Reviews for Oyado Hayakawa
Review 1:Staff are very kind. Even they are not good at english but they try to speak, try to make us understand. The room is clean, comfortable and staff provide tea set for guests to drink. This ryokan is easy to access from train station, near convenient store. I recommend you guys to stay here! It's awesome!!
Review 2:Very nice owner and made us feel very comfortable. He drove us to an oscen on the other side of the town because it was a bit far to walk. A nice touch. Definitely will come back again.
Review 3:Nil
Review 4:The owner is very kind and helpful. There is no elevator in the hotel, but the owner helped us to take the luggage to/from the 3rd floor. He also dropped us to the railway station early in the morning.
Review 5:The family that run the property are extremely helpful and friendly. They provided us with a ride to the station. The location is very handy to all areas of the township.
Review 6:Nothing
Review 7:- The best ryokan experience i ever had. - Location is great, in the middle of kinosaki town - Staff are super polite and very heartwarming - Room is super big
Review 8:The decoration needs to be updated. The price could include one meal.
Review 9:The owners professionalism and simpathy. The garden is beautiful and location is perfect.
Review 10:The hotel is really outdated and in serious need of renovation. There is a strong smell of mold in parts of the hotel. The payments are cash only - this was an unpleasant surprise when we arrived at the hotel. Extra slow wifi. Far overpriced for is quality and services, have visited other hotels in Kinosaki before and compared to those, cannot really recommend this to anyone.
Review 11:Beautiful place in a great little quiet location off main road - rooms were authentic and really lovely as well as very helpful and friendly staff who took great care of us and were great with information.
Review 12:Wi-Fi internet highly restricted, Laptop would not work at all, smartphone couls access email via app. Facebook was the only internet site accessible. Viber and Skype could be used from Smartphone.
Review 13:Friendly staff, served tea on arrival, giant room with anti-room for cases with wardrobe, separate sitting area off bedroom. Futon beds were comfortable. Loved the "old world" décor. Quiet location. Owner drove us back to station.
Review 14:The free WiFi didn't work very good.
Review 15:This ryokan is a good place to stay in Kinosaki. It's close to the train station and most of the onsen (also none is more then 10 min walk away). The closest onsen is right around the corner. The owners are helpful and friendly, and even speak a little English. A lot of information material is available in English, too. We had the Superior Suite, which had a private toilet and bathroom (which isn't the case in all ryokan). It features a private onsen which you can use as a couple (which you can't in the public onsen). A free onsen pass is issued on check in. They offer free transfer from the station to the ryokan. It might be a good idea to book breakfast and dinner, since many restaurants in Kinosaki open late and close early. But there is a 7/11 close by where you can buy food and drinks. Kinosaki consideres itself one big ryokan, so you can walk around town in Yukata (which you get at your hotel). Oyada Hayakawa lets women choose two different styles. We enjoyed our stay there very much!
Review 16:The owners were s exceptionally sweet and went above and beyond to ensure my time there was restful and enjoyable. They were helpful with luggage, train information, local onsens, where to eat and local attractions. And each morning I would come down from my room or in from walking around would make me a nice hot cup of green tea.
Review 17:My toilet was not fully working (the shower was not working). Because it is a really old style Japanese building so when there was wind the windows made some noises.
Review 18:Location easy to find and far from the main street where yeah the wooden sandals walkers (Clackers). Very freindly staff and good onsen in place! It has a real old Japanese style looks and feel.
Review 19:nothing... everything was satisfactory.
Review 20:the staft was very kind and good. i did check-out early morning(6:30am), she took the effort to wake up early to make coffee and send me off. thanks
Review 21:Weak wifi in the room. Don't have a kettle in the room. Have to get hot water with a flask from counter. Should use better bag for guests to bring to onsen in public bath.
Review 22:Great location within 5 min by foot from the stn. Great service. Free usage of snow boots, yukata, umbrellas and clogs. Sent our bags to the station after check out. Communicate promptly by email on any queries.
Review 23:Our recent overnight stay in Kinosaki was one of the highlights of our Japanese holiday. We loved the traditional ryokan experience and the proximity to all the beautiful onsen the town has to offer.
Review 24:Nothing was bad! Perfection!
Review 25:The service and view from our room was amazing! We were pleasantly surprised what we got for our money. The private onsen was prefect for our mixed group as we were still uneasy about the larger onsens. The owners spoke little English but did everything possible to keep you from "feeling stupid". Will stay again!
Review 26:This hotel offers female guests the most beautiful decorated yukata of all Kinosaki, so you can feel like a japanese princess strolling along the canal! Excelent, quiet location in a small street right behind the canal, not far from the train station. Very spacious room with ensuite bathroom. Charming authentic decoration. So far the best futon beds we've had.
Review 27:I found it very comfortable with a nice view of courtyard with a 300 year old tree. Owners are very friendly and English ok. Great echos of the wooden shoes on the walks. Loved the fact that all the onzens were free with the room. I'll definitely stay there again next time with my family.
Review 28:The owner is very friendly and nice.
Review 29:Owners are very friendly. The Rooms are large. The location is excellent.
Review 30:very nice。I will go there with my mother again.
Review 31:Despite the lack of elevator, the aging couple managing the place helped us with the heavy luggage to the rooms.
Review 32:Kinosaki Onsen is a fabulous little town and we loved staying there. The hotel is central and the staff are great.
