Review 19：The interpretation of the room booking was not clear as we did not receive what we thought we will be getting. The toilet was not well maintained and not to our expectation of the hotel. Both buffet dinner and breakfast was a disappointment for our family. The staff was very slow with the food preparation and there was not a wide spread of choices.

Review 21：I was disappointed with the swimming pool. Apparently the flooring has broken tiles. My sister-in-law's toe bled after stepping on one of the broken tiles. Fortunately it was not a deep cut. I, myself stepped onto a Nike pin causing pain and discomfort. I reported to your staff when returning the towels after the swim on 20th Dec at about 11 a.m. It left me wondering, will the management look into this and repair the pool floor and how frequent does the pool cleaning take place?

Review 23：The first room allocated to me was dingy and had no telephone and the lights were not working. I had use my personal phone and make three calls before my problem was attended to . They could not resolve the problem and had to change my room . I feel that since the hotel is located in the duty free zone they do not have to do much about service. Furthermore I felt that the worst rooms are allotted to people who book through sites like booking.com etc

Review 25：I checked in close to midnight. Check-in was smooth and the reception staff were efficient. Was upgraded to a suite room, which was great! Good selection of food for breakfast. All the staff we encountered in the hotel were courteous.

Review 50：Watch out for the time it takes to transit between Malaysia and Singapore. We had to leave at 4 am to make sure we made the connection (6.30am). In quiet times, this only takes an hour. In peak hour the customs backlog can take 3 hours out of your day.

Review 61：The hotel staff was very helpful and informative as I had an emergency at abt 3/4am in the morning looking for a 24hr clinic nearby. They gave us all the info we needed and even offered us a cab in case we needed a ride.

Review 62：Check in was a nightmare! Arrived at 10am and was told check in is at 2pm. Come all the way back from the city and the rooms are still not ready after 1.5 hours! Bath tub was clogged as the drain plug couldn't come off. 1 hour later at 11.30pm the maintenance guy comes up to fix it. After being out and had to wait all day to check in, waiting until 11.30pm to have a shower is not what we had in mind!

Review 100：Im neutral to this hotel cos i have read the reviews earlier. The phone in the room is totally useless. Wifi isnt workibg too well. All i can say is that this place is not for snooty , fussy or nit picking people. Yes , the place isn't very new but it is clean and comfortable. Just dont expect it to be perfect . The hotel rates are acceptable.

Review 101：Lobby looks professional and good. location eise is not too bad. Lots of food choices around the area and within 7 mins taxi ride to johor central where the malls are. There's a gym with sufficient facilities .

Review 105：The front desk lady while chewing a gum just look at me and continue her job when she I told her to make it quick because my friend wasn't in a good shape. Then the Duty Manager came into the picture and made thing easy for me. That's anticipate guest need!

Review 107：It is a very very long walk from the hotel to the car park. You have to walk through the Berjaya Expo/Ballroom area, which is very nasty. That whole area perpetually smells of old urine and musty carpet. I wouldn't like to walk through that area when there are no events in the ballrooms. It's dim, quiet, still smells funny, and you're alone in the vast emptiness. Maybe there was another car park closer to the hotel lobby, but the signages directed me to this particular car park for hotel guests.

Review 134：Me and my husband went to JB for a business purpose. We arrived late around 11pm to check in. The reception counter staffs are not so friendly. We were greeted without smile... I booked for club deluxe room - with king size bed of course. However there were only twin bed for club room available. I am currently 7 months pregnant, and of course I dont want to sleep seperately with my hubby. XD thus, requested for a kind size room. The manager Mr Hazri has upgraded our room to club suite which make us feel so fortunate and relieve that we can rest comfortably after a long drive from KL. Stayed for two night and find that this hotel in a very strategic location. Local food are very easy to find. Overall we are satisfied. :)

Review 137：The lift looby from the carpark to the hotel room is too far, no propoer direction from the carpark to the hotel lobby. Aircon not working, called maintenance to repair the aircon and tap took them nearly three hours to arrive even this we have to call the service maanger before they arrive.
