Review 1：The most picturesque location, and lovely and compact apartment with with beautiful views of the lake. The host was exceptionally helpful, even picking us up from the train station when we arrived in Lake Orta and taking us down to the main square with our luggage before check-in! Facilities were excellent as we had a wonderful time in this amazing place.
Review 2：Shower was awkward to use and tended to block. The room was cold and dark as it faced the alley.

Review 4：This is a great apartment, the rooms are large and very well equipped. It is very central but quiet at night. Maria is a wonderful host, going out of her way to be helpful and accommodating. Loved our time there.

We came for a wedding and had a great time, would definitely recommend this accommodation to anybody visiting! Lots of stairs, but this is totally worth it for the view and is stated in description!

Review 8：The location was excellent for us, centrally located to explore the village, walk above in the nature park, and eat in a nearby restaurant. The apartment is a ways from the train station and we really appreciated the kindness of the owner in providing transportation in her private car to/from the apartment. It was too far to walk with even light carryon luggage. However, it would be fine for backpackers.

Review 10：Very warm welcome from Maria who gave us some great information on the local area to help us make the most of our stay, the apartment was literally just off the main square, fantastic to open the balcony doors and hear the hubbub of the village but as night life seemed to end around 12 sleeping was not a problem. You need good shoes to cope with the cobbled streets and away you go to explore the many tiny back streets and alleys where you get rewarded with the most magnificent views.

Review 20：The location is at a stone's throw from the central square. That also means some bustle, especially from the restaurant next doors that plays a lot of music. We didn't mind - some blues, some jazz, some Italian. For WiFi you have to go to the central square (free by courtesy of the municipality). Note that cars don't enter the city, you have to carry your luggage a small distance. Finally, there is no airco - although the apartment stays quite cool on really hot days in summer it might be warm.
Review 21：Very central and extremely well equipped. The kitchen and bathroom have all the utensils and machines you might want and probably more. The landlady is very efficient and helpful. There is a dining room cum kitchen and a separate sleeping room with attached bathroom. And a lovely private terrace where you can also have your meals and drinks. There are views of the lake both from the kitchen and the terrace, though not directly on the waterfront.
Review 22：Not a bad experience per se, but for ourselves without the use of transport 3-4 days sufficed as the options for exploring the local area were limited.
Review 23：The friendliness of Maria and her willingness to ensure her guests’ needs are met makes this apartment an excellent place to base yourself if saying in the beautiful Orta SG. Location within a few hundred yards from the main square, with some of the friendliest local people we have encountered on our travels.
Review 24：The layout of the apartment, while beautiful, is quite open (the two bedrooms are basically lofts with curtains) so this could be a problem for some who are looking for more privacy.

The owner was very helpful and friendly. The apartment was the most well-appointed one I've ever rented (shampoo, dishwasher detergent, etc.) and the beds were quite comfortable, even the sofa bed!

Review 29：The apartments are centrally located, our party rented two of the apartments. Both had unique characters and were appropriately furnished with everything you needed. The owner Maria is very welcoming and was available should you need anything. Orta San Giulio is just beautiful. Stunning scenery, friendly locals, great bars, restaurants and ice cream what more could you want for a relaxing holiday? Would definitely return and recommend to anyone wanting to experience the Italian lakes with less tourists. (We travelled at the end September so out of high season)
Review 30：I doubt there is any other accommodation better situated than here. The square and waterfront were on our doorstep. Maria was very helpful and did everything possible to make our arrival and departure as easy and stress free as possible. Orta itself was beautiful. We'd love to return again and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Review 33：We stayed here for a wedding in September and it was absolutely wonderful! The apartment has great views overlooking the lake and is 30 seconds from Orta San Giulio square. The owner was very helpful and kind (We arrived quite late). Parking is a short walk away and the lake is close enough for a midnight swim ;). The apartment is very spacious, awesome shower downstairs, comfy beds, lots of natural sunlight and fantastic views, kitchen is very nice and BIG, lounge and dining area is great. I couldn't recommend this apartment enough. Thank you so much for having us, we will definitely visit again! :) T

Review 38：Nothing really. Just be aware that you can't park close to the apartment except to offload but free parking is available 10 minutes walk away. This wasn't a problem for us.
Review 39：The location is in one of the main squares in Orta. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The kitchen had a fridge and kettle and other appliances. We were told we could help ourselves to tea bags, and coffee etc. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. This was a perfect stop-over but would have been happy staying longer.

Review 63：The location is amazing, in an old 16th century house next to the market square. We were welcomed by Maria, the owner and she gave us a lot of tips upon arrival about where to go and what to do. The apartment itself (we had the Bella Vista) had two bedrooms and two floors. It had everything we needed. Maria is very friendly, she even suprised my girlfriend on her birthday with a bottle of champagne!

Review 67：My only criticism is the pre dawn bird song starting around 2:30ish amlasting a couple of hours .We were in an attic apartment may have hadbirds on roof tops .However my husband and daughter slept through it!But not being able to sleep through it meant I could sit at the lovelywindow and admire the twinkly lights of beautiful lake Orta .

It was very spacious and comfortable and had a fridge, toaster and kettle provided as well as tea, coffee, etc. The bathroom was one of the biggest I've seen in my travels. The owner was very friendly and helpful - she even drove me to the railway station early in the morning so I could catch my train. I would highly recommend this apartment for comfort, location and value.

The owner cheerfully picked us up anddropped us off at the train station, saving us carfare, because althoughit was within walking distance, it was on a very narrow and steep road& would have been dangerous to walk.
