Hotel Caporal has been in the family and open to the public since 1860. Set in the heart of Minori, it is 150 feet from the Villa Romana Museum and just a few steps from the beach.
Rooms are bright and spacious, each one with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a TV. Every room has a private bathroom with slippers, toiletries and a hairdryer. Some rooms have a balcony.
A continental breakfast is served buffet style in the breakfast room, where you will find a newspaper on each table. The Caporal Hotel also has a 24-hour bar and a reading room with well-stocked library.
Buses to Positano, Ravello and Amalfi stop right in front of the hotel. The pier for boats to the island of Capri is just 50 feet away.

Review 1：We only have one complaint. The taxi booked from this hotel to the Positano hotel asked us for 150 euros which was way too much. We finally paid 100 euros. This was not mentioned to us at the time of booking by the hotel.

Review 2：Everything was top notch. Location was super, right next to the beach and in the main town square where all the shops and cafes are located. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Review 3：The facilities definitely needs an upgrade. Rooms (and in particular the showers) are incredibly tiny (even for Italy). Can't control air-conditioning.

Review 9：We needed a nice and inexpensive place to stay near the Amalfi coast. Our room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Owner was very hospitable. It was just meters from the beach in the quaint town of Amalfi. The Hotel Owner recommended LaBotte restaurant just a few minute walk away - not only was it affordable with generous hospitality, but it was one of our best meals in Italy!

Review 10：I stayed at the Hotel Caporal for 3 nights. After cycling from Palinuro to the Coast and seeing most of the towns, Minori is definitely a great base if you prefer a quieter place to stay. It's not as crowded and busy as Amalfi and Positano etc and has a lovely beach of its own. You can easily get anywhere along the Coast by bus, bike, ferry (e.g. Capri) or even walking. Hotel Caporal is a family run B&B. It's basic (bed, tv, continental breakfast, air conditioning), so if you're looking for fancy, you may prefer elsewhere. It's run by a lovely family who were more than helpful in providing local advice when I needed it and as there wasn't a laundromat in town, they also did some laundry for me (for a fee) and I was given a nice lemon as a parting gift! It was clean and in a great location - minutes walk to eateries, amenities, buses, ferries, the beach and hiking areas, which for me were the most important things. I would definitely stay here again.

Review 20：Very well located, Very Clean and Helpful Staff. Typical Italian with very pleasant and helpful hosts. Our room was very large with a balcony to the rear and spacious ensuite shower room. Continental breakfast was more than adequate.

Review 25：This hotel was very good value for money in a lovely spot. The family who run it are very nice people and the lemon cake offered for breakfast was extra delicious. It was very clean. Minori is much nicer than Amalfi. The townspeople are very warm and welcoming. The scenery was spectacular.
