seahorse and put them in deeper water until the tide came back in.

Review 55:I don't know where to start. It was just awful. In every way.The boat was a death trap it took three hours to get there people were throwing up all over the place (two on the way there, five on the way back) there was nothing to do there, no link to the main bit of the island. Electricity only from 5pm to 12am. So going for a wee at night is a nightmare (unless you remembered to charge your phone, which we did not) It was so overpriced I cannot begin to tell you. I thought it was ok when I booked it from the UK but having been to Cambods and seeing the average prices OMG this place is a RIP OFF. Avoid like the plague. To summarise if you like being ripped off, being sick/people puking on you on a crowded boat, being stuck on a piece of land the size of a football pitch with nowhere else to go, going for a pitch black danger wee and sleeping on a mattress and pillow which may as well be a rock decorated with another rock, this is the place for you.

Review 56:Leaving.The resident animals.

Review 57:The waste with food - although delicious, too much and orders were often wrong, due to limited English. Be aware of cats sitting on dining chairs and tables, dogs on your lounges overnight too at your bungalows. the boat trip back was particularly scary, even the crew and skipper looked worried, with boat tossing side to side!

Review 58:The isolation, going back to basics and being reminded ine does not need a lot in this world to truly enjoy life. Being able to spend time to really slow down and enjoy each moment - priceless!

Review 59:I suggest putting basic information in the huts e.g. power goes on at 5:30pm etc... because I missed the introductory speech at the start of my stay and then wasn't sure what was going on. I suggest you might need an extra staff member during meal times, the one guy looked a bit overworked at times and wow he does long days! Furthermore, I wasn't sure whether I was supposed to go up to the counter to get a menu or sit and wait for a menu... so you need to make that more obvious otherwise your guests might be sitting there for ages thinking they're being ignored. Also, when the power went out, I didn't like the way the person who was in charge spoke to his staff member (easily within earshot of guests), I thought it was disrespectful. If re-training needs to be done or an issue arises, take the staff member out of earshot of guests and show them or tell them respectfully how to resolve the problem.

Review 60:The location is beautiful. It was a treat to have a beach hut about 20 meters from the beach. Water warm enough to go swimming, calm waters to go kayaking at the drop of a hat. Kayaks were free to use. The food at the restaurant was delicious!

Review 61:the slow boat that takes you to the island. i wouldnt mind paying the price we paid for the boat ride if it was a speedboat that reduced the travel time to anything lesser than the 3 long hours it took to get there.

Review 62:quite easily the highligh of our trip. the lack of wifi really does force you to chat with your fellow islanders. company was great, the owner who tends the bar and oversees everything was super friendly and kept us entertained. initially i was worried about the slow pace of island life, but our 3 days on the island flew by in a flurry of cocktails, sun and sand. the huts are sparse but clean. but you hardly spend any time in them so it doesnt matter as much. the water is lovely, and the beach nice . overall my sister and i had a wonderful relaxing stay and we would totally do it again.

Review 63:U are obrigated to eat in their restaurant wicht is expensive You pay for speed boat but it is actually slow 3 hours Beach too much isolated. U van only reach otger beaches by boat

Review 64:Clean room Isolated beach Good to relax

Review 65:The guy (Rick I believe) that ran the bar and restaurant was drunk every day and audibly yelled at one of the workers, his wife, and often on the phone. He may have had reason to be mad about the boat not being operational, but this was supposed to be a paradise and hearing him yell and curse every single day was a real downer. Also, the rooms have no real protection from the outside world and we had quite a few run ins with large spiders, sacadas, and massive lizards. Not the most pleasant sleeping conditions, but at least there's a bug net.

Review 66:the beach here was one of the nicest I've been to on my stay in Asia. Having said that, the garbage is rarely (if ever) cleaned up. The free kayak rental was cool too. The food was hit or miss, but the BBQ was excellent. Liked the fact that they didn't gouge you on price at the restaurant, even though they easily could.

Review 67:Bungalow was above a stagnant pool of water with lots of rubbish floating in it. Staff could be more polite, especially when dealing with complaints. We had a rat which frequented our bathroom, which didn't bother us but may bother some people, though we were somewhat bothered by very early morning construction work.

Review 68:Koh Rong is a wonderful island, bungalows were basic but had good bathroom with shower and a big double bed with a decent mosquito net. Free kayaks, snorkelling, and plenty of sunbeds and hammocks were provided.

Review 69:i really liked it that the bungalows are basic (cold shower, van, open windows) because that makes the experience! Also no WLAN was fine for me as you really are feel cast away and switch everything off. But the accomodation price was too expensive for that (40 dollars, no breakfast, no room cleaning, no Wifi). As you only get to the island with the private boat (11 dollars one way) - not a sped ferry as on the picture but a local fisher boat, that should be made more clear when you book as we didnt expect a rough 4 hour boat ride - and you have to go to the resorts restaurant as there is nothing else, you leave there some money anyway, so the prices for the bungalows should be adapted to what you get there ! So thats why no 10 points, for 25 dollars it would have been perfect!

Review 70:beautiful basic place, you really get the castaway experience, basic but nice accomodation, good restaurant and bar lovely decorated, nice beach, Plankton at night, perfect to relax!

Review 71:I know the accommodation is basic, however the was REALLY very uncomfortable. I've stayed in a lot of budget places around Asia but I'm afraid this was the worst bed. I didn't sleep at all.

Review 72:Great feel, great BBQ, quiet atmosphere and cool bar area with hammocks. Great location for sunrise!

Review 73:The 3-4 hour long boat ride on the village boat, we were told 45 mins by high speed boat. The amenities were very very basic for the price. Mosquito nets had holes in them.

Review 74:The location was lovely like a postcard. The food was really nice and the waiter top class.

Review 75:The only things that was missing was a battery-power fan. It was really hot inside the cabin.

Review 76:It was what we were looking for. Hammocks all around, sleeping at the beach, sunrises, cocktails (try midori swizzle as long as it is there) and good basic food. You can`t "Koh Rong" for this price.

Review 77:- Our double bed dipped in the middle making it quite uncomfortable for two people - Bungalow is quite small and squishy for 3 people (Looks like a camper bed was just set up in a regular room to make it a triple)

Review 78:- Location away from main backpackers area, beautiful beach, much preferred to the main area - Restaurant/bar still had enough people to be lively - Activities: walk across the island, snorkelling, kayaking, swimming, reading - Staff were very warm and attentive - Food and drinks were reasonably priced considering it was the only place to eat, and the menu was nicely varied

Review 79:Rick, his wife and their staff were absolutely great, and the atmosphere they have created is laid back and friendly. The staff seem like one big family who are all happy to be there, the food is fresh and good, and it is all around a very pleasant place to be. The open air bar/restaurant where everyone eats and gathers at night is the best we have seen anywhere. The bungalows are very charming yet basic, with open air windows, mosquito nets over the beds (we did not get one bite), limited electricity and a very basic bathroom in each. Not for the princess who needs to blow-dry her hair to get ready for the beach. We stayed at more posh hotels before and after and found that mixing it up this way made for a fantastic vacation.

Review 80:Little bit difficult yo get there by your one. Best is to book bota trickets in Palm Beach main office in S-ville.

Review 81:Nice staff. Peacfull place :) recommend it !

Review 82:Such an amazing crew had never met. Both on land and on the island they were all very friendly. The food is delicious and can be prepared very individually. Bungalows really clean and the beach although not large is very pleasant. We recommend

Review 83:The bungalow could use some repairing. One of the stairs was broken, there were nails sticking out on the room, the bathroom accesories were old.

Review 84:The staff, the owner and their attentions. The place was nicely decorated and cozy. The food was very nice as well!

Review 85:I highly recommend this place, menu on the website of "hotel" that has nothing to do with the menu in true comfort of the rooms is very limited ... no flush no electricity, cleanliness is desired, cold water. Regarding the speed boat service if you can call it speed boat, the boss drops by two petrol to save money surely? Whatever you pay for a service speed in the end to stay stuck in the middle of the ocean in the sun for 3 hours to wait for a boat brings gasoline to help .... and in the end you bring a boat fisherman. Departure at 11 am on the island, has reached a sihanouk 4:30 p.m. .... Or how rotten a vacation day. Came to the office to express our displeasure boss immediately pay off our back and forth in speed boat. I would never foot the bottom So I reiterate has discouraged unless you want to live in the "koh lanta."

Review 86:The smile of the staff (2 womans)

Review 87:Nothing really! the shower and toilet are very basic, and there is not much organized entertainment. However we did not see this as a bad thing but more as part of the cast-away experience. Don't let this stop you from visiting!

Review 88:- price - the cabin was larger than expected. Around 20 square meters. - we had our own hammock and porch. - the food was excellent. As were the cocktails. - the island is perfect for a daytime stroll through the jungle, in which the paths are easy to recognize. - at night, you can go swimming with glowing plankton. It is marvelous! Be sure to bring a snorkeling set (which you can burrow from the hotel) and swing through water: your hands and arms will seem to glow leaving a sparkling trail!

Review 89:The boat ride across was so long!

Review 90:It's far enough from the main part of the island to feel like a deserted tropical island where you can just relax.the availability of kayak and snorkel gear is nice to pass the time if u get bored of just relaxing and the staff are friendly.Also-fluroscent plankton-beautiful!

Review 91:Our room smelt horrible. Think it was the curtains. Very limited equipment compared to what was advertised. Rooms not very clean.

Review 92:The food was amazing in the restaurant and staff were very nice.

Review 93:The food could have been more varieted, but it was ok. The bathroom could have been cleaned once during our stay (3 nights), that did not happen. But we didnt Ask for it either.

Review 94:Very nice and relaxing place. Very few guests because of low season, so we had the whole beach for ourselves. There was a storm in the area at the time of our visit, but it seemed to pass this beach most of the time.

Review 95:A really good place for relaxaition and stress down atmophere. Good food and friendly staff. A big difference to SehanoukVilles pigparty.

Review 96:Awesome location and staff

Review 97:Great place, great people, awesome cuisine. Paradise on earth.

Review 98:la gestione

Review 99:la posizione sul mare

Review 100:Dirty beaches, SANDFLIES!!

Review 101:lovely island location

Review 102:No wifi

Review 103:sand fleas

Review 104:location

Review 105:Great place for great, pecfull holiday! Chill out and relax!

Review 106:Wonderful location and nice bungalows on the beach. Very good restaurant.

Review 107:Double beds are too small for 2 people esp if you are not a couple,

Review 108:Super friendly staff, great location

Review 109:Bed bugs. Cold showers. lacking customer service. Not servicing the room

Review 110:Location wonderful, clean beach and good food

Review 111:Loads of trash on the beach.

Review 112:rocky beach

Review 113:the view, the location. the staff is really helpful and nice

Review 114:- Boat ride - Beach area (rocky) - Snorkeling equipment (lack thereof)

Review 115:+ Good food + Free kayaks + Friendly staff

Review 116:Amazing location, great staff, awesome food, no WI-FI but a lot of great people to talk to. I would definetly recommend to go there.

Review 117:The staff was really friendly The price was really good Location wonderful and really quiet

Review 118:As generator power only available from 6pm-11pm, the bungalows got very hot. We understand management is looking into solar powered fans - these would be awesome. Also, bathroom floor only has a small slope on it, hence doesn't drain dry quickly.

Review 119:Really enjoyed our 5 nights at Palm Beach. All staff very friendly. The meals were awesome - great kitchen crew. Great setting and we ventured around the island on foot and by kayack. Loved the fact there are no roads.

Review 120:Very welcoming feeling. Stayed for 2 nights and wish I could have stayed longer. Food and beverages very good value- same as if not better value than mainland! One would expect the price to be high purely for the fact you're stuck on an island. I was impressed- they are not out to fleece you, only to facilitate a nice relaxing stay.

Review 121:The boat ride over. Its sooo slow! Considering there are boats that can do it in 40mins, 3 hours is just too much.

Review 122:Im probably going to say the same as most other reviews. The place was awesome. It is going back to basics, but for a few nights its fine. Not having wifi was great, meant the atmosphere in the bar was really friendly. Everyone was up for chatting and sharing stories. Deffos walk to 7km beach its a long walk (and not cool after drinking too many of Beasts leathal cocktails) but its really worth it. Best beach we've ever been too! You wont regret staying here!

Review 123:1) electricity was only from 6 to 11 pm, but it was not big problem 2) on a lounger next to the restaurant, I forgot hat "Marlboro" and in the morning at breakfast he wore a local restaurant employee 3) I booked a cottage with view to the sea, but I got a cottage where the sea was covered by the bushes

Review 124:Koh Rong was one of the most beautiful places which i have seen during one-month the trip through Asia. I celebrated my 30th birthday there. Rick's restaurant and bar at the resort is great and Rick (owner of resort) is great guy. The trip through jungle to other side of island was amazing.

Review 125:The water supply was patchy (most days it was off for at least part of the day) but that's not so big a deal unless you have a real need to shower multiple times per day. The electricity only runs 6pm - 11pm, which isn't such a big deal unless you have brought anything you really need to plug in. There's no wi-fi, which is also fine unless you're planning on doing some work. Be aware that you can only get the resort-specific boat (which the resort office in Sihanookville will sort out for you) and it takes a while to get there (2-4 hours depending on how choppy things get).

Review 126:Palm Beach is a great place to (excuse the cliches) step away from the hubbub of Cambodia. If you're looking for excitement and action, this is not the place - the resort is far away from everything else on the island, so you will spend your time sat in the restaurant/bar/shack eating good food, drinking reasonably priced booze, and perhaps being adventurous enough to lie in one of the many hammocks, pet one of the many dogs, paddle in the sea, or possibly even go to the shop at the end of the pier. If you really go stir crazy, you can walk across the island to another beach and hang out there for a while. The whole set up is functional but not luxurious, the staff are friendly but not over-attentive, and the facilities are minimal but not spartan. If you're happy to go switch off for a few days, it's a great place.

Review 127:Isolated location meant there was little to do, apart from relaxing, kayaking or walking nearby. Boat ride was 3.5 hours and not so comfortable. Limited access to power & no WiFi, so if that's bothersome, it's not the place for you.

Review 128:Very peaceful. Quite a pretty location. Bungalow was cheaper than elsewhere. Food was generally good. Got to know some good people.

Review 129:Everything was great!

Review 130:The manager, Rick, is a really friendly a chatty guy from the Netherlands. Have a beer, or two, with the lad and listen to his stories! It's a good thing that The Palm Beach Resort don't have wi-fi because then you have the opportunity to talk to each other and make new friends. After the electricity is turned off (11 pm) you can take a swim in the plankton that glows in the dark. It's magical! We actually had our best stay in Cambodia here at Palm Beach! It's amazing!

Review 131:I didn´t go to the bungalows because when I arrived to Koh Rong, after paying u$15, I found out that to get to the bungalows I have to pay u$30 for a boat to take me there (for each time I want to move from the resort). This is not clear when you book, and I felt very bad, because I really wanted to go to that resort. And I know that they will charge the cancellation no matter what I say.
