Review 9：This is most definitely a piece of heaven on earth. The resort and especially the service is amazing. This was our first trip with our 9 month old. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and accommodate our LO. Special thanks to "Mr More". He's by far the biggest asset at the resort.

Review 12：We took the all inclusive option which you should NOT TAKE. It's just not worth the extra, unless you are an extremely heavy drinker. Word of caution for drinkers though, the red and wine house wine are $2 French wines - ie: not very good! Food is ordinary, although we had one or two good meals. My wife (who has lived in China and has a cast-iron stomach) are some bad chicken and got food poisoning which was not good!

Review 50：We missed snacks in the mini bar and the little island shops:) If you like sweets, bring some with you!! It is a long walk from some water villas to the restaurant (10 min) and the beach. We didn't mind but it is something that you should be aware off. I guess the Japanese style villas are closer.

Review 51：The island and the sealife are beauuutiful.Our water villa was amazing. We enjoyed the view, the wonderful set-up of the room with its connecting window to the bathroom where we had the morning sun. They clean the room twice a day, if you want. What we enjoyed most was the absolute privacy in our little pool and even the sea in front of our water villa. The snorkelling equipment is available for free. The diving instructor was a very good teacher. And the SPA was just amazing!!

Review 52：Hotel looks different from the pictures shown on booking.com, an old and dirty interior. Staff not friendly and not cooperating at all. My wife was scared to jumb out of the boat to the jetty and the staff were loudly laughing instead of providing help. The Jacuzy of the villa had only cold water, and they repaired it after arrival, also the sun terrace were so dirty, we asked for a new sheet but they just flipped over the old sheet to the other side. They were also overbooked and they gave us a wrong villa and they asked us to leave to the other villa by 8:30 in the morning!!

Review 53：Your are given a personal butler and encouraged to call on them however there are no drink or food menus in the rooms so if you want to have any room service you need to go to the front of house anyway

Review 55：It was a surprised b'day trip for hubby and when we chk-in they said there will be a b'day cake for him but until we chk-out there were no cake! That's the only main dissapointment from me.

Review 56：Stayed for 4 nites and everything was good! The island is very private and suitable for honeymooners or couples who wants to get romantic! Staff were very polite and attentive! Especially from the restaurant as they tried their best to cater my meals as I do not take diary products. Thank you so much for their effort and making sure I'm satisfied! Our butler Midhun did a good job too and always there when we need him. It was a memorable stay for us and will definately be coming back to Maldives!

Review 57：For the 5* label I expected better. The inclusive package is limiting as to wear you can take you drinks i.e. not in all the bars. Food is limited to just one restaurant. It is difficult to get your breakfast given at your villa. The butler service is not needed as you really can't have much brought to your room and often when you do request something they say its not possible. Much other activities are extras and they are pricey. The bar had little atmosphere and we had to always nock on the service door to get a drink. I would suggest that there are other resorts for the same money that would give you a better experience, as it is truly a once in a lifetime.

Review 58：The sunset villa is amazing, it is mainly down to the view, deck, access to water and plunge pool. Service in the restaurant is fantastic. the island is beautiful. The local breakfast is fantastic.

Review 61：The main negative thing is location. This hotel is really close to Thilafushi rubbish island and to Male city. It leads to view and sound pollutions.View pollution - because you always see just a few kilometers ahead non-stop smoke due to garbage burning and you see Male city - pretty not that classic "paradise" (blue sea-bright sand-green palm-blue sky) Maldives scenery. So it'll be hard to make a beautiful landscape photos here and to treat your eyesight as well. Sound pollution - due to high proximity to Male city you'll see and hear a lot of ships and speedboats and planes. Not so easy to get a nature relaxing. Also you can get some noise from a renovation process (which was in progress during our stay) and definitely you'll get noise from service electrocars permanent driving back and forth through watervillas jetty. Again, it interferes your relaxing.There is no any shade on the sun deck of watervilla. So if you have sunrise villa, you can not hide from sun anywhere (except inside the villa itself, but you usually come to Maldives not to be inside a house, right?) till about 2-3pm, and after this time you don't have any sunlight on your deck at all, and we were frozen slightly in this shade after swimming. Sunset villas are just in opposite - there'll be a shade till about noon-1pm.If you get frozen on you sundeck, you can go to the beach, but you'll find there only 5-6 umbrellas, the rest sunbeds are lack of any shade again, and you'll have to drag them into tree shade.It wasn't too easy to get a towel near the swimming pool - the pool guy often is absent on his working place. I had to wander around the island to find anyone who can provide me a towel - that's definitely not 5* service.The choice of drinks in the AI package is pretty small. We had got bored with them already at the 3rd day (of 7 days) of stay.One day we wanted to try a lobster for dinner, out of our AI package.

Review 62：Spacy and convenient watervilla with own pool and jacuzzi. House reef with a lot of various fish - from small clown fishes till stingrays and baby sharks. Complimentary snorkeling stuff. Various, fresh and tasty food in the restaurant. Food serving was pretty fine as well. Please note that even in the AI package you will not have a buffet, just a la cart. But this is not a problem, because the choice is wide and you can ask for more dishes (or repeat some) if you're not full. We liked very much Mr. Ahmed from the restaurant who served us almost all the times. He was very responsive, prompt and helpful. A bottle of champagne as a honeymoon gift we liked very much as well :)

I saud we would the the one which we reserve and find out because of fullness of our reserve vila they push us to stay in old ones which was " cheaper" So, instead of apologies.. We stayed first night with no more choice and a day later during evening they changed our villa!!!! Without any notice by manager

Review 74：The island is very small there is not much entertainment outside your room. Not a real bar , gym is very small and out dated no outdoor lounge, room service menu is limited, the air conditioning in the rooms is not the best. It's more like a local place than a international 5 stars. However you will find the place nice if your are not accustomed to high end five stars luxury hotels and the only entertainment you are looking forward to is some swimming in daylight and with your partner at night.

Review 75：The rooms are at a good value for the relative Maldivian market. For a similar ocean villa you would normally pay double.

Review 76：We didn't like the prices, it's a little too overpriced, we spent 3 nights for a bf amount of money, and the "All Inclusive" limits you to one bar and one restaurant, and to the timings they decide for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Any room service or snacks/drinks outside of those timings are for extra charges, which I never saw in any "All Inclusive" around the world. Also, using the spa, a massage, the other restaurants, getting a video and some pictures done while scuba diving, all these thigns were extra charges, and quite frankly, way too overpriced.. Also, one more thing we didn't like, is that for a young couple, it was a little dead, there were no activities and no entertainment at all, specially in the evening, after sunset, the resort turns into a ghost city, nothing goes on at all so you have no choice but to spend the evening on the deck in your water villa, which is not bad at all, but a little evening entertainment would have been very nice! Overall, it was a great experience and we enjoyed it very much!

Review 77：The staff is very friendly and very professional and from the moment you step into the resort, they make you feel right at home. The personal butler was a very nice guy and knew was he was doing, so did all the other staff. The water villa is just out of this world, I could live there!! We tried Scuba Diving, the instructor was very professional and very friendly and we had a really good experience.. Also, for an All Inclusive, the food was amazing, really impressed with the food quality and the choices... Overall, an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone!!

Review 78：It is looks like 3 stars hotel, very slow in service, rooms are very away from the restaurant and bar, old furniture, smily toilet. No towels available on beach so I have to search for servent to give me and then he asked me to return it back when I finish. Over 6 nights no room service come to place new coffee, tea, sugar I always have to call room service then transfer a call to Butler. In general, no luxury no even service

Review 82：1. Wifi - Very poor connectivity in the room. We had to spend most of the time in the restaurant and bar to connect to the world. 2. Butler - We were assigned a butler who gave us a tour of the resort as soon as we checked in. That was the last we saw of him until we checked out with the exception of a few occasions where we bumped into him and requested him to arrange for a few basic things which wasn't honored. 3. Air Condition - Not so effective despite there being 2 in the villa. Since the weather was good on most days, it was not a major issue. 4. Loud and Irritating General Manager - During dinner one night, we came across an extremely loud and irritating person who disrupted the entire ambience of the restaurant/resort/bar which mainly caters to young couples who are looking for a subtle and sober environment to enjoy their time together in peace. He was very loud and was trying to attract attention to himself and did not bother keeping his volume down. We could hear all his conversations and rantings clearly from the other end of the restaurant. We observed everyone rolling their eyes at his behavior. Initially we thought he and his family were also tourists, however later we got to know that he was the General manager of the resort. It was very disappointing to learn that someone of that stature would ruin the experience for his own guests.

Review 83：1. Fantastic water villas - We stayed in a sunset villa, which was very spacious and well designed. It had a private jacuzzi and pool. The room has a coffee maker as well as all necessary toiletries. 2. Excellent Food - We went in for an all inclusive deal which is highly recommended. The set menus varied daily and was never disappointing. The food taste, quality and presentation were second to none. A 10/10 for the food. 3. Excellent Staff - We were mainly impressed by two people. Mr. Asif, who served at the restaurant was very kind and efficient. He made sure we were comfortable in every way possible. Mr. Ali, who cleaned our room daily was also very decent and efficient. Apart from a few small hiccups, it was a great stay. We would highly recommend this resort to family and friends and would surely visit again.

Review 84：I didn't expect the food in an all inclusive hotel can be that good, however, it's really excellent! It's better for u to book the villa with all inclusive package! Their staffs are very very friendly, my escort is called Rifshal, he always helped us to arrange our requests. One night, the air con of my room was leaking water whole night, the manager immediately free me the late room check out! What an excellent service as they really care about ur feeling! Although the villa is not very new, the room size and facilities are not bad. Foods are over my expectation as I thought it's all inclusive, it should not be that nice. I highly recommend couple to stay in Vadoo!!

Review 85：Upon arrival the airport did not have any record of my reservation (despite separate email and booking confirmations). I was left to sit in the hot airport for over an hour waiting for it to be sorted. Main facilities are okay but rooms are in really poor condition. (Non working air conditioners, filthy carpets, smelly bathroom)

Adaaran resorts wrongly charged me for a reservation for another resort that I didn't stay more than a month ago and keeps telling me they are checking with their Accounts department and still hasn't refunded me. But the manager listened to our complaint very patiently, we heard some improvement during the last 3 days. The air-condition units are rather old and very noisy, which need to be upgraded.

Review 95：Excellent snorkel place with good variety of marine lives. All guest villas have perfect privacy. We can get in the water directly from our room. We felt like being treated as VIP's during our 7-day stay. They address every issue we raise promptly and carefully. Butler Shafiu is a nice boy to talk to. Ahamed in the restaurant always gave us great service. Every member of the staff greets the guest with smiles. Now it's only 3 days since we left, we already miss our wonderful time there.

Review 102：A la carte menu for breakfast is not the best idea since it takes longer than a buffet. The fitness room is quite tiny - definitely, the guests are not supposed to be engaged with any other fitness than water sports. The snorkeling equipment is provided for free, but the day I decided to snorkel there was no any equipment available, I got it only the next day.

Review 103：The island is quite small - there is no space for beach accommodation, only water villas, but it's lovely experience for those who do not mind to live over the waters. Friendly staff. Quality of food in the restaurant is good, the seafood rice and king prawns in sweet and sour -oh, I just loved them:) The hotel also does fish and stingray feeding in the evenings, and it's quite exciting to see the baby sharks and stingrays so close:) And lovely beach - white Maldivian sand inhabited by crabs and hermit crabs:)

Review 104：Mini bar in room not included. Air con in room is very poor. The island is very small. All inclusive package is very restrictive for example you cannot have any alcoholic drinks or meals in your room at the pool or at the beach bar. We stayed for one week and had to eat everyday twice a day in the same restaurant. There is two bars but one is more like the meet and greet room which has no bar inside. The other bar is the beach bar where it is nice to sit but with the all inclusive package u are not allowed to be served there. My husband had to each night walk from the beach bar to the meet and greet bar to order and carry back our own drinks as staff would not help.

Food was very good, but the desire to make it a top-of- the top gourmet is boring. Even formbreakfast. I can't see how this helps for achieving relaxing feeling.

Review 117：I booked a sunrise villa, and they upgraded us to the japanies villa. And that was reason #1 that made me fall in love with this hotel. The staff are suuuper friendly, specially our butler regi. Who was ready to help us 24 hours a day with a big smile. We booked the all inclusive package, and we liked every dish we had. We were there for 3 nights, and they had a different menu for each day. Even the chef came to us more than once to ask us if we are enjoying our food. And in the last day we had to leave the hotel very early in the morning (before breakfast start) but we were surprised that they prepared two bags of simple breakfast for us to enjoy in the airport.
