Reviews for Hotel Palazzo del Corso & DolceVita Restaurant
Review 1:The only negative was the size of the pool which basically was just for show and not practical. More of a pond.
Review 2:The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were spacious with good facilities. The balcony was fine although the view was not up to much. The location was good being only a few hundred metres from the old town.
Review 3:Nothing everything was enjoyable
Review 4:Very high class hotel where all the staff were friendly and very helpful. There was a free bus service to the nearby beach which was very good.
Review 5:Poor value for money. Booked grand suite with original frescoes and two bathrooms. Allocated deluxe suite- very modern with one shower room. Although it was apparently the same price it was not what I had booked. Shower was very small and not five star. Gym was very poor- the running machine broke down on me. Suite had mezzanine which was of no use. We also booked a standard room for our family at substantially less which was just as good. The suite was not worth the extr cost. Regret booking this place.
Review 6:Comfortable bed and good breakfast.
Review 7:It's a city hotel, so no beach or garden, which is a shame but should not be expected, given its central location.
Review 8:This place is a gem of Gallipoli. Locals refer to it as the only true 5* hotel in Gallipoli. Staff are top notch. So is everything that is to do with this property.
Review 9:Very narrow shower tubs; poor wireless everywhere. We stayed in roomCorallo and suffered from the noise of the waiters collecting tables at the closing time of the restaurant.
Review 10:Friendly and smiling staff. Great location and wonderful roof bar. Food is great in the restaurant.
Review 11:Wonderful location with extremely kind staff, delicious breakfast, beautiful beaches around Gallipoli, lots of historic places to visit around like the town of Lecce.
Review 12:The bath room is small and the shower faucet is in the way dint live u room to move. The steps to the bathroom not comfortable.
Review 13:Room was nice and clean. Breakfast good beautiful dining facility.
Review 14:Took a very long time to get any hot water!
Review 15:Location, public amenities, restaurant/pool terrace, free parking(but might not be limited at peak times)
Review 16:Internet connection was a bit scattered and not enough plugs in the bedroom next to the bed. With some many devices can be a problem
Review 17:We stayed in Gallipoli the second week of August a very popular period in Southern Italy. Even though the hotel was fully booked everything was perfect from the service the food the staff. Amazing stay!!!!! Breakfast is an experience. Healthy and super tasty with every day different handmade cakes. Dinner as well was super nice, beautiful terrace. Room was very good to we were in the Topazio. Thank you to all staff and hopefully see u soon
Review 18:Staff were 1st class. Breakfast was excellent. Drinks from bar very good . We loved going to roof terrace for drinks . Overall I would give this hotel10/10
Review 19:* The location is not in the historic centre of Gallipoli however it is a short 5 minute walk to the old town. Having said that, there did not appear to be any hotels of this standard within the old town.
Review 20:* Friendly staff offered helpful service throughout our stay, helping with restaurant recommendations, printing boarding passes, parking our car in their parking area (they had to move their cars a couple of times) * Good wifi though there was a minor outage for a couple of hours one evening. It was fixed that night though. * Nice big rooms with big bed and nice size bathroom. The rooms were fairly simple but definitely comfortable. * Beautiful roof terrace where it is possible to take a drink, or breakfast or a meal. * Sky television with English channels and English audio options
Review 21:Having to leave!
Review 22:Everything. The staff are amazing , nothing is too much trouble for them , and the food is a delight. I loved lounging around on the veranda watching the sun go down while sipping mojitos.

Review 29:The towels are miles away from the shower
Review 30:The Terrace and location
Review 31:No instructions for obtaining tv channels in English...
Review 32:Great location, very helpful staff.
Review 33:Better wifi in the room
Review 34:Hotel staff is excellent. Hotel pool and patio excellent. Hotel rooms are clean and adequate.

Review 37:We love everything
Review 38:Logging in to wifi every time I wanted to use it.
Review 39:Very beautiful clean hotel with excellent staff. Superb breakfast on a lovely roof terrace. Great free bus service to the most beautiful beach.
Review 40:Bathroom with only average shower and no bath.
Review 41:Small boutique hotel (14 rooms). Bedroom with small balcony excellent.Breakfast fine on wonderful terrace. Small terrace pool with jacuzzi. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient with nothing too much trouble. 5 minutes walk too old town restaurants.
Review 42:Room described as Grand Suite not really that large. It had an upper floor with a spare bed which we didn't need. Would have liked more of a sitting area. No bathtub.
Review 43:Good location on main shopping street a short walk from old town. Easy to reach with parking available. Lovely rooftop terrace with small pool and bar service and lots of comfy loungers and tables. Unfortunately for us the weather wasn't great so we didn't spend as much time up there as we otherwise would have. Very good restaurant Friendly, helpful staff
Review 44:There was nothing to dislike
Review 45:The room was large and comfortable with a sea view (over the local Carabinaire office) and it was a short walk to the old town. The rooftop terrace was a wonderful place for a drink, for an excellent (if expensive) dinner and a great breakfast. Parking was good.
Review 46:The roof top pool is very cold even on a hot October day.
Review 47:The rooms are spacious and luxurious and the terrace bar is a nice way to start or round off your evening. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the old town where there are a number of restaurants. We were very well looked after by Luca on the front desk. Thank you.
Review 48:Beautiful boutique hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms and a feel of understated luxury throughout. Very helpful , professional staff and a gourmet restaurant that we highly recommend. Lovely breakfast served stylishly on crisp, white linens. Sandra and Stephen , Malta
Review 49:Small bathroom, no views, noisy corridor. Expensive breakfast (we opted out)
Review 50:Nice small pool with good poolside furniture. Comfortable bed. Convenient to Gallipoli old town. Free parking adjacent.
Review 51:Outside the season (mid april) the services (jacuzzi, bar, etc) notavailable. Advertised Wifi should be working correctly in all rooms.
Review 52:Style and decoration. Very nice suites. Helpful staff.
Review 53:The shower - it did not maintain a constant temperature and was never hot. We had a grand suite with a mezzanine which just held a sofa and you could not watch tv from it. We did not use the upstairs and felt it was not worth the extra money. Other suites may be a different layout.
Review 54:The staff were all welcoming and attentive. The rooftop terrace. The good choice at breakfast. Location - within a few minutes walk of old town and station. The room was very clean and comfortable.
Review 55:the staff are not helpful and do not have sufficient language skills to communicate needs - very bad on information, such as a money exchange facility, directions, precise information on locations etc .. the roof top bar was a disappointment, as there is no service after the breakfast time - it should have a " happy hour" type service from early afternoon to give it ambiance and to satisfy the clients ... again, the service is below average, as they lack language skills ... the only way I could communicate was in french to one server ... for the price and 5 star rating, the service needs to improve ... it is also a shame that the lobby is so uncomfortable and uninviting .... could not really enjoy that area of the hotel - parking should be free ....
Review 56:Nice location , roof top bar is nice for breakfast
Review 57:not a very good view on 1st floor. noise on the corridor, hearing conversation and people walking. No world tv (english, french..)
Review 58:staff very friendly and helpful + refreshment at the lobby
