Review 1：I was in room 23 and got bitten by bed bugs when I had an afternoon snooze. Not nice. The receptionist tried to explain all the bites (maybe a dozen, in 3 separate areas of my torso) away as being from mosquitoes, but I knew this was not the case as I'd even managed to catch and kill one of the bed bugs I found crawling on my sheet! They moved me to another room, but weren't apologetic - maybe they were embarrassed at what had happened? But otherwise the staff were ok.

Review 9：Perfect location to visit our family in Pastena and Salerno. Beautiful room and large balcony shared with more of our group in the next room. Lovely friendly and helpful staff couldn't do enough for you. Even Giovanni the security guard who let us in each night as we never got back before the doors were shut haha, and Fonzo who makes fabulous cappuccino's for breakfast with a beautiful smile and full of fun. Will not hesitate to return xx

Review 10：We had great troubles in going to the hotel from the center of Salerno and back. Every day we had to wait for a bus up to an hour. The buses go very seldom and do not obey the timetable. Therefore, I recommend this hotel only to travellers with a car.

Review 23：Lady in the reception was totaly unfriendly. She tried to improve that my doughter is older that 2y. We felt like freeloaders and scammers. We had to leave our car key in the reception without reason explanation. There was no "please leave" only "leave".

Even though we arrived in the breakfast area 30 min before the indicated closing time, all of the trays but a couple of them were empty, and they refused to replenty the food for us. Even worse was the fact that they started to collect the few items of food that were left 10 mins before the closing time, and the cleaning staff started to clean up around us in an unpolite way 1min before the closing time. All of this made the breakfast experience quite unpleasant.

There is a safe private parking, which I highlyrecommend as this is closed all the time by a shutter. The'Lungomare' (seaside) is only a couple of minutes away on foot,where you will find a lot of restaurants along the coast road. Do keepin mind that there is no elevator, so travel light. Though its only oneflight of stairs, and I'm sure that the friendly staff would beeager to help. Breakfast was good as well

Review 65：The location, we had no idea Salerno, a seaside city would be so dirty, there was dog feces and trash all over the sidewalks and the streets frequently had bad smells, also the beach would have been nice except they were covered with trash, we expected more of a place so close to a tourist hotspot like Amalfi.

Review 74：Very nice staff, comfortable room, nice breakfast. Everyone was very warm, friendly and helpful who worked there. It is across the road from the sea, so you can take long walks, eat and drink near the ocean, and swim or lay out in the sun. It is a longish walk into Salerno centre, but the view of the city lights at night is gorgeous.

Overall a very unsatisfactory experience how it got arating of above 5, I do not know .
