Review 1：For the price we paid we were expecting for a better service. OK the location is great and the house is clean but when we arrived in our apartment it was absolutely freezing We asked the owner if she could turn the heat on since it was only 3 degrees outside. She told us that she needed to reset everything, which she did but it didn't work right away. And that if it wasn't working, a man had to come and turn the heat on but that he could only come the following day. Hoping for the best, we covered the kids with blankets and decided to switch the TV on. I don't know what happen, but the power went off more than 5 times within one hour ! When the electricity seems to be back to normal, I got up and went to take a shower. The water was ice cold ! My husband went to inform the owner and the lady said to wait. After 30 mins of waiting there is still no hot water. At this point, we have had enough of the cold and decided to go to bed covered with blankets. Hoping to get a warm shower the day after, which never happened ! We shortened our stay by one night. We were shocked that the owner didn't even give us a discount. Well I guess she didn't seem to care too much about our discomfort.

Review 5：A clean and modern apartment with a fantastic view of the lake. The apartment was well kitted out for self catering and had good wifi. It is located on top of a hill on the edge of town. There is a pizzeria and supermarket about a 5 minute walk away. The town centre and restaurants were about a 20 minute walk away.

Review 7：Perfect stay for one week with small boy. Location for visits to Perugia (20min) and rest of Umbria and also Tuscany is perfect,close to motorway but in a quiet neigbourhood. The premises are in perfect place overlooking Lago Trasimeno and Passigiano with all necessary shops just 1 km away. Antonella (host) made her best to make our stay absolutelly superb- fresh bread and pastery in the morning, any wish concerning accomodation and equipement fulfilled in seconds. Appartment is newly furbished, clean and with all necessary equipement.

Review 9：Nothing - this was perfect for me. But the house is quite a walk from the town and transport links, so when I return I'll come for longer and with a car so I can explore more easily.

Review 10：This was a beautiful spot to relax and recharge after a busy hot week in Assisi. Antoinella and her family looked after me so well, from picking me up from the station to offering a lift to Perugia. The apartment is small but has everything you need and the setting is calm and quiet with wonderful views across the lake.

Our breakfast in the garden was very nice and the owner of the property, Antonella, does everything she can to make your holiday perfect. We loved this place very much, it is one of the best places we have ever stayed in.

Review 13：Beautiful location, wonderful view, very peaceful. Spacious and cost competitive for a family of five. We spent a night after 5 days in Rome. The lake nearby is very nice for swimming during a hot day. We wished we could have stayed longer

Review 14：As soon as we arrived we felt at home !!! Antonella is such a warm and welcoming person!!! She took great care of us from the moment we arrived to the time we left!! Breakfast was wonderful on the terrace with a magnificent view of the lake !!

Review 17：We fully agree with the review of Christopher (24th of August). We experienced our stay in the same way. Anthonella is a very good and kind hostess. She advises and assists the guests with all her heart. In the morning she runs her legs off to make a delicious breakfast with boiled or scrambled eggs and even every morning there is a appetizing homemade cake or pie. Everything is fresh and especially the ham is very tasty. Antonella is just happy if the guests are satisfied. You may use the washing machine and the dryer in the outbuilding. The place is surrounded by olive trees and absolutely quiet and peaceful. We stayed in the room on the first floor on the right side. It has a small balcony however the view on the lake is fabulous. By day and at night as well. The gravel path to the accommodation is very steep although it’s easy to drive because there are no abysses on both sides. The accommodation is very good located. It’s only a short drive ( approx. 1 km) to the Conad supermarket in Passignano. We enjoyed our stay very much and met very nice people too during breakfast. This accommodation is really worth it’s high ranking.

Review 18：The moment we arrived we realised this place was something special. The owners - Antonella and Othmar made us feel really welcome. Our comfortable, modern apartment was very well equipped and, being on the ground floor,had access to a garden area with beautiful views of Lake Trasimeno, the town of Passignano and beyond. We were able to have breakfast on the terrace every morning and Antonella worked extremely hard to make sure that all the guests were happy. It is very easy to relax here. We found that the other guests felt the same. (Peter and Ingrid - if you read this we hope you enjoyed the rest of your visit as much as we did ours). Thank you again Antonella for making our stay so enjoyable. We will recommend you highly to all our friends and we really hope to return before too long. Review 20：Wow we had a fab relaxing stay and only short drive to supermarket and town. Fantastic views. Hosts were superb and helpful. Great outdoor covered area and laundry facilities

Review 21：Very good service, and Antonella offered us a perfect breakfast every day. Appartment with two comfortable compartments (sleeping room and living room/kitchen) and also a nice terrace and a spa bath. We dont understand the complaint of some reviewers about the road to the house. We had no problems finding and driving it, off course it was uphill, but that's why the view over the lake is so great.

Review 23：The kindness of Antonella and her family! She made us feel at home directly with a complimentary drink . The apartments are modern and well maintained and we had a big terrace and nice views. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast with fruits, cake, bread , cornflakes and scrambled egg. During our six nights stay we met three couples and they were all very happy at Beautiful Antico Casale Tiravento. We had a very nice dinner together organised by a very charming american couple. And there was another dinner hosted by Antonella ! Our teenage daughters at first missed a pool, but The smile and kindness of Antonella at our arrival, the good and free WIFI and a red/ white cat they were allowed to name it Ginger and Susan and Tim and other nice quests made them want to stay, even when the holiday was over. We felt friendship and have experienced beautiful moments in this place, where we indeed hope to return.

Review 24：It can't be like this for everyone, but we found magic at the top of this hill. Magic is what happened when 5 couples with and without children came together unexpectedly without knowing one another. We were one Dutch family with two teen aged daughters, two German couples, one American couple, a local retired-to-Italy Dutchman and our Italian host family. We ate together, laughed together, shared stories, and became friends. No matter the beautiful view of serene Lake Tresimeno, no matter the exceptionally restored Antico Casale, or the philosophic journeying into neighboring ancient towns and hillside respites, the best part of our experience was the gentle joining of this disparate group of people. Why did this happen? It can be explained by the grace and intuition of our hosts who made it all possible…they provided the perfect backdrop by having the vision to restore this magical hilltop to a splendorous gathering place. You can conjure what you want for yourself on the top of this hill. If you want to be left alone. You can be. If you want conversation. You can have it. If you want to make new friends. So it shall be. The apartments are updated, modern, clean, and wonderful for spending time between Tuscany and Umbria. A perfect area for exploring the region and then having the lake and the town and the family on the hill to come home to in the evening. What is a better holiday than this? I can think of nothing. The world should have more opportunities for connecting just like this one…. Susan & Tim

Review 39：Our stay was fantastic, although we struggled to find the appartment as the sign had been washed away in heavy rain just before our arrival, we rang the owner who quickly came to meet us in the car and show us to the appartment. The owner, Othmar, was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. He had great local knowledge with the potential to spot some celebs. The appartment is fantasic and the views are unbelievable! We were greated with sweet wine and biscotti, a fridge stocked with water, beer and juice and nespresso coffee and a TV ready tuned into English channels. we took a trip down to the local town (we were feeling lazy and drove, you could walk, but the walk up the gravel path is steep and quite long) where you can sit and have a meal or gelato or just relax on the lakes edge or even take the short taxi boat to one of the lakes islands. We then sat out with a glass of wine and watched the sunset in the private garden and then cooked a meal (the appartment has a fully equipt kitchen) and sat out on the private balcony overlooking the lake to eat it. Breakfast was included which was spectacular! I have never seen such an amazing spread - everything from fresh coffee, freshly squeezed OJ, bacon and eggs, smoked salmon, fresh pastries, we could have spent all day grazing and probably could have as Othmar allowed us to stay till midday untill we had to leave for our flight. We had a lovely night stay and only wish we could have stayed longer! The perfect end to a fantastic holiday.
