Reviews for B&B Piazza Italia 32

Review 1:We couldn't sleep as loud noise from the piazza carried on until 3:30am then started again at 5am. The bed was very saggy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was across the hall and was tiny with a tiny shower. This is not really a B&B - there is no staff other than at check in and breakfast of only one hot drink and one pastry is provided by voucher at a nearby cafe.

Review 2:Access to the old town was great. It's a good price. The bedroom was very large with high painted ceilings. The room had a couch. The free wifi worked in the room.

Review 3:The room lacked basic services like drinkeable water, a small fridge, shampoo and soap. The staff seemed annoyed because we arrived just 10 minutes before the final check-in time.

Review 4:The location was perfect, and the small breakfast that we got with a coupon, at a terrace at Piazza Italia was nice.

Review 5:Horribale service-NO ENGLISH STAFF, no free parking about 1km around, 2girls was staying out beacuse they late for 20min (have to stay for 2night) calling 100time nobody was answer... Never again

Review 6:Location and old house was fantastic

Review 7:There is NO PARKING: it's only street parking and it was hard to find any nearby. No insulation: heard people partying outside until 3am, as well as 2am sex from the guests next door. The bathroom is ACROSS THE HALL, not inside the room. The shower is so small the curtain will stick to you. Wifi was not working 1 of 3 days of our stay. Overall, bad value for the money. Checkout at 10am, but can't check in until 5pm.

Review 8:Beautiful architecture, high ceilings. Very central location, nice view out the window. Friendly staff, but no English spoken.

Review 9:If you have rented a car then parking is a nightmare. We parked in the blue spaces which are pay from 9.00 am to 8.00 pm, so we ended up paying 1 euro until 10 am and returning around 7 pm paid another 1 euro. So doing it that way is not difficult.

Review 10:A well-placed central B&B, walking distance to places of interest and right on the square.

Review 11:check in was supposed to be between 5 and 8 pm. At 5 nobody was there. When we called, the lady told us she could only make it at 7 pm.

Review 12:beautiful old building location charming rooms

Review 13:The private toilet on the corridor. Very far on foot from the bus station.

Review 14:The BB can be found at tha main square of the city. The painting on the ceiling.

Review 15:it was very loud in the night (the room to piazza italia) from saturday to sunday. children don't get a drink for breakfast, although it should be included. the bed was broken.

Review 16:it's in the center of sassari, all the cafes and shops are closed.

Review 17:The staff of the Café where we got our breakfest, was very unkind, the most unfriendly people we met in sardigna.

Review 18:The room and the staff, a very kind woman, were top.

Review 19:The ramp for the steps is very steep and it makes it very difficult and dangerous to manoeuvre a pram. The front door and room keys were almost impossible to use. Makes returning to the room quite stressful

Review 20:We arrived very late for check in and they waited very patiently. Fantastic location,a very old palazzo and rooms full of character

Review 21:This B&B is perfectly situated in Sassari, on the main nicest place of the city. The rooms are big with high ceiling as the house dates back to the 19th century. All is nice except the breakfast that is served in a bar next door ( we get 1 cafe + 1 brioche) which is ok but a little disappointing for a B&B

Review 22:Small shared bathroom Only Italian spoken

Review 23:Premium location right on the Piazza Italia Baroque rooms with high ceilings and period features Low price

Review 24:If you prefer to sleep at night avoid the rooms facing the closed square. Around midnight the guys started playing ball outside, followed around 5AM by a cleaning truck - think of a tank passing under your windows every few minutes. By 6AM was replaced by the early mopeds. The breakfast drink is just coffee, for children one have to pay extra.

Review 25:Classy, clean rooms with decent beds in an excellent location in a central square, surrounded by bars and cafes. The Booking.com phone number is not correct but we managed to get at the address and call the number on the door. A very helpful lady was waiting for us.

Review 26:Breakfast was included in the price and we were told to go to the cafe across the road - the owner there told us the only option was coffee and a croissant - we asked if the children (aged 9 and 13) could have an alternative drink and he refused and said we would have to pay extra if they wouldn't drink coffee! The owner left after we checked in which was fine, but then there was nobody there in the morning to deal with this problem - I did leave a note as I was quite angry - the man in the cafe was very rude and I'm afraid it spoiled out experience. For 98Euro I would expect a better breakfast service.

Review 27:The rooms were lovely. The owner was very pleasant

Review 28:Breakfast was scarce and without variety.

Review 29:The staff was very kind

Review 30:no soap in the bathroom

Review 31:location wifi

Review 32:Shower was in a separate part of building down a shared corridor. No soaps or shampoos.

Review 33:Fantastic location. Very noisy - didn't bother us but could be a problem if you need silence to sleep. Dramatic room with lots of character and antique furniture. Bargain!

Review 34:Cheap breakfast. Cafe wouldn't let my kids have an orange, instead of a coffee which was included as part of the deal. Bit pathetic.

Review 35:Beautiful rooms, great location, decent price

Review 36:terrible wifi connection (not signal but the connection to the internet) pseudo-shared bathroom and toilets (one room divided by something like cartoon desk)

Review 37:near the center

Review 38:It was terribly cold, the heatening system switches on only at 5 and at 21 it switched off, the bathroom was out of the room we had to go to the corridor of the hotel the hotel, only from there was a door to our "personal" bathroom. And it was extremly noisy as i heard every word said in another room, in the morning at 6 the square was cleaned by VERY noisy machines, so it was impossible to sleep.

Review 39:Bed too firm, noisy at night, parking is problematic: it is not easy to find a free spot

Review 40:Good location, clean, breakfast: crosant and coffee (dont expect more:-) the room was as in the picture, nice furniture

Review 41:Bathroom was a bit small, given the restrictions of the historic building. Breakfast was the typical Italian breakfast in the bar next door: Coffee and croissant.

Review 42:perfect location on the main square, nice old building, rooms are nice with high ceiling.

Review 43:she doesn't speack very well english, but it was not a big problem.

Review 44:Very nice place, in the center of Sassari with all commodities, close to the park, transports, shops. Wi-fi is included. The woman who made check-in is very nice and friendly.

Review 45:For first time immediately reservation via internet it wasn´t so clear where the BB were situated in Sassari and communication wasnt so good too.But finally BB was situated in the centre at Piazza d´Italia.

Review 46:Very nice equipped and romanticly decorated near center and in case of problem, stuff is here.Towels every day in the price. We also liked the breakfast, so delicious.

Review 47:There was not hot water in the shower, even after we let it flow for various minutes...

Review 48:The location is awesome, the staff superb, decorations are impressive.

Review 49:We booked a twin bed room but they only have doubles. A communication problem in English. The cafe breakfast is very basic which we class as poor and insufficient,

Review 50:The location and the lovely old building with great wifi.

Review 51:The bathroom is super small and we had a flooding as the curtain coveredthe water outflow. The window went into a yard and we were afraid tohave our things stolen if we were to leave it open. The air was hence abit stuffy. But these are minor things.

Review 52:One night in an old Italian city room with high ceilings, darkwooden furniture and much charm, right in the center of town -whatto expect more?!!

Review 53:Breakfast is at a cafe round the corner and consists of a croissant and coffee, so if you're hungry, you'll stay hungry. Check in time was only between specific hours and there is no one around outside of this. Saying that, the owner will arrange additional times to check in IF you pre-arrange. I personally couldn't get the TV to work but who needs TV anyway!

Review 54:The location in the Piazza was great because it's very central, really pretty and the building is architecturally beautiful - it is quite noisy if you are on the front of the building though as the locals all congregate in the square in the evening and there is a karaoke place nearby (which is actually quite funny as I didn't recognise a single song) - this didn't put me off though as it's so pretty and you hardly notice it once the window is closed. The room was huge and the facilities were good. I would stay here again if I was back in Sassari

Review 55:The location is great. Beware that there are two Bed & Breakfasts at Piazza Italia, so pay attention to the number at your B & B :-) The wifi is great, you just have to ask them to turn it on..... The bathroom was new and clean. It was not hard to find the cafe around the corner (in via Roma) where we got breakfast; coffie, cake and orange juice. All in all we really enjoyed staying in Sassari, not many tourists, lovely arcitecture and great food.

Review 56:We waited 5 hours in front of the B&B for them to arrive and let usin (even though on booking.com, it was written:"Please let theproperty know your expected arrival time in advance." I wish theywould have contacted us at the time of booking when they saw we werearriving before 5pm aka their opening time, to let us know nobody wouldhave been on site...we definitely would have booked somewhere else. Wejust wanted to leave our luggage somewhere until we could check-inofficially at 5pm, but we didn't know there was no presence thereuntil 5pm. Also, the breakfast is served at a café across the Piazza, great cafe, (great staff that helped us try to contact the B&B theday before when we were waiting for them to open)...when it'sopened. Our flight was early so we went to have breakfast at 8am but thecafe was closed. Other than that, the B&B is great, just make sureyou arrive after 5pm, and if you want to have breakfast, don't be ina rush to check out early.

Review 57:Great big room, great location, staff was nice and helpful, very clean, and quiet, even if it is on the Piazza.

Review 58:This B&B has great potential, yet I can't help but feel its opening was rushed. There were problems with the plumbing, which meant check-in was hours later than planned (while it was being fixed). The bathroom was extremely small anyway. Despite the amenity being listed, there was no internet access. There was no on-site staff. An extra blanket would have been good, since the room was cold. Importantly, we got a voucher for breakfast at what was supposed to be a nearby cafe. With no address listed, we scanned most of Via Roma but weren't able to find it. A chance missed...

Review 59:The location was good. The room was clean. The B&B was located in a beautiful old building.

Review 60:The room smelled of humidity, not very pleasant, like in a cellar

Review 61:Bathroom quite old and really narrow, not so confortable

Review 62:Rooms are nice, also position excellent for the city

Review 63:Breakfast inadequate.

Review 64:Location

Review 65:It was dirty. There was spiders in the small bathroom. We couldn t have a shower because there was not hot water.

Review 66:La ubicacion

Review 67:excellent location, beautiful old building by the square with very good room and furniture

Review 68:Noisy room off the square, also the heat didn't work so we were very cold at night to sleep.

Review 69:Location, very friendly staff,

Review 70:difficult for parking

Review 71:central place of the city

Review 72:The staff was very friedly and attentive to cleanness and comfort, exquisite behaviour of the ladies attending, thank you Gianfranca and Fabiola

Review 73:No wifi as advertised. unhelpful staff, no hot water, toilet broken for 2 days
