Review 1：Nothing was "bad". It is a bit far from Sorrento, if you are traveling by train. Taxis and buses run regularly.

Review 2：My wife and I spent three nights at Hotel & Spa Bellavista Francischiello, from 1 August - 3 August. We arrived from Perugia via Italy Shore Drivers, so I can't address the train or bus options. I will say that Massa Lubrense is further away from Sorrento than I thought it was, but the amenities at Hotel & Spa Bellavista Francischiello more than compensated for this distance. Our room had a small balcony, which we used each day to view the sunset. The Isle of Capri was easily seen from our room, but we chose not to visit it. The restaurant served breakfast, which was included, and had all of the items Italians eat for breakfast. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant and never had a bad meal. The staff was most helpful. We chose not to visit the pool or spa, mainly because we had other plans and places to visit. Actually, this hotel was probably the best one we stayed in on our 5 week European adventure. We had a driver take us to Positano and Pompeii, but if you are driving you could do that yourself. Or take a bus. Massa Lubrense is on the Amalfi Coast, and this coastline is really the attraction. Room Tip: Ask for a room with a sea view and a balcony.

Review 3：State of the 'facilities' ... damp, most discussing mould I have ever seen in the hanging rooms. The outdoor pool being shut and full of leaves, the gym being smaller than my home gym, the distance from Sorrento, the heated discussions by the staff in the breakfast room, the quality of the staffing throughout.

Review 5：Paid 44 euros to get taxi from Sorrento port to hotel and then allocated double room without sofa bed (needed for my daughter). Hurray for the printed confirmation from booking.com clearly stating a Comfort Double including sofa bed and eventually allocated another room as per description. But not a good welcome ! Also would have appreciated more information about how to get to hotel without using taxis, more information about what to see in the area and how to get there whilst staying.

Review 6：Very beautiful views across sea and countryside, could see Capri and Vesuvius. Dinner in restaurant excellent. Easy to get into Sorrento by bus, 1.6 euro per person one way and stop right outside. Despite my initial arrival experiences I would recommend this hotel.

Review 14：From looking at pictures I did not realize the main road to Sorrento is right below the balconies. The only air in our room was heat, set at 24 degrees. We had to sleep with the doors to the balcony open. Road noise went on throughout the night.

Review 15：Breakfast was good. We also had dinner one night at the hotel restaurant and it was also good. Fresh seafood is definitely the highlight of the meal. Although we had a car with us, we took the bus one time into Sorrento since we were going to be there and out at Capri all year. Had to wait over an hour for bus leaving Sorrento train station and then it arrived in a different area than the people in the ticket office told us it would.

Review 16：We didn't realize the distance from town. We thought we would be able to walk, but it definitely required taking the bus. This wasn't the most convenient, but once we figured out the bus schedule, it worked fine.

Review 23：A little bit far from the center of Sorrento, we had a problem when we got there. We ordered 2 rooms since we have 3 children including baby crib. We were separated to 2 rooms very far from eachother, and were told that the baby crib would be ready only the following day. After complaining to the man in charge, the baby crib was set, and the following day we were situated close to each other. The response was good, but I would expect this kind of hotel with this kind of rate to do better at the first time.

Thankfully, the hotel restaurant was excellent so we ate there the 3 nites we stayed. Also, no service available between 3:30 and 7:30 pm to get a drink or an apertif at the pool or hotel bar.

(36 degrees outside) Hotel is a little isolated as we didn't have a car.(1500 euro deposit was required). We took the local bus to Sorrento, but only once managed to get the bus back to the hotel, we were hanging around a lot waiting for the bus back, so we got taxis's which cost 20 euros each time back to the hotel

Review 54：Run-down rooms - cheap, tub with curtains, broken floor tiles. Despite the panorama, the traffic before the Hotel is dreadful, it doesn't worth it to sit out to the balcony because you can't even hear each-other's voices. The Wifi is weak and the TV channels are stuttering. It's impossible to walk near the building, there is no side-walk. The beach is far away and it's small. The aren't many parking places, and those that are there are tight. There is no buffet, the nearest shop is miles away in Sorrento. The breakfast is poor (only one kind of vegetable (tomato), only one kind of cheese, a few kind of cold cuts, egg...etc. - and it is always the same, it lacks imagination!!! The pictures are far away from reality. It's a "one night" hotel, really.

Review 56：Depending on your plans the location can be not the best one. For example we traveled all over the Amalfi coast like Positano, Ravello, etc...and we have spent many hours in traffic. But if you plan to be in the neighborhood, like Sorrento, Masa Lubrense, it is great.

Free parking, hotel was beautiful inside with great views of capri, the room was lovely spacious comfy and clean with wired wifi in each room so strong network. They had a spa which was great and the inside pool and gym are free which was good as we went out of season. The staff were lovely especially the main woman at reception, its a family run hotel and the guy even ran us all the way to pompei in his car because he was going that way anyway! Couldnt fault this place at all and would definitely return here :)

Review 78：Buy your bus tickets at Reception and catch the bus directly outside the hotel to go into Sorrento (takes about 10 mins). Make sure you put your hand out or they will not see you and drive straight past! Stamp your tickets on the machine every time you get on the bus.

Obviously hotel staff are not responsible for other guests staring at us, but we did not feel that much better with most staff. Review 96：Only hot breakfast item besides the coffee and toast were scrambled eggs in a warmer...so they were room temperature. Our terrace had uncomfortable plastic recliners and a small iron bistro table and two chairs...and a little tiny umbrela which served no protection from the Sun..very uncomfortable for such a lovely spot. On a couple of occasions I was served a local red wine called Aglianico which was corked and the staff seemed shocked when I asked for another glass. I almost switched to drinking white. Mini bar had no red wine in it! Also no coffee maker in the room!

Review 97：WOnderful location, we had a Junior Suite with a fabulous view from our private terrace overlooking the Gulf of Naples and Capri. Beds were comfy, bathroom roomy, lots of closet space and extra blankets too. Staff were friendly and breakfast was lovely with fruit and sweet croissants, cheeses, cold cuts and great coffee. The view was great from the dining room due to huge picture windows. Would have loved to have stayed longer. The town bus stopped right outside the hotel.

Review 98：if you book as family and get the suites be aware it is a very long walk and a lot of stairs (around 40) and no one willing to help with .luggage They had an issue with the internet connection and took them 3 days to solve the issue.

Review 101：This hotel was the end of our Italian foray and provided the most perfect close to our holiday. The views across the bay are just amazing, the room was absolutely perfect, unbelievable. Review 102：Staff not very helpful, almost felt like being a guest was a nuisance to them at times. We were told off for trying to use the wrong food table at breakfast "that is for lunch!" On some days the room wasn't made up until the mid to late afternoon. If you wished to borrow the iron & board it had to be used next to reception in full view of the other guests. The bill was hand written! Parking can be difficult as there aren't enough spaces when there is a function on as well. Lifts broke down on occasions too. Would not return to this hotel.

Review 115：This hotel has a beautiful view out over the sea to Capri, great pool and a comfortable room with balcony. It is well located and we enjoyed our stay and would go back.

Review 116：The bed in our room was very hard and unfortunately you could feel the springs in the bed. The pillows were also really hard with no softer options in the room. Also our queen bed was actually 2 twins pushed together (which is typical in Italy.) The hotel is great, but just know the bed you have in your room may be hard and could affect your sleep.

Review 122：Water pressure is terrible and worse was when there was no hot water at all for1 full day and the hotel management didn't communicate this - I found out while I was under the shower! Comp breakfast was okay - would have liked bacon and sausages and scrambled eggs like other hotels offer. No room service was disappointing.

However, it was rather unreliable and the last bus back to the hotel was at 10:20, in September not 11:00 as we were told. The Sunday bus service was particularly bad Taxi - extremely expensive. This is a big drawback for all the hotels along this route, the windy narrow road making it unsuitable for walking.

Review 135：The fact that the bus stop was right in front of the hotel and the ride into Sorrento was about 15 min away. The staff was helpful, accommodating and nice.

Review 136：The bed was very hard. Not very comfortable. We had dinner twice in the hotel restaurant. The first time was lovely. The second time, we waited for nearly one hour for our first course, then to be told that they had to make it from scratch. We finally got it but cancelled the second course because it was extremely late by then. We stayed for 3 nights. The breakfasts could be slightly more varied, including fruit and veggies. There is a public bus service just in front of the hotel. That's excellent. However, the randomness of the schedule was annoying at times, requiring long waits. This is not the fault of the hotel, of course, but visitors should be told about this.

Review 137：The view from the room was magnificent. We were upgraded to a very nice mini-suite but the problem was that it required climbing and descending about 25 stairs to get there. For anyone who wants to avoid the hustle and bustle as well as the impossible traffic of Sorrento, this is an ideal place.

Review 138：Corridors tend to have an echo because of all the tiled floors so when cleaners are working in the morning cleaning rooms it echo's thru the whole floor. Shower a little small.

Review 139：Staff fantastic,went out of their way to help. Pool open till 8 pm unlike the more expensive hotel we stayed at later that week which shut at 6 pm in summer !!! Restaurant stayed open to serve dinner as late as 11 pm and very good quality.Breakfast was also good quality and with a good choice.

Review 140：We booked a junior suite deliberately for a bit of luxury but apart from a larger balcony in a slightly different direction it was the same as the other rooms our friends had. The staff whilest not rude did not go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
