Reviews for Alaba Hotel
Review 1:There is no internet. There was no flexibility about an early breakfast to catch an early flight. We we were not given the room which was described in the booking and due to language difficulties were unable to resolve this
Review 2:The hotel is clean and well situated
Review 3:The fact that guests had to pay for beach towels in a beach town. First time in all of my travel experiences that this happened. Vacuuming at 8am next to our room. Breakfast service sounded like a wedding banquet outside of our room. King bed was two single beds pushed together. Both beds would shift in the middle of the night because the base was not proper.
Review 4:Cleanliness. Proximity to the beach and restaurants.
Review 5:There's no parking lot (you have to park on the street, a few vlocks away). They didn`t negociate a late check out.
Review 6:Good breakfast, good location.
Review 7:Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and we managed to understand each other very well - but the staff do not really speak any English. My personal view is that this shouldn't be an expectation but I appreciate that it might be a concern for some guests.
Review 8:Very close to the seafront, everything is brand new, very very clean, lovely continental breakfast, friendly staff, close to the town centre and all the activity but far enough away to be quiet for a good nights sleep! We were there during Cous Cous festival (Mid late sept) and there was a fantastic atmosphere in the town! Has onsite parking but there is free parking nearby also.
Review 9:Parking was an issue. As soon as we arrived the receptionist (who spoke and understood very little English) told us we couldn't park outside and had to move our car to a pay and display car park 10 minutes walk away. We tried to explain that we had already asked the parking warden and he had given us a written ticket for 1 hour free outside the hotel so we could unload our bags, but she insisted we moved immediately and then returned to check in. The staff were pleasant enough, but didn't seem to take much interest in the guests unlike some of the family run hotels b&b's we stayed at.
Review 10:The room was clean and comfortable but I personally did not think it was worth over £100 per night. It was similar to a travel lodge and so £109 seemed quite pricey.
Review 11:Staff only speak Italian, no laundry service, limited breakfast only and no other amenities beyond a simple but modern and clean room. No views.
Review 12:Clean, great location for beach access, WiFi, off street parking (extra fee), A/C, some rooms have balconies.
Review 13:The location of the hotel near the beach. The kind people from the stuff.
Review 14:Very clean, cozy hotel.
Review 15:The room was small.
Review 16:The room was nice and clean.
Review 17:My husband and I are seasoned travellers and very used to a variety of different hotel room. Our main issues in this case were two fold: 1) The room we were given was on the bottom floor very close to the breakfast area so we had loud noise from vacuuming outside the door at 8am and from people breakfasting from 7.30am. 2) The room was like a very small box - it was clean but clinical and very small. The other problem we had was the parking. In the description if says Public Parking available nearby - however it was actually about a 10 min walk away from the hotel - in a paddock - making us fairly concerned about the welfare of our car.
Review 18:Great location with only a 3 min walk to the beach. Lovely beach. Nice hotel staff.
Review 19:The fact that it isn't as soundproofed as it states, but you wouldn't get any better anywhere else as this is of typical italian hotels.
Review 20:Lovely friendly family who will do anything to make your stay with them an enjoyable one. Very trendy and clean hotel with spacious rooms and 2 min walk from the beach, also close to lots of restaurants and main streets of san vito lo capo.
Review 21:Like almost all Italian hotels the rooms are not noisefree. You can hearthe neighbours attendng their bathroom.
Review 22:Very nice modern boutique hotel run by lovely family. Extremely cleanrooms. Set only 50 meters from the beautiful beach. Good price quality.Easy to park near the hotel in preseason.
Review 23:Personal speaks no English.
Review 24:Breakfast was OK, beach not far away and very nice. Nice restaurants in the city.
Review 25:Nice modern hotel. Very lovely and helpful staff.
Review 26:It was a bit hard to communicate since they cannot speak English well.
Review 27:The staffs were really friendly and tried their best make our travel nicer.
