Reviews for Poggio ai Santi
Review 1:The team were very helpful in a relaxed and unobtrusive manor, and particularly helpful when we left our passports in the room safe! They arranged for them to be sent on to our next location in Montepulciano. Food in the restaurant was good. Beaches nearby worth a look if you like the seaside.
Review 2:- Quality of breakfast items mixed (good bread/cappucino, cakes very dry) and limited selection for longer stays - Wifi not usable in the room if the device is more than 1m away from the window - Rooms in the main house subject to noise from the outside bar (evening) and breakfast (8 am onwards)
Review 3:- Great Location & set-up - Friendly atmosphere
Review 4:The food is quite pricey, but considering all of the ingredients are organic and either from their back yard or direct vicinity, definitely worth it!
Review 5:I loved everything about Poggio ai Santi, starting with the location, the view, the persons running the place. The setup is definitely unique!
Review 6:Internet did not work in both rooms of our suite. Everything else was just exceptional!
Review 7:The breakfasts were delicious , dinners were superb. I especially enjoyed the tasting menu. Bath was terrific. Beautifully decorated Tuscan style. I felt totally pampered in this lovely Tuscan suite .
Review 8:There was a band and wine tasting night held but we were not made aware of it.
Review 9:Everything
Review 10:Beautiful place in a beautyful setting. The great views and the well planned garden.
Review 11:Superb accomodations, friendliness and helpfulness of staff.
Review 12:Dinner/Lunch menu very limited. Not for the average person. Food service unacceptably slow.
Review 13:Lovley stay throughout, tranquility , amazing views , swimming pool, very attentive and friendly staff! Delicious breakfast
Review 14:- Nothing - the stay was wonderful!
Review 15:- Beautiful place, very stylish! - GREAT food, and the chef is amazing (very italian, sits with you and discuss the food) - Nice pool area - The suite with a private bathtub on the terrace is divine! - Super-friendly staff
Review 16:We decided to have breakfast in our room most days, assuming that a supplement would be charged. Instead you are charged the entire cost of breakfast per person which seems a bit unfair and should be more clearly explained.
Review 17:The hotel is absolutely stunning as per the photos. Located on the outskirts of San Vincenzo, away from all the hustle & bustle of the town centre. The 3 hotel dogs are friendly and like to be cuddled! Bed is comfy and we liked having a kitchenette. The restaurant is amazing!
Review 18:Nothing
Review 19:Everything was pretty much perfect; the room, staff, grounds pool and in particular the food. We ate in the restaraunt twice and the food service and setting was wonderful.
Review 20:Well, I had to look hard for something I didn't like, but I found something: According to my taste, there are no really nice beaches in the area. You would have to go to Elba.
Review 21:Paradise on earth! We loved everything: The whole setting of this location, the view, the room, the chef and his wonderful cooking skills, the pool, the friendly staff, the dogs, the breakfast buffet ... And last but not least: the no children under 12 policy. Much appreciated!
Review 22:If we're honest the service was a little slow at times and you very much felt sometimes as if you had to ask before being offered. A bit of extra proactivity (e.g. someone coming down to the pool to offer to take orders at lunch and sundowner time) would take this from an excellent to an exceptional experience.
Review 23:The setting is stunning and the best part of the experience by far. The rooms are quiet and private. It feels like a very homely and personal place and is absolutely perfect if your main goal is relaxation as staff are unintrusive and the general clientele are all after the same thing. The food is delicious too and Francesca and Domunique charming hosts. We loved it.
Review 24:Excellent room and balcony with gorgeous West-facing view to the sea.
