Review 2:The staff are the most delightful people! So helpful and friendly! Our flight was delayed, we arranged with them a transfer and they waited for us which was a huge relief at 2am! Beautiful room in a medieval building.
Review 3:The steep stairs which are a part of the building (a 16:th century one) and not much to do about.
Review 4:The sort of place where you notice that someone has really thought of what you may need, or what could make your stay more comfortable. Antonella and her husband were really helpful and such nice people and told us to feel at home. Staying in the middle of the historic center, and still have a quiet night is also something rare. Don't drive all the way, the streets are very narrow, but give them a phone call (or a sms) in advance, and they will help you find the best way to park.
Review 5:We were delighted at the welcome. Gaietano and Antonella are friendly, helpful and aimable. You are like at home really. Super location of the apart. Parking free. Beautiful city and the beaches around too. Respect for them. Tank you vety much...
Review 6:We are really at a loss to reconcile the reviews of Sassari-In B&B with what we actually experienced. The inn is in the center of the old quarter of Sassari where, not surprisingly, the streets are narrow and buildings are very old. The B&B is in one of these, said to date from 1700’s or 1800’s, and apparently has not had much maintenance during that time. The entry foyer and the stairway are wrecks, with portions of the walls broken away. My wife found them scary. The B&B is on the second floor; the first floor of the building appears to be abandoned – doors locked with chains and padlocks, windows to the street with no glass. (We regret that we did not take pictures of all this.) Our room had only one small table; the door handle came off in my hand when I tried to pull the door shut. We walked the area in a vain attempt at finding a restaurant. Parking a car on the narrow streets (just about two-cars wide) was not an inviting prospect. To be sure, the people who run the B&B were extremely friendly; we have absolutely no quibble on that point. But during our brief stay, there was no one else visible in the B&B and the hosts apparently do not live there. But taken as a whole – the building, the area – the situation was so depressing, we decided to leave forthwith. We left the full payment in cash for our reserved stay on the table with the key and departed. Maybe, after years of traveling, we have become accustomed to a certain standard of accommodation that the Sassari-In did not meet. Judging by the reviews, others might not agree. So be it.
Review 7:Great location and supercool hosts. They invited me for a beer, showed me their (beautiful) town of Sassari and introduced me to some friends. What more could you expect of one night? Location is not easy to find, but the hosts offer you a shuttle. Ciao.
Review 8:The building was hard to find and not easy to park, although a space was reserved for me which was kind. The outside of the building might be off putting but inside is nice.
Review 9:The owner is lovely and the room was nice.
Review 10:Everything was great!
Review 11:The owners are fantastic! We were collected at the train station and told all about the city. Antonella and her husband are so friendly and funny. I wish we could have stayed longer.
Review 12:The room was big and airy, the bathroom pleasantly spacious completely renovated and with a fantastic shower. But the real charm of the place is to meet the host, Gaetano and Antonella who will give you an overwhelming welcome and a real insight of how is the real Sassarese family.
Review 13:The owners are most amiable people, welcomed us heartily and made us feel at home. The breakfast of fresh cappuccino and fresh croissants, yogurts and Nutella was perfect. The rooms are clean and face a quiet street near to the city centre.
Review 14:Very clean and comfortable. Great location right in the heart of the old town. Very friendly and helpful owners.
Review 15:The people were fantastic! So friendly and helpful! The location is in the middle of the area for food, shopping, bars, and entertainment.
Review 16:Thanks to our wonderful hosts we had the best stay of our holiday! we especially liked the warm welcome and the drive in the Fiat Panda!
Review 17:no lift, no parking, breakfast can be improved
Review 18:position and radio in the shower!
Review 19:It was amazing. Owners were very nice and friendly. They always ready to help. The inn is authentic, romantic. Thanks a lot, it was unforgettable.
Review 20:Couldn't have asked for better hosts. Very welcoming, helpful with tips about Sassari and surroundings. And they prepared a tasty big breakfast!
Review 21:No private parking, you will need to find a parking in the street
Review 22:Good qality for price, good location in the historical center
Review 23:All you need to have a great time in Sassari is there :) This is one of the best B&Bs I have ever been to :) Clean, comfortable room designed with attention to detail, high-speed internet, air-conditioning and well equipped kitchen. Perfect location in a small street in the heart of Sassari's downtown - ideal spot to go out for a good drink, dinner or shopping in the break between tanning sessions on the beach... And the cherry on top is the outstanding hospitality of the owners- unforgettable :) I can recommend this place to everyone. It was amazing experience and I will come back here whenever I will be on Sardegna.

Review 25:The warm welcome and helpful advise. The breakfast had freshly squeezed orange juice which I love and it was great to interact with other travellers at breakfast. The room was quiet and comfortable and the shower was great.
Review 26:If you're planning to visit Sassari there is no better place to stay than Sassari-In. The owners will take care of you and help in anything you need.
Review 27:Some people will be put off by the clearly 17th or 18th century entrance way that has not been improved or restored. But reserve your judgment and just relax. Not for everyone, but if you want simple this is it.
Review 28:Very nice (wonderful) people. It's a pied-a-terre kind of facility not meant for long hours on site. Close to everything important and simple and not at all pretentious. Don't expect the Grand Hotel or even a typical hotel. Expect a clean room, attentive personal service, and friendliness.
Review 29:The wifi in my bedroom was not strong enough to connect.
Review 30:Perfect location, very nice hospitability from the owner. He even brought us by car to some locations!
Review 31:The owner Antonella is a very sweet person who takes care of visitors. Every morning she prepared cappuccino and fresh squeezed juice for the visitor. For the breakfast there was also fresh fruits and home made pies! The room was very clean and lightful and it was possible to vary the temperature of the room.
Review 32:An unforgettable experience. I was very well taken care of by the hostess and we spent a lot of time talking about many things mainly about Sardinia. I even picked up a few new Italian words from her.
Review 33:This B&B is great! It is very well located in a suprisingly vibrant city. We were called in the morning to ask if we came by car. Then, to our surprise, they called again near our arrival time to explain directions to one of the few free parking spots near the city center which they had guarded with their own car. A great gesture in hospitality. After entering the old Sardinian house, we were taken to our very big, very clean room which had a nice atmosphere. The bathroom was also very nice and included a fantastic massage shower. Breakfast included home-made cake and pie, and an excellent Italian cappuccino. Moreover, we had great talks (in English) with the owners in which all ins and outs of Sassari and its surroundings were explained and tips were given to make the most out of this awesome city. We would definitely recommend Sassari-In.It to anyone.
Review 34:This B&B is located in the heart of the old city, perfect for sightseeing and wandering the narrow alleys. Public parking nearby (0.50 euro cents/30 minutes). Antonella and her husband are very attentive, delightful hosts, offering to meet me in their car on the outskirts to guide me. The apartment (two guest rooms) is nicely appointed, with a kitchen.
Review 35:Parking could be a minor problem but it worked out for us.
Review 36:Great location and great staff. A true pleasure to stay
Review 37:Parking difficult (call the owners before coming. They will reserved you a place!)
