Review 2：The bathrooms have been refurbished since our last stay and they are very nice. Our extra requests were seen to much to our satisfaction. It showed that the management cares about their customers. Highly recommended.

Review 3：Unfortunately all of our documents, including plane tickets, car hire info etc were taken out of a suitcase when we were not in the room and went missing. When I told the person on the desk they told me to look harder. Not helpful and a bad end end to a otherwise fantastic holiday.

Review 5：Rooms are very spacious, well kept and clean. The pool is huge and surrounded by trees with a very relaxing ambience. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Excellent location for tourists who are driving and wish to explore the Sicilian east coast.

Review 10：The bathroom needs to be upgraded as there are signs of wear and tear. The bathroom floor towels were too small. Breakfast can be improved if they simply warm up the scrambled eggs (although when asked they did) and provide bread which tastes fresher.

Review 11：Close to main highway as we were with the car it was easy to get around. Very good free parking. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Loved the present found in the room. Was surprised that the 'notes to have two rooms next to each other' were noted.

Review 22：Worst hotel food. (.my sisters calzone was burned black) I would not have tried to eat it! The waiter ignored us. The rooms and food was overpriced for the area.

Review 24：Only had a short overnight stay but everything went fine. We arrived rather late but restaurant served us without problem. Breakfast was quite good with a suitable variety available. Wifi worked perfectly. Parking is within hotel grounds. Had a smart deal offer from Booking.com. Extremely good value for money paid.

Review 25：The hotel was relatively remote from other facilities and without a car it wuld have been difficult to get out. The only public ransport was a bus into Catania, and the bus stop is about 400 yards down a busy road, or a txai.

Review 26：The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The room was most comfortable with an excellent en suite shower and a balcony with a view of the (distant) sea. The restaurant was rather pricy for the range and natureof the menu, but was very acceptable. Thne cooking was good and the wine good also.

The hotel ambiance is of atranquill tropical refuge despite its location in a fairly non-descriptdistrict. It is easily accessible to major roads into the city, airportand countryside, and especially Mt Etna itself. Review 29：No tea/coffee making facilities in the room and distinct lack of comfortable pillows. Balconies were good but no seating provided. The air conditioning was good but only when we asked at the reception as the individual controls in the room do not work and are actually controlled by the central management system. Would have thought a 4 star hotel had more than one computer available and should be updated in its software. The hotel should also offer information packs for tourists about how to get around, places to go and tourist maps especially of town attractions although Catania map looked good - it was pretty useless.

Review 30：The hotel is a wonderful Oasis in a surrounding living area of untidiness. The pool and grounds are fabulous and beautifully kept. The staff are very helpful and friendly especially Ramona although. It would help to have some knowledge of italian. The rooms were relatively spacious. The hotel is fortunately not in the centre of Catania so car hire is essential and here the hotel staff were wonderful in arranging for us and access to all major routes is nearby. The prices in the mini bar in the room extremely reasonable and comparable to normal prices.Very pleased with hotel and would stay there again.

Review 32：Great location in the outskirts of Catania especially if travelling bycar. We where fifteen persons and booked seven rooms and all aresatisfied. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, hotel staff speakedgood english and all satisfied our needs. Good and safe parking spaceeven for us that we where travelling with two minivans in high season.The barbecue by the huge pool was excellent and staff very helpful.Certainly we will use this hotel again in the near future.

Room spacious, staff very friendly, very good all round for a weekend break and ideal for trips up to the mountain towns.Interesting prints/reproductions of paintings everywhere that someone spent a lot of care doing.

Review 39：The decor is a little old fashioned and the staff are variable - some are lovely and friendly, others less so. The noise from the bar/restaurant can be very disturbing if the music is up for a function. One night we had a DJ and dance floor rocking away until early morning.

Review 40：The location is convenient to use the hotel as a base for doing day trips out. It's easily accessible to the motorway for travelling in any direction and plentiful parking means no worries about pulling in at the end of a long day. Likewise the hotel restaurant is pleasant, great wood fired pizza and seating out on the terrace near the pool. The rooms were always cleaned well and plenty of fresh towels. Nice little gift of pastries in our room on final night. The room was reasonable size and TV had English news channel. The breakfast buffet was generous with several cereals, bread, fresh pastries, scrambled eggs, cold meats and cheese, lots of fresh fruit, juices and fresh coffee made to order.

Review 41：Although generally clean there were some hairs in the bathroom basin which was a little offputting. The Bacon and Eggs at breakfast looked unappetising so we ddin't try them. Not the fault of the Hotel but it was very hard to find. It was dark and we got terribly lost. We were eventually guided to the hotel by a man who we asked for help.

Review 42：The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. We even had a small balcony. The lounge area was beautiful and the dining room was nice and spacious with plenty of room between tables. The staff were very polite and spoke enough English for us to get by.
