Seafarers Getaway is set on 20 acres of rolling hills with direct access to the beach. The resort offers great views of the Great Ocean Road and is close to the attractions of Apollo Bay.
Choose between the 20 self-contained lodges and units, all which have fantastic ocean views. Each unit has a living area with kitchen plus a private deck. There is also access to the resort’s barbeque and laundry facilities.
There are many swimming and surfing beaches around Apollo Bay. Guests can also fish in one of the trout or red-fin dams. There are also many scenic walks in the surrounding area.

Review 1：About 3km from main streets in Apollo Bay. So if you need a little bit night life, just consider again. ;)

Review 5：It has a spectacular view of the sea and the sky from the room. The glass is sound-proof so it is very quiet at night. The rooms/showers are also well-designed. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Review 13：Stopped off in Apollo Bay on the way through and was lucky enough to stay at Seafarers. What an amazing place. Breathtaking view and such a great little 2 bed top of the hill apartment. We even had a view from the shower!

Review 14：no bad experiences but I wouldn't recommend for more than 3 nights only because there is no iron and no wardrobe space to hang anything so this spot probably isn't suitable for longer stays. I would 100% stay here again.

Review 18：Booked this place as it was specifically mentioned that it is on the beach. Was very disappointed it is actually NOT on the beach as we have to cross the main Great Ocean Road to get unto the beach. Noticed this is the same misleading case for some other hotels mentioned when we were searching for hotels along the Great Ocean Road. Rooms were small and walls between rooms were thin.

Review 32：Oh my gosh! The view from room number (and every room on the property, as far as I could tell) was spectacular! Wow. It's like having your own private beach. I hated when the sun set and the view disappeared - except we even had a great view from the patio of the wonderful sunset. You also have a view from the shower (and the toilet, if you want to look out!). The kitchen is great, so we got some food in town and had dinner our bar, looking out at the rather chilly ocean and listening to the waves. So perfect we really didn't want to leave.

Review 33：The room was fantastic but the bed was so uncomfortable, way to hard for me or my partner to get any sleep, we both woke up really sore, plus no block out blinds meant we woke up in a room that was ridiculously bright.

Review 44：Breathtaking views stylish and homely decor excellent service an absolute real treat for us. Highly recommended as a base to explore the stunning surrounds of countryside and Great Ocean Road. Definitely stock up on dips and crackers and beer and wine to enjoy the evening on the deck and bacon and eggs to watch the glorious sky in the morning. Want to go back!

Review 45：Gorgeous view!! and don't understand why they give us a suite with four beds since we only have two haha... but definitely would be an awesome place to host a family. Location is couple of minutes drive from Apollo Bay.

Review 46：Distant from public transport and town centre. Was not cleaned spotlessly but still OK. Tiled floor gave me a bit cold impression, less relaxing. Bed making was finished a bit roughly but still OK. The shower booth did not have a door, which let water went out, making the toilet floor wet. A little bit expensive for a tiny unit.

With the walls thin enough to hear whats happening next door.Also a little disappointed the place wasn't on the beach but was across it. But overall it was a shorts night stay .

The facelift is very impressive however I think a larger coffee table would be appreciated, also some microwave bowls and a small saucepan. Also some more cupboards in the bedrooms.

Review 83：Having stayed at Seafarers on & off for over 30 years, we think the position is fantastic, however compared with previous staff we felt the staff weren't interested in you, they were just anxious to get on with other work.

Review 87：These are the perfect chalets for travellers on the great ocean road. There is nothing quite like waking up to the view of the ocean without even getting out of bed. Its far enough out of town to have unobstructed access to an almost private beach but close enough to go for dinner.

Review 108：The only down side to the accommodation was the pricing of one room for one night. We originally tried to book to couples sweet but it was unavailable and that was $180. So we had to get the next available option which was a 4 bed sweet with 2 people in it for $210 closer in prices would have been nice for a one night stay.

Review 112：My partner and I were blown away as soon as we entered the driveway. The modern villa was extremely comfortable and warm for a cold stormy night. Surrounding view cannot be matched.

Review 115：Our stay at Seafarers was wonderful! We stayed here for 1 night during a Great Ocean Road trip and would highly recommend it. The location is absolutely incredible and just like the photos. You wake up and are literally staring at the ocean which is only a stone's throw away. Large, clean rooms with a nice big kitchen. Just slightly out of town which only contributed to the ambiance as it was so peaceful and the beach in front of the hotel was deserted. Definitely coming back for another stay!

Review 122：Main bed mechanical sound at night from adjacent lodge wall? This is difficult to explain because a visitor travelling with me could not hear the sound (he was lodged in the second bedroom where the sound was much reduced) when asked to listen for it to confirm. My guess is that the sound was from the fan of an adjacent gas heater or from an air con wall unit. At night such sounds can be more easily heard especially if lying in bed. The sound was not from breaking waves! I lived on a beach berm for years and have no problem with the sounds of the sea.

Review 123：Superb 2 bed lodge design and position for views. Wonderful kitchen, heating and comfortable settees. Excellent television, convenient parking too. Strange arrangement for returning keys.

Review 124：The views of the ocean were stunning, topped with a log fire and stormy weather outside, it was perfect. The complimentary teas tasted divine and thankfully they were not the usual Lipton variety! Highly recommended.

Review 131：Our. 2 bedroom apartment was more suited to 1 couple rather than 2 due to smallness of the bedrooms. Living area was ok. As we had been on the road for 5 days we missed the washing machine which was being repaired and we had to waste time in town at the laundromat.

Review 134：This place is amazing! The apartment was beautiful, so clean and modern and has the best view of any hotel I have ever stayed, you literally feel like you are on the beach! We only stayed 1 night but didn't want to leave. I can honestly say that this is the best place I have ever stayed! Lady who ran the place was also very friendly and gave us some great tips on where to eat etc. couldn't reccomend this place enough!
