Reviews for LM Hotel
Review 1:The wifi signal is weak in the room. But works fine in the courtyard. The staff mentioned they had it scheduled to fix after the holidays. I wouldn't let this minor thing turn me away. Not to mention all inclusive hotel would charge extra fee for WiFi daily.
Review 2:It is cozy. Nice setting by the water. A natural pool. We saw fish there. Very nice staffs. They made our stay much more memorable. They let us use their snorkeling gears even though we didn't join their boat tour. Our 7 year old feels totally comfortable with the place. He prefer it over all inclusive 4 star hotel in Cancun. Feel very safe. It is in an exclusive vacation home community area with security guards at the gate. Good restaurants at the marina is only 3 mins drive away. It's a good location for exploring places around. We did tulum Mayan ruin(25mins), cenotes(dos ojos 20mins), akumal bay(15mins). We didn't go to Xcaret and Xel ha, but saw their sign as we drive on highway 307, even closer.
Review 3:The receptionist was friendly but disoriented. He gave us twice the wrong papers to sign and at the end didn't charge our card properly. The was quite a strong Smell from the toilets and the tiny pool outside didn't seem clean. Breakfast could be searved only after 8am- so it's inconvenient if you want to go the cenotes early in the day.
Review 4:The location was good- lots of restaurants, a beach and the cenotes almost in walking distance.
Review 5:Breakfast was very Spartan. The orange juice was the best part. It was fresh!
Review 6:Room and its ,location, with balcony giving on a short beach along the marina waterways., with a small swimming hole.
Review 7:It was not made very clear what dining or bar facilities were available, though actually we didn't need them as we went out to eat.
Review 8:Location. Small quiet hotel on edge of Puerto Venturas development, within 10 minutes walk of restaurants, brilliant as base for exploration. good plunge pool coming back hot after a day out.
Review 9:Therefore limited staff. No professional service staff: No chambermaid service on Monday- no clean up or towel change and toilette paper fill up. - Only one towel for two guest, but 2 bath towels. Shower floor does not dry up as drain is higher than the floor. From Tuesday onward chambermaid service was perfect. - Free continental breakfast but no black tea. Once cups served with saucer, than one cup served with saucer the second without saucer, the next time both cups without saucers. But staff willingly and helpful.
Review 10:Very nice little place, stylish, clean and friendly and with a total of six rooms a quiet place.
Review 11:Wifi not available in room, can't really swim in the water the little pool had a coat of oil on it ft the boats.
Review 12:The staff was great, the view beautiful
Review 13:We didn't get breakfast the second day. The employee was late and very reluctantly served one cup of tea. The restaurant/office was supposed to be open at 8:00 and he arrived after 9:30.
Review 14:It was clean.
Review 15:The TV didn't work (was not set up) and even though we asked the staff they didn't fix it for us. The internet connection was poor. It is actually a bit far from the beach.
Review 16:Clean, comfortable room. Semi-private pool, private patio with hamaka, view of the sea canal. We liked the dolphins in the harbor!
Review 17:The bed was terrible! Neither myself nor my husband slept a wink, but everything else was perfect!
Review 18:The staff was super helpful and friendly, free bikes to ride around, very quiet and private, loved the hammocks, the private cove, and the pool. The price was also AMAZING!
Review 19:Difficult to find - make sure you ask security guard at entrance to Puerto Aventuras...he will give you directions Would have been nice to have a smal frig in room for cold water and beer
Review 20:Small (only 6 rooms). All rooms have marina/water view Quiet location - on a street with very expensive villas Bicycle loaners for getting around Clean rooms, nice interior patio Hammocks on individual porch/balcony
Review 21:Location: The beach that is within walking distance had a lot of algae and was not really good for swimming. Also, there is no personel during the night (apparently) because in the morning when we wanted to have our breakfast at 8:30, there was nobody there yet. Breakfast is, as noted by others, too simpel.
Review 22:The room is comfortable and quiet. Swimming pool is really small but nice to have to yourself as it is not a big hotel.
Review 23:The hotel is in a secluded part of Puerto Aventura which is gated. It is quiet, and the rooms are well appointed.
Review 24:Staff was very helpful and attentive. Rooms were very cleann and well maintained. We took our dog with us and the owners treated her very well.
Review 25:It was very quaint and unique. We really liked the pool and lounge chairs right on the canal.
Review 26:Could improve the free breakfast
Review 27:Very nice staff, clean, cozy, you arrive there and you feel you are on vacation.
Review 28:Everything
Review 29:The odour of our room was too strong.
Review 30:Very clean and cozy hotel!
Review 31:Very friendly staff, Quiet place,small boutique,funny
Review 32:Spotty Wifi service
Review 33:Staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms clean, area pleasant
Review 34:Strange people hanging out in lobby. A/C did not work. Hotel felt very abandoned, photos were misleading.
Review 35:The trees in the front yard were nice.
Review 36:This place is great for people who don't like to travel all inclusive. Clean, very nice staff, basic breakfast but still good. I really like the interior of the hotel.
Review 37:Fire ants. Just be careful to walk around them. Breakfast is VERY basic - white bread, coffee, juice.
Review 38:Gorgeous location though a bit off the beaten track….we walked from the main entrance in the heat but well worth it. Architecture and ambience like a moment in southern Italy. Loved the little balcony/beach area by the water. Got to watch the boats. We enjoyed the walk to the area where there were cafes and shops. Beach was close but too windy to stay. We got the hotel on a special deal - worth every penny!
Review 39:really, nothing I can think of...
Review 40:I love the setting of the hotel: after having seen Cancun and the gigantic hotels made for Américains, it was a relief to see our hotel was a little 2-story affair, with a micro-swimming pool on a marina. There was something simple and restful about the hotel and the whole village of Puerto Aventuras is an easy set up of restautants, small boutiques and residences. My husband first recoiled in horror as it is a gated residence... but soon the possibilty of being to walk in the night from the restaurants, to take and leave the hotel bikes on the beach to go for a swim or to be able to park our car without worries won him over....Not for people who are looking for hype and glamour. The rest of us will have a fabulous time ...
Review 41:A bit far from the restaurants. Continental breakfast was served late (9 am). Large groups taking over the lobby and the courtyard while waiting for their catamaran tour. Not enough bicycles.
Review 42:The staff was great. The area was quiet. The use of bicycles.
Review 43:Really nice, clean, I loved the tiles and decor. The staff was great. It was the cheapest place in Puerto Aventuras and close to everything. And the staff did not seem bothered by all our diving gear lying around for the 2 weeks we were there. I would definitely go back.
Review 44:We like this small boutique type of hotel, with only 6 rooms. It is very quiet and clean. It is in an excellent neighborhood, within 5 mn walk to restaurants, marina and dolphin discovery (free shows every day). Very cute room décor with mission style. Staff was very accommodating.
Review 45:The water heater compressor was next to the room and was really loud when it went on but everything was so nice about the place that I could live with it.
Review 46:The hotel was small and quaint, I loved the decor and tile work, there was a patio on the water with a tiny personal beach. The staff was really really nice. It was a small and personal place and they were unfazed by our extensive amount of diving equipment lying around wet during the 10 days we were there. It was also the cheapest place to stay in Puerto Aventuras (which in generally is outrageously expensive).
Review 47:The staff was super helpful. The building was very pretty and clean. Puerto Aventuras was fun to spend some time in, especially because the let us use their bikes and helped us find fun adventures.
Review 48:It was all good!
Review 49:Staff was so so nice and helpful. J.P. at reception was amazing, and the hotel is very cozy and well-located in beautiful Puerto Aventuras.
Review 50:Breakfast (Bimbo Bread) and warm coffee.
Review 51:Last night of a 12 day tour of Yucatan and this was by far the nicest and cleanest hotel that we stayed at. Each of the rooms have a stunning view and a very large balcony.
Review 52:Its a shame the hotel doesn't offer restaurant facilities, Ididn't realise breakfast was not inlcuded if you book online (asmost people do) and could not add it on at short notice, neither couldI get anything to eat when I arrived after a long day and tiring trip, especially when it took a while to find as the address I was suppliedwith was incorrect and it was difficult to locate on a darkresidential street. With a few alterations this would be the perfectsecluded getaway.
Review 53:Great little place with friendly staff and lovely quiet accomodationwith your own hammock.
Review 54:The bathroom is old and needs to be redone. If someone in the hoteltakes a shower the rest of the hotel knows because of the noise
Review 55:Puerto Aventuras itself is a very nice spot to relax: nice beach andgreat places to eat. The location of the hotel is good, the room is ok,especially for the price we paid.
Review 56:It was an extremely disappointing experience, and the internet site ofthe Hotel is nothing but a "lying advertising". We did notstay , as there were no swimming pool ( a tiny bath, next to a dirtyriver) the decoration of the room supposed to be "design" wasvulgar and ugly ( big shoes as chairs...) even if, as far as thedecoration is concerned it depends on your taste of course but what wecan tell is that the reality of the hotel has nothing to do with whatyou see on their internet site. Even the patio is cheap, table andchairs are cheap. Considering the price of the rooms I will notrecommend to go there, and do not dream of a "boutique" hotel,it is not more than a regular clean cheap place. It is far from the beachif you do not have any car, and 10mn walk from any restaurants. We werethere with our 3 kids (16, 14 and 9) but could not stay.
Review 57:one and the same breakfast, butter, coffee, jam and toast
Review 58:great place to relax, complete peace
Review 59:Breakfast very limited, no sun on the terrace before afternoon.
Review 60:Very helpful staff, quiet location.
Review 61:Would have liked a better selection for continental breakfast.
Review 62:The staff was very kind and helpful. We would go there again.
Review 63:Attractive, very clean, excellent attentive service..very friendly.. a very pleasant place to stay. I would return if I were in the area.
Review 64:Price; we paid way too much.
Review 65:Very friendly staff.
