Reviews for Hotel Settebello

Review 1:Poor breakfast in local fresh products. The continental breakfast seeker might not be satisfied by the breakfast offerings Parking place at additional cost

Review 2:Location. The hotel is located on the main road of Amalfi Coast, inside the little town of Minori. Amalfi town is just 4 km far away and the Ravello town is also nearby. Cleaness (but not quite planet friendly, one may think). The towels, and probably also the bed sheets, were changed every day Staff was available and helpfull

Review 3:Leaving

Review 4:The hilight of our 5 week holiday in Italy. Amazing location on the coast. Comfiest beds in all of Italy, delicious breakfasts, great free WiFi. But most importantly the wonderful family run atmosphere - always there to help. Went above and beyond.

Review 5:Nothing

Review 6:Minori is beautiful and wished we stayed longer - not as touristy as other towns on Amalfi Coast. Friendly family run hotel - great breakfast choices

Review 7:None at all.

Review 8:The staff of the hotel was very friendly and they allowed us to stay for couple of hours extra after check out time since we wanted a dip in the sea and needed our rooms to shower. The rooms are very comfortable and the location is amazing. If booked, go to the harbour in the morning during sunrise which is 2 mins walk from the hotel. Amazing.

Review 9:Our room is next to breakfast restaurant and facing a busy traffic road. We can hear very laud sound in very late nigh till 01:00, and sounds from restaurant because their staffs prepare breakfast in early morning.

Review 10:Easy to access hotel.

Review 11:The location is great, close to the beach, bus stop and restaurants.room is clean and comfortable+free air conditioner. staff is helpful and nice. Also very good breakfasts.

Review 12:The hotel looked like it was in the middle of refurbishing the hallway walls looked like they were unfinished and car parking was very expensive euro 15 per day

Review 13:The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location was perfect for visiting the Amalfi coast. The small village of Minori had all amenities and within easy reach of surrounding towns.

Review 14:Lack of mini bar, don't accept credit cards. The pillow and the noise from the other rooms, you hear all the noises of the hotel.

Review 15:The breakfast, the position, the cleanness, the personnel.

Review 16:The hotel is on intercity road where there is always some cars or vespas even in the late nighth. So if you have problem with sleeping in noise, you should think twice before booking.

Review 17:Great hosting. The host lady even borrowed their sun umbrella to us for beach. Wi-fi is very fast and it is nice to have a balcony.

Review 18:Really friendly staff, great attitude towards guests. Breakfast was delicious and you could eat as much as you wanted. Great location, the whole area is stunning and you could visit everywhere easily from Minori.

Review 19:Breakfast was poor. Very noisy from room - balcony shutter and traffic noisy. Room was basic.

Review 20:Owners hospitable. Room had walk on balcony. Excellent location, right next to SITA bus stop.

Review 21:Minori is smaller and less commercial than its neighbouring towns ,but full of character .situated in a small bay& With the Sambuco valley &a mountains behind.

Review 22:The staff is mostly kind, but some of them are abrupt. One owner didn't seem very helpful. Also, the balconies are right on the street which means gas fumes.

Review 23:The location

Review 24:-noisy street under the balcony

Review 25:-comfortable room with full equipment -kind hotel staff -sweet and salty breakfast with delicious cakes -modern tv in room -located close (5m) to bus stop for bus to Salerno

Review 26:Nothing at all.

Review 27:The staff is very friendly, the breakfast really super with fresh handmade Capachino. The really nice room has a balcony and from there you can see the sea.

Review 28:For a longer stay we would choose a more luxury hotel.

Review 29:The hotel and the furniture are rather old but clean and charming. The hotel has a garage with valet parking which was even free! The hotel keeper was very friendly and did all to accommodate our needs - he is a really old-school passionate hotelier. We asked for a room to the back and were given one, and he made us a personal fresh breakfast because we had to leave early to catch our flight back. A very big thank you!

Review 30:Not much to see close by, must pay extra for air conditioning.

Review 31:Loved the art work and sculptures inside the hotel. The staff were friendly, spacious rooms compared to others. Short walk to the beach and restaurants.

Review 32:- The wifi only worked in the lobby and my Wind data was Edge at best. - We were on the 2nd floor, the garage was above us, it made noise. Not wake you from a sound sleep noise, but moderately annoying. - We opted for an economy room, so we just had one window that faced a wall, about 2 meters away from the window. We put our friends in a standard room, it had a nice balcony facing the street. No view, but no bad street noise either. - Our friends facing the street were woken up every morning at 7am by construction. - Our friends don't speak Italian, the staff didn't seem to speak much English.

Review 33:- The staff were helpful, gave us tips on parking, getting around. - The beach is a 1 minute walk away - There was lots of street parking for a little less than the rate of the hotel lot (which is funny, b/c parking was a big reason we chose this hotel). Staff said in October, on weekdays parking is normally easy to find. This was true in all the towns we visited. - Everything was nice and clean - Changed sheets (I think) and towels daily. - Breakfast was pretty good. High quality cornetti, cereal, coffee (thermos style), tea, meats and cheeses, rolls, honey and nutella, yogurt. - The hotel is right on that main road that goes along the Amalfi Coast, connecting the towns. So easy to find and get going when we drove places. - The price was great and definitely a bargain. When we told our friends the total, they were like... you mean, per night. Couldn't believe how affordable it was. - I would recommend this hotel to anyone driving to Amalfi!

Review 34:Quality of toilet and bath. toilet leaking, towels low quality. breakfast starts a little late, for travelers, and very low choices.. parking was annoying, not to say galling.15 euro/day..I parked in the lot close to hotek, all night for 1/2 of the price,

Review 35:the location, as a connecting point to other sites in the area. close to parking lot/

Review 36:We had to leave! Cannot wait to return

Review 37:Everyone in Minori cares about customer service, very enjoyable hotel and town, glad we stayed here rather than Positano, Amalfi or Sorrento. You get more for your Euros. We will make more trips to Minori from our home in Rome!

Review 38:all is good!

Review 39:Friendly stuff Nice room, big bed, all in yellow-blue-white colours, good bathroom, big windows Near the sea + special offer in the beach for 2sunbed1umbrella = 10euro

Review 40:Good nice little hotel owned by a family that made it feel a little nicer because they were so kind to every guests. Good breakfast to be Italian.

Review 41:- good location, clean, good air conditioning, helpful staff, family run hotel therefore everybody was nice and always helpful, good size balcony with sea view ( on the side). good breakfast and "properly" served till 10:30. Will go again should we visit the area again.

Review 42:Wifi wasn't flash. Drops in and out. Can't get good sleep in as corridor noise comes into rooms a little.

Review 43:Staff- family run and sooo lovely. Also helped us organise day trip to capri. Location is wonderful- Minori is so much more local and quieter yet so close to the other towns which you can do the busy if you want.

Review 44:Lack of tea coffee facilities in room. Lack of Fresh milk and poor cereal selection. Lack of an iron for use by clients

Review 45:Friendly and helpful at all times

Review 46:WiFi is a little slow in the room

Review 47:hospitality of the staff, cleanness of the room and bathroom, and the location.

Review 48:You can hear hear trafic but earplugs handle it just fine

Review 49:Very kind and professional couple run the place. Great breakfast, comfortable beds.

Review 50:Friendly, gave great advice and great location.

Review 51:The air conditioning was not adjustable (set on auto) and it was too warm.

Review 52:I liked the location and they served an excellent breakfast.

Review 53:Location and staff. Good breakfast. Elevator

Review 54:The staff was excellent, very clean and helpful. The location was excellent, we were right near the beach and all the restaurants.

Review 55:Small back facing room, no fridge or coffee in room, dark

Review 56:Location, breakfast, friendly staff

Review 57:Everything was amazing! The staying, services, and the very friendly and the best personal! Thank you very much!

Review 58:It's close to the beach. Good value for money.

Review 59:great location, near the beach of Minori; large rooms, very frienly staff

Review 60:Excelent location and very friendly staff!

Review 61:There was no window to the street. We had to pay for Parking and it was expensive..

Review 62:Location and breakfast was very good.

Review 63:Great location

Review 64:Wifi not working in room 202

Review 65:excellent staff. Very warm and helpful

Review 66:Good position. Close to bus stop. Helpful staff.

Review 67:Expensive parking (15 €).

Review 68:Outstanding breakfast.

Review 69:Great location and a really nice hotel. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good

Review 70:No ironing facilities

Review 71:Friendly staff hotel near to all bars and restaurants.

Review 72:Wi fi is too poor, and don't work properly

Review 73:Location, breakfast

Review 74:Staff very friendly, easy to find, the included breakfast was great. For a family travelling and just wanting somewhere to sleep over night this was ideal, would go there again.

Review 75:The AC didn't work. Rooms are very humid. No good ventilation unless you leave your windows open to a no screen shower/patio etc ugly and with bugs. the other window in our room was door like open to the breakfast room so weird. Of course if your gonna leave your lugagge etc inthe room you have to close it and then is like a jail cell wwith no air /ventilation whatsoever. the longest night in Italy... Ahh... It looks better in pictures the bunk bed for two older children was so clumsy that the kids were afraid to move ...

Review 76:It's an average hotel. I wouldn't stay here again. Doesn't have anything special going on.

Review 77:The only reason I marked the facilities down was because of the lack of baby gear. No crib, high chairs, or boosters. Though, he offered to borrow a crib for us, we chose to bring our own pack-n-play. They would warm milk for you at anytime of day though. And this is very minor but the towels were pretty scratchy. Like they had been line dried without softener. If we stayed there again I would ask that they not replace the towels every day. They were soft once you used them the first time.

Review 78:The staff was amazing, very helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. There was always someone on duty who spoke English. When I called to see if they had a crib for the baby (unfortunately the answer was no) the manager offered to borrow one from his friend for us. We drove down and paid for parking in their garage. Only €15/night! Other hotels have free parking but they charge more for their rooms. And, it came with free valet service any time of day. That was a huge convenience considering parking in the area. The free breakfasts were great. The beach was less than a three minute walk away. And the bus stop was literally next door. The room was cleaned everyday which was a big deal with the sand getting tracked in all the time. Others have mentioned the street noise. We didn't opt to pay for air conditioning because it was May and not too hot. We just slept with the balcony door open. With it open we could, of course, hear the noise but we all had no trouble sleeping through it, even the baby. The extra long bed was comfortable even for my 6'3" husband. And the room, while not overly spacious, was large enough for all four of us to be very comfortable even with all of our gear and the pack-n-play set up. We had our two small children (ages 5 and 1) with us and they had plenty of room to play. The price for our family of four was a great value and I loved that the extras like the parking and ac were optional. No need to pay for something you're not going to use.

Review 79:Noise from traffic especially motorcyclist s . Rooms upfront were too close to street

Review 80:Great place great staff family owned business magnificent location

Review 81:Everything is nice.

Review 82:The hotel is situated very close to the beach and sita busstop. The host is very lovely - our room was very clean and we had a nice balcony with view to the sea. We will with pleasure stay at this hotel again.

Review 83:The staff were very friendly and we were made very welcome. Good size clean room with a lovely bathroom decorated in beautiful ceramic tiles. The shower was large and powerful and plenty of good quality towels were provided. A nice touch was the individual guest boxes containing shower gel etc. Our tastefully decorated room had a little balcony with sea view, plenty of wardrobe space and a TV. Parking is not possible at the hotel but you can stop right outside to unload and check in and a member of staff will park your car for you. The same system applies when leaving with the car being brought to the hotel for you, it works very well. In the evening we had a nightcap and friendly chat with the proprietor at the bar before enjoying a good nights sleep in the comfortable roomy bed.

Review 84:the cheapest rooms are unsuccessful and there is no view from the window

Review 85:A good choice for the money. Not far from the sea. Very tasty breakfasts. There are plenty to choose from. Internet is free in the room.

Review 86:Breakfast is amazing: tasty and varied. Every day there were different kind of cakes, fruits, cookies besides main couse. Staff is very personal, helpfull and friendly. This lovely family helped me to find tennis trainer (there is tennis cort near the sea). There's a human touch to everything. There's a lot of warmth. Location is great, several minutes to the sea. Minori is one of the most beautiful places in the world! We had room with balcony with table and chairs. Air conditioning is available and free of charge. There was refrigerator with different drinks. Rooms are cleaned every day. Many thanks to the owners!

Review 87:Staff in the reception was a bit inattentive. The "private"beach is shared with a lot of other hotels and other guests, and we weretold someone else had dibs on the sunbeds closest to the water, whichwas a bit annoying.

Review 88:Location is good - just a short walk down the main road to the beachand the room (and hotel) was kept very clean by the great housekeepingstaff - not always easy when you're talking about a hotel mainlyfor beach guests..

Review 89:Road noise loud until 1 or 2 in the morning. No balcony It says you can have breakfast on the sunny terrace but all there is there are cleaning products, no tables or chairs. Restaurant in the hotel was never open when we stayed. Staff waking us up to open sun blind. Air conditioning not switched on so could not use it.

Review 90:The hotel is close to the harbour and small beach of minori. The breakfast had a good selection and tasty. Minori is a lovely place.

Review 91:There is no view to the beach (but it means more quiet) and the room is small.

Review 92:The breakfast is really good compare to other hotels, the stuff is really nice.

Review 93:There was nothing about our stay we didn't like, it was perfect.

Review 94:The bed and breakfast was perfect, very friendly and helpful, located in the heart of minori, very close to the harbor and bars which is situated on a beautiful plaza, within walking distance to miori the next town

Review 95:Smell was nice at the beginning but then once you use the washroom the smell got a bit dank. Balcony doors were not sound proof, noise from the street a little loud when trucks went by.

Review 96:-Owners/ reception were very nice and welcoming -Comfortable beds

Review 97:Close to communal terrace which was a bit noisy with other residents

Review 98:Really lovely staff. Nice Rooms. Great location close to the sea. Decent breakfast

Review 99:The staffs here are very kind. The room is big and clean. The hotel is very close to the beach and the bus stop is just outside, don't even mention the price. The hotel is your first choice.

Review 100:Very friendly and helpfull staff. Good size rooms at very good price. Very close to Ravello and Amalfi. Parking not so far from the hotel (150 m). Booking easy & safe.

Review 101:Location (good parking) Excellent breakfast Staff: Family helped us when we had some problems with car (helped us to find the service and drive our car to the service without our involvement - so we had more time to see these beautifully towns) A lot of thanks to them

Review 102:Since our room was facing the street we did have a problem with streetnoice and the lights from outside were a problem. We couldn't getthe outside shades down. We didn't bother the staff because we wereready for bed and didn't want to deal with it. Next time I wouldcheck it out ahead of time .

Review 103:This was so quaint and comforting. An American size shower so you canactually move around! A great view from our window onto the street andsome water view. Super friendly owner and staff. Great breakfast buffetand a nice sized dining room. When we told the owner our mini fridgewasn't working it was immediately replaced. The hotel was clean, andwe would definitely go back .

Review 104:Friendly, informative staff. Very clean and good breakfasts. Great location.

Review 105:Hospitallity and availability of all the personal to help and serve the guests.

Review 106:Expensive parking fee: 15 euro/night

Review 107:Polite staff, delicious breakfast with Italian pastry

The Fine Print
