Review 1：we where witness to an angry discussion between two of the male waiters while the guests were served dinner. The female waitersamong and the last male waiter did a very good impression and there best to cover up this incident. This happens under the dinner the 2nd. Oct. 2015.

Review 2：Most evenings coach parties and at weekends celebrations filled the hotel ! Our room was directly below the dining room so suffered from noise . Occasionally the gardens and pool were closed to hotel guests due to celebrations eg a wedding. The food was mediocre.

Review 3：The reception staff gave us a warm smiling welcome and upgraded us to a junior suite. The views from hotel and our room were spectacular . The pool and gardens were spacious , manicured and empty throughout the week ! Off street parking easy except during one celebration when we had to park far from hotel.

Review 4：No towels at the beautiful spa. You should use your own towels from the room that you have to shower with.

Review 5：Hotel is built at very high standart and was a delight for everyone taste. we took 1 suite and 2 rooms and it was fantastic. The spa is a must place to visit, and is very relaxing. staff was very helpful and very professional. breakfast was delight and offered alot of types of food for everyones taste, and the terace is beautiful. the hotel is located on the hill of etna little above zafarena, just 2 minutes by car and offers free parking. it is offering AMAZING view and atmosphere of relaxation. the hotel is very clean and tidy, very trimmed and built very tasteful. without a doubt coming back again!

Review 6：Wifi is non existent on the weekend apparently. Pool closes in the peak between 13:00 and 16:30, makes no sense really.

Review 11：Dinner wasn't great but was good value. It's a bit far walk from the town and the restaraunt choice in the town wasn't great either, so overall better to have dinner in the hotel.

Review 12：The spa was outstanding and the pool area was magnificent with stunning views of Mount Ethna. Given the weather can be a bit unpredictable at this altitude it was great to have the outdorr pool and indoor spa to choose from Breakfast was superb.

Review 13：Wifi in common areas doesn't work. When it does too slooooowwwww. In today's IT age it shouldn't be so difficult to fix. Needs a functioning pool bar. Also internal bar area can be improved.

Review 86：they decided to do a complete elevator replacement, complete with drilling, welding etc at 7AM. There was no regard for the disturbances for the other guests. When we spoke with reception they told us that it's more important the hotel is ready for guests in High Season and did not even apologize. Will stick to Agroturismo next time!!

Review 87：That been said the hotel is located in the middle of mountains (etna) quite far from beaches and towns. Car is required. If the plan is to hike or visit the etna then it is well located, otherwise there is not much to do. The room facilities are very poor, especially the beds.

Review 89：When we saw the views and the pool we thought we hit the jackpot on our honeymoon, which we had booked 6 nights here, then we saw a sign saying, not allowed use pool between 12:30 and 5:30pm .. The best times to use them.. This was rediculous!! We got to our room, clean but very old fashioned!! We decided to leave after 2 days, as there was 2 weddings on while we where there and we weren't allowed use the pool from 12:00 until 7:30pm, hated that we where told we couldn't use the facilities as we had paid just as much as the rest of the guests!

You can visit Etna from hotel by car, there is 20min drive from hotel to Etna.

Review 100：The only reason why I am giving a 9 rating is that the beds were not very comfortable and you can hear everything outside of your room. The morning was very noisy.

Review 102：The room was noisy from people in the hallway. There are vents from the hallway into the room so any noise sounds like people are in your room. The vents also showed a light from the hallway which was annoying.

Maybe some fresh fruit, tomatoes etc. and hot food like scrambled eggs, bacon etc would be helpful. There was not much variety. If you are staying only day or two it is fine but after one week you do tend to get bored of eating boiled egg every morning, even though it was all very tasty.

Review 105：This is amazing place! Great for exploring East Coast of Sicily. The views are breathtaking! Hotel outdoor facilities amazing for couples or families or solo travelers - anyone will find this place magical! We loved the staff - they are very fast whatever requirements you may have and Vivianna at the reception especially helpful and hands on! The food served for dinners was delicious, different everyday! Rooms are clean, traditional decor and very spacious. It is certainly worth visiting.

Review 106：The hotel is situated right near the Etna park, just 20 mins drive toreach the Etna itself. The food is great although not a wide choice ofbreakfast items. Staff were always helpful. The room was very clean andwe had an excellent view of the sea and the near villages. Lovely pooland lovely atmosphere.We highly recommend this hotel even for itspeaceful and quite ambience.

Review 109：We choose this hotel because of the location but especially for the facilities (swimming pool and wellness). We were happy we could leave after 6 days... Four days we couldn't use the swimming pool because of a wedding or a reception. The hotel manager did not request to leave the pool side, but he ordered us to! Most of the staf didn't even say hello when we said goodmorning (and we speak Italian!). In the wellness there is no swimming pool like mentionned on this website. It's just a pool with a lot of jacuzzis, but you can't swim. There were only 2 chairs and there was no place where you could put your clothes and stuff. There is even no toilet!? In the reception zone, there was internet, but I didn't work for 4 days during our stay... The rooms are comfortable except the shower (what a poor jet of water!). The cleaning of the corridors is not ok; there was always soap and plush on the floor. The breakfast was ok, but there was no honey!? Zafferana is known for the honey!!

Review 110：The people at the reception are very friendly as well as the lady that takes care of the breakfast. The view at the pool side is stunning. At the breakfast there were biscuits without lactose and eggs.

What bodered mewas that there were ants in our room and the balcony window of room 104had cobwebs at the inside. But all in all we will be back to Airone whenwe come skiing again next year.
