Review 1：Street parking is a bit complicated unless you chance upon space. Best use a carpark or let the hotel arrange their garage for you. The room could be bigger, but is fine for a weekend when you should be out seeing the marvellous city anyway!

Review 2：Really excellent, helpful, friendly service. Warm, clean, comfortable room with good bathroom. Garage parking for EUR 20 per day, by someone taking and returning the car. Really good location, 5-10 minutes walk from the Duomo etc and being just off centre enough to be quiet at night. All in the context of being a very good price, so the driver is value for money. Not the best hotel in the world, but really fine and better so given the price.

Review 4：A lovely old-fashioned but well-maintained hotel. It was very comfortable, beautiful and has good services. The hotel is very atmospheric with fresoed ceilings and beautiful wall coverings. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast.

Review 10：Lovely staff, very helpful. Hotel is brilliantly located in centre of Modena, car parking avail for reasonable €12 per night. The hotel is a grand old faded beauty, feels like you are staying at your rich old aunts place , very comfortable, spotlessly clean , great BFast, full of history - loved it !!!

Review 12：Room was clean and big, very nice facilities. We stayed only for one night, and we were sorry we couldn't stay more.

Review 13：Breakfast was a disaster. We came half an hour before it was supposed to finish and there was NOTHING left. We asked the lady working in the breakfast room to bring us something but she did´t seem to care a lot. She brought a plate of ham and that was it. We managed to get a couple of eggs but they were raw. When we asked for a second cup of coffee we were told we would have to pay it separately. The service in the hotel was in general unfriendly which is a pity because the hotel is quite charming and in a good location

Review 15：Wedding on Saturday LOUD music till late then again on Sunday during day. Staff response come in winter fewer weddings. Garden not enjoyed as music unbearable!

Review 17：We had a terrific room and the location of the hotel was excellent. It was close to the centre of the old town so we could walk to restaurants, bars and the main shopping area. The Ferrari Museum was only a 20 minute walk.

Review 21：Nice old fashioned hotel to take you back in time very well maintained as it was a monstery . The hotel is in a great spot so near to every thing. Front desk kindly booked us a tour at the last minute and arranged a taxi . Breakfast adequate cuppacino excellent. Room and bathroom very clean.

Review 23：Amazing room with a little lounge area too- so we had 2 flat screen TVs, to practice listening to Italian. power shower and lovely bathroom with robes and slippers provided. The room was very comfortable and the hotel entrance was lovely. Staff on reception very helpful and provided great restaurant recommendations.

Review 33：Clean, safe, grand old hotel. Great location a few blocks from the main shopping street. Nicely appointed salons, comfortable furniture, ornate decor, and a lovely garden terrace with comfortable patio furniture. Floor-to-ceiling murals. Very friendly staff. Superb and plentiful breakfast - and you can place your personal coffee order with Ricardo! The staff worked hard to keep the breakfast room very well supplied and the tables constantly cleared and cleaned. Tables had linen tablecloths and napkins. A varied selection of breakfast foods each morning. The rooms themselves are of an older style in keeping with the hotel. The bathrooms are fully updated. Black out curtains and air conditioning. There are 2 elevators.

If you don't find a parking place in the street, you can park your car in the garage (12 euro per night). I liked the "old" Italian character of the hotel, good breakfast and nice terrace where you can have a drink.

Review 44：Lovely, old hotel with modern conveniences. Good lighting and good water pressure in shower. Mattress very firm. Easy walk to everything. Popular with business travelers as well as tourists.

Review 57：2nd time we've stayed here. The staff are friendly and helpful. We were given a room overlooking the street with a large balcony. Very comfortable beds, air con that worked - super little hotel. We'll stay here again! Parking was free, right outside the door and there's a pretty garden to relax in. Plus breakfast is included.
