Situated 30 feet from the water’s edge and 2 minutes’ walk from Tatlows Beach, The Ark Stanley offers luxury suites with free WiFi, a flat-screen TV and DVD player. Guests receive a welcoming pack of chocolates, biscuits, tea and coffee.
The Ark Stanley Guest House is 2 minutes’ drive from The Nut State Reserve and 5 minutes’ walk from Stanley Seaquarium. The Highfield Historic Site is 4 minutes’ drive away.
Each air-conditioned suite features an en suite bathroom with a heated towel rail. Some bathrooms also feature a heated pebble floor or a massage shower. A wrought iron dining setting and quality bed linen and toiletries are provided in all suites.

Sounds like there are some lovely spacious suites which unfortunately i wasn't aware of and would have preferred. Stanley is a lovely town to visit.
Review 8：I bought the accommodation as a thank you gift for a couple. They LOVED it and rang as soon as they got home just raving about it. They loved the location and the eclectic nature of the furnishings. They also liked the letter they received prior to their arrival and a welcome they received from a lady working there (cleaner?) Thank you so much for looking after my sister and her husband.
Review 9：Wow! The host phoned us to make sure we knew where to get the key as she wouldn't be there. We walked in and it was PERFECT! There were little chocolates, umbrellas, hair straightener, coffee pods. All those little comforts you miss while you're travelling. Very comfortAble and well decorated. Just perfect!!!

Review 14：Location, warm welcome by your hosts Rhonda and Christer, stunning rooms and bathrooms with high end style and design. Everything has been thought of, from luxurious linens and towels, Royal Doulton glasses, cheese board etc. Gorgeous bathroom with double shower. The location of the Ark Stanley is sublime, you are so close to the water you can almost touch it, great location to be able to walk into town for dinner. We stayed in the Belvedere room and it was perfect. Breakfast was excellent, Rhonda goes to a great deal of effort with her home made jams, spreads and yogurts.

Owners left a note to say that they wouldn't be there, but recommended restaurants to eat at. We were very pleased with their recommendation of Xanders in Church Street which was excellent. Also the Brown Dog Cafe was great with very good home made cakes and coffee.

Review 86：This was my favourite accomodation on our Tasmania trip. The house is stunning and we had an amazing view from our room. I loved everything about the interior of our room- a great mix of old and new. The bathroom was beautiful- loved the double shower and the towels. The personal touches made the room so special- cheeseboard and knife, great selection of teas, bodum double walled glasses and a cookie jar. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. I only wish we had stayed longer
