Reviews for La Pineta Village

Review 1:Everything bed bugs .. Dirty .. No oven .. No wifi ... Full of flys the list is endless

Review 2:I am making a complaint to yourself via an email with various photos of how disgusting this place is

Review 3:Insects (ants) in the croissant at breakfast... no kitchen facilities (glass, spoon, etc.), no window in the room/"camera", hard to close the door of the room - they need to fix it.

Review 4:Close to the beach and the centre of San Vito lo Capo.

Review 5:Opening time of the bar and restaurant for breakfast. 07.30 AM is too late for both. If you need to leave at 07,15, no berakfast no coffee

Review 6:Position of the rooms. All around very clean and quite

Review 7:Swim caps required for pool.

Review 8:The grocery store was well stocked. The air conditioning in the bungalow was fantastic. Pool was a fun scene. Great beach nearby.

Review 9:Amazing Hospitality ! 300 metters from nice beach, close to the city. Transport everywhere you need. Good breakfast, grate coffe :). Animations for kids, karaoke. All was more than grate.

Review 10:Wonderfull staff. Great market on site with everything you need, without the overprice that you find generally on campgrounds. 7 minutes walk from the beach. Great pool on site!

Review 11:Wifi is only in a common area by the restaurant so we used cell phone data. They provide towels and that's it, need to bring soap and toilet paper (they only had one roll) if you're staying for awhile. Though there is free parking, we had to drive to San Vito beach/town part since it's farther away.

Review 12:This is a camping ground and we stayed in one of the bungalows that had private bathroom and kitchen. We liked having the patio furniture outside and my kids enjoyed the pool. It was nice that they have a market and restaurant on site since this site is farther away from the main part of town.

Review 13:nothing!

Review 14:We were very pleased on how a modern camp site can look like. All facilites were at top quality. Swimming pool, restaurant etc. The staff was really nice, especially nice lady with short hair and glasses. We wanted to extend our stay for 2 days, booking.com approved it but it was overbooking. She arranged other hotel "Trinacria" (with transfer and all paperwork). It was really, really nice! Thank you

Review 15:15 min walk to the centre (mostly along a boring stroller unfriendly road)

Review 16:we rent a bungalow in peneta for 8 days in september 2014, paid 720 euro. friendly staff, free late check-out, nice pool area, great coffee, clean bungalow, well-equipped little kitchen. in general: nothing really excellent but nothing really bad either. -->defenitely good value for money for couples with children. San vito is a lively town with many restaurants and great beach yet no mass tourism.

Review 17:location - a walk away from san vito beach and san vito village spacious rooms well equipped rooms - we had everything, including an umbrella for the beach car park - we could leave the car in front of the house

Review 18:the high density of tourists; tiny rooms; the beach is actually 500 mt away which was too far for us; pool water was rather cold

Review 19:breakfast coffee; small shop on the territory; nice view at the mountains; pine-trees around

Review 20:Our boys didn't like the football pitch and table tennis closing at 7pm because this was a cooler temperature in which to play. We didn't like the loud karaokes in the evenings.

Review 21:Our bungalow was well designed and practical. We particularly enjoyed the large swimming pool, the football pitch, the table tennis and the tennis court. We ate in mostly and bought all our food in the Market in La Pineta which was well stocked with good fresh food. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

Review 22:If you want to swim in their pool, you have to wear a swimming cap. The camp doesn't have its own beach, the nearest one is 850 m away.

Review 23:The room has got TV, unfortunately it's old.

Review 24:It was more like an upscale camping site, the pool always flooded with people

Review 25:Free parking

Review 26:Staff living beneath our bungalow and were very loud at times.

Review 27:Good location and the facilities were good

Review 28:Small shower and room

Review 29:Clean

Review 30:Room was bit small for 3 adults and one child, will get a bigger apt next time round.

Review 31:Grounds are well equipped

Review 32:Basic accomondation but nice area. Lots of children, always somebody to Play with.

Review 33:Location, private parking, clean

Review 34:Standby light on the bedroom ceiling is always on.

Review 35:Pool; good Restaurant

Review 36:Cleanliness Friendliness of staff Facilities Pool, Bar, Camp Taxi.

Review 37:rooms are smaller then expected and we missed little kitchen.

Review 38:friendly stuff, swimming pool, daily cleaning and great view from the balcony, breakfast is great

Review 39:Parking was a bit haphazard on a holiday weekend and the crowds that arrived for the 3 day weekend were in a celebratory mood. Outdoor groups singing until midnight each evening might have been a disturbance to some, but we didn't mind. Luckily we had rooms at the back of the complex, so noise wan't a huge inconvenience.

Review 40:Patio perfect for breakfast al fresco, well equipped kitchen, clean rooms, ample supply of towels, friendly staff and small but well stocked market with necessities for breakfast and lunch on site. Swimming pools were warm and plenty of lounge chairs available poolside.

Review 41:Rooms need dish soap and scrub pads for dishes!!!

Review 42:For a family if 5 we found this location to exceed our expectations! It is a great place to travel from, relax, just enjoy staying in one place or party hard with friends! I will go back next year!!!

Review 43:As for camping the standard is good - comfortable and well fitted houses, in-house shop, swimming pool. It is located c.a. 10 min from the city and the beach. The personnel is friendly and helpful - say professional. I recommend this place!

Review 44:Very nice camping, fully equiped. There was a swimming pool, tennis court, bikes to rent, parking. Calm place (we were in October). Close to the beach.

Review 45:The water in swimming pool was extremely cold (maybe its just because we visited in October); In bungalows there is no hair dryer; Just few of stuff speak English.

Review 46:This camping was the most beautiful in San Vito. The staff was really friendly, bungalow we live in was comfortable we were happy that all cookware are in the kitchen. Wonderful sandy beach is not so far away, you can walk and it takes 10 minutes. We can recommend this camping to family or who wants quiet recreation. There is no pubs (just restaurants and cafeterias), discos or any activities for young people in San Vito in the evening.

Review 47:Nice place for staying in San Vito Lo Capo. 5 min walk from beach. We stayed in bungalows and they are quite new with sufficient bedroom and small bathroom. Swimming pool with great view on the close hill is perfect solution after day on the beautiful beach of San Vito Lo Capo.

Review 48:There were lots of kids..yelling and music blasting for them while they did their activities. The activities seemed to be mainly based around the pool, which was a bit off putting if you wanted to laze poolside. The evening activities for the children sometimes went on till 10.30 pm which was a bit annoying if you wanted to use the WIFI in the main recreational area (as this is the only place WIFi is accessible).

Review 49:The village is closely located to the beach, and within walking distance. There is real family feel , and lots of activities for the children (if you have any). We stayed in a bungalow which was well equipped. The village has a good feel to it, and the staff were very friendly. Not alot of english speakers in this area which was nice and added to the authenticity of the place. Lots to do and see in and around the area including hiking and nature reserves.

Review 50:difficult when on foot and going in to the town centre frequently as it's quite a long way, but you can easily grab a lift with someone.

Review 51:Room feels like an appartment although it isn't an appartment room (which you can also get). Swimming pool good. breakfast good. Fun and safe campsite.

Review 52:The bungalows are self-catering which means bring/buy your own toilet paper!

Review 53:The self-catering bungalows had a relatively well-stocked kitchen. The refrigerator was a nice size, and the 4 burner stove was nice to have. There is a small market and restaurant on site as well. The beach was only a short walk from the campground.

Review 54:The beds were hard.

Review 55:The pool was beautiful and maintained well. Nice market and bar which made it easy for a late night run. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

Review 56:no real negatives. It was out of season so supermarket at camp not fully stocked.

Review 57:Great location, very clean, very nice staff. Close to lovely sandy beach. Great facilities for kids.

Review 58:Very beautiful place, nice pleasant room, very friendly and helpful staff, location close to the beach with crystal clean water :)

Review 59:Friendly staff, quiet place. It was possible to rent bicycles. A little bit further away from the city, than I imagined. Nice get-away for climbing.

Review 60:Didn't like that inside was dark and too small place for 5 pepople

Review 61:Bungalows clean. Cool in day and able to warm up on cool evenings using aircon. Close to excellent beach. Safe for kids to play on site.

Review 62:Everything

Review 63:Small room and narrow bath 1 km to the village

Review 64:Quite location (in winter at least) Close to Zingaro natural reserve

Review 65:Clean site and very clean but slightly cool pool. (late October visit)

Review 66:I like that I can park my motorcycle next to the room, And I also like that there is a small market.

Review 67:Great site for kids!

Review 68:It was horrible. Never again. The worst place in San Vito. I suggest allother locations.

Review 69:Faulty hair dryer air con required attention

Review 70:Good pool, mini mart, parking helpful staff

Review 71:Annoyed that you have to wear swimming caps in the pool so could not swim

Review 72:pool closes at 7pm?

Review 73:close to the beach, nice place, good value for money

Review 74:Parking is a little tight.

Review 75:We love the spacious patio on the bungalow. Great place to eat, play cards, etc.

Review 76:Really clean, Friendly personal, The market has reasonable prices and really friendly personal.

Review 77:Easy to find. Convenient. Easy to cook and prepare meals if desired. Great shopping and restaurants in town.

Review 78:the location was pretty far away from the beach, the furthest away you can get in San Vito. You have to walk a while to get to a decent beach.

The Fine Print
