Guests sleep in Japanese futon beds on tatami (woven-straw) floors or in Western rooms with beds and carpeted floors. Green tea can be enjoyed and each includes a flat-screen TV and a fridge. The private bathroom has a hairdryer and slippers.

Review 1：The outside onsen pretty far away from hotel. Difficult to go out on bad weather. (Especially it was snowing so badly we couldn't enjoy the outside onsen. There is also an indoor onsen but we prefer the water effect of the outside. Didn't know what they are for. But it feels better than the inside after soaking. They don't have a steam room.

Review 4：Breakfast and dinner are very delicious. The 百八步onsen is very good with open air and good view. There is shortcut to the nearest rope station 山頂線,which is very convenient for skiiing and sightseeing. The room is very clean and comfortable. Free pick up and transfer to the Zao Onsen bus station, and other ski rope station is available.

Review 5：Was given a smoking room when I requested non smoking, WiFi only works in lobby.

Review 17：There is no shuttle bus from Yamakata station to hotel as shown on the web. You have to take a bus that cost around 1000 Yen from Yamakata station to Zao bus station. Also, staffs are totally unfriendly.

Review 19：There were no facilities for kids in the hotel, although Zao Onsen in general is not particularly suited for families with young children. The equipment provided by the rental service in the hotel was poor and old, better use the rental in the neighborhood.

Review 20：As everywhere else in Japan, the staff was extremely helpful and nice. Both breakfast and dinner were really delicious, really good value for its money. Importantly, the hotel accommodates pre-school kids for free, meals included. The location is great, just a couple of minutes on foot to the ski slope.
