Review 3：I didn't know the area so I had no idea that it was quite a long walk from the train station (about 25 minutes). I had to share a bathroom with another room.

Review 4：Friendly staff, close to a couple of good restaurants, and the fact that I got a good price for what was essentially a last-minute booking.

Review 5：Breakfast was bland and the staff spoke little to no English. Double bed for this hotel means two singles pushed together and very uncomfortable. They had a dog unleashed at the entrance without any consideration that their guests may not like dogs. You cannot have a visitor come up your room and there's no lounge for them to sit at the reception either.

Review 9：This is a character hotel in a residential part of Modena, but still convenient for a ramble round the old town. It has its own car park. We had a typically generous breakfast. The owner is rightly proud of his city and has good local knowledge. It's a shame we were only there for one night.

Bus no 4 stops right opposite the hotel, and picks up directly outside. Rooms were simply furnished but clean and serviced daily. The staff Marco, Sonia and Marie Therese were absolutely wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was also great - nice to have cereal and yoghurt, fresh fruit, bread and cheese as well as the usual criossants. Perfect cafe lattes. Review 53：Very noisy, uncomfortable bed, bathroom really old and not so clean. A bit expensive for what you get and not even in the center of Modena.

Restaurant down stairs was reasonable and lovely food (popular with the locals also which is usually a good sign). it was a very short walk into the old town and although an economical hotel, was very clean , with comfy beds, god wifi and helpful staff. WE stayed to go and visit the Ferrari factory and it was very suitable.

The desk person went out of his way to makereservations for us to see a place that makes balsamic vinegar. He eventook me to the bus stop the day before to make sure I knew where to getthe bus and which one to take.

Oue room had a balcony which looked out onto the street and was great fot watching the world go by. Marco recommended great local restaurants too and Sinia helped us with train times to Bologna. Review 80：There is no air conditoning in the room we were in but that wasn't an issue for us because the weather wasn't that hot and the ceiling fans worked well - and added to the ambience. The breakfast room is small so it can get busy. We were only waiting a few minuted though.

Review 81：The hotel was ideally suited for walking to the centre of Modena. It was also great to have free parking. It is a lovely hotel with an old fashioned feel. The staff were all very friendly and the continental breakfast was very good and the rooms were spacious and clean the wifi was great. I'd recommend it and would stay here again.

Review 82：the location is wrong on the map. it is too complicated to find. the coffee machine was broken so we didn't get one for breakfast. breakfast served in the bar which only has 3 tables so if full you have to eat outside. would not come again and think booking.com need to remove this hotel. we would consider changer our booking options due to this. we need a site we can trust and we use the site quite often, in face we should be on commission or have some loyalty reward for the amount of rooms we book through booking .com

It was raining and we were wet, the lady in reception told us there was not any place in hotel that we could change our clothes, she offered us to wait in breakfast room with our wet clothes, she even could not think to offer any hot drinks. Review 92：The hotel is a bit run down but genuine, and for me that is the main thing. It is designed in a way that is unpretentious and practical. The place has got "chemistry", a very nice feel to it. Also, the bed was confi, with extra pillows and blankets if needed. The hotel is really quiet at night and staff is just marvellous. This is the sort of place I like: somewhere welcoming and genuine, as I said; although it may not suit people who prefer chain (predictable) hotels.
