Reviews for Vile Oliva
Review 1:We expected better breakfast from 4 stars hotel. For example, the pastry was not fresh, the choice of food was limited.
Review 2:Good big modern hotel located close to the beach. Nice facilities outdoors - kids playground, swimming pool. Olive trees everywhere )
Review 3:I have never seen a hotel that organises events until 3 am in the morning. We could feel the loud music in our room, we could hear the people cheering and also when the lights went in and out in the event room we could feel it in our room. We were not able to sleep not even a minute until 3 am. I guess that the main concern of a hotel should be the comfort of the guests staying in the rooms and not organizing loud events that last all night and without any noise isolation at all
Review 4:I liked the location and the room was spacious and clean.
Review 5:More or less no cleaning during the stay as toilet seat and bathroom Floor for example were dirty still after cleaning. Beds too soft in our opinion.
Review 6:Lovely hotel with good food (we had halfboard). Petrovac is really nice to stay, hotel close to beach.
Review 7:The building of Hotel Riviera nearby which is under construction worsens view and also road to the beach
Review 8:A good hotel in 4-5* category. Instead of our Enhanced Double room they gave us Superior Double so our stay was very comfortable. Room was cleaned each day. Breakfast and dinner had good quality. I cannot say anything bad about the hotel itself.
Review 9:Most of the waiters language knowledge is limited to the serbian and russian. There should be latch signs in the rooms, with what you can indicate to the staff, if you need anything or do not disturb. And it's not exatly the hotel's fault, but there is a newly built hotel in between the see and the hotel, which is annoying.
Review 10:The room was neat, tidy and absolutely comfortable. We were on half board, so we had breakfast and dinner. And there is just one word for these: Fantastic. We always ate outside on the terrace part of the restaurant, where we spent some memorable time. Limitless fruit juice, water, coffee and tea are also notable. The staff was really gentle. My girlfriend had the birthday, while we were there and they bake her a present cake, amazing!
Review 11:There was a bad smell coming from the air conditioner in the central building of the hotel. Also, there were problems with wi-fi connection on tablets and laptops (hotel personnel was unable to fix that).
Review 12:Lodging, personnel, meals.
Review 13:Nearby one can see half finished construction work
Review 14:Hospitality and professionalism of the staff starting from receptionists to the chef of the kitchen. Pool in the shadows of the olive trees
Review 15:Nice staff from reception to restaurant...Excellent breakfast and dinner...nice villas between lots of plants of oliva...amazing...the best bed ever...nice room and spa centar...value for money...
Review 16:Although it claims to be a 4/5 star hotel it's very basic, the outside pool and hot tub area is very small for the size of the hotel and very dirty water and full of leaves. There is lots of new building work being carried out at the front of the hotel which was noisy and dusty and which also closes of a lot of the sea view. Food is quite basic and not very hot. The hotel bar is dismal, no entertainment in the hotel whatever, unfortunately we had a few nights of rain and was in bed by 9 as once dinner is had, there is nothing to do. Much nicer hotels to stay in Petrovac.
Review 17:We paid extra for a superior room although our view was part building site from the room, the bed was very comfortable,
Review 18:However very few of the restaurant staff speak English. Serbian andRussian is all you'll hear. My Russian isn't bad and ithasn't let me down throughout twicw yearly stays in Russia and theUkraine for many years. Therefore I didn't like it when one waiterwas rude about it. I at least was making the effort and he hadabsolutely no English at all. How many English people speak Russiananyhow? The swimming pool looked a bit green so we didn't use it.Petrovac was a bit disappointing, Quite small and the beach very stoney, quite unsuitable for small children. There were many aggresive mosquitosafter dark in Petrovac. Suggest you don't go in October if you havean allegy to there bites. I got about 15 bad bites even using repellent.
Review 19:Generally a nice hotel with ok food (we went half board). Maid friendlyand restaurant staff generally friendly. A lovely room with a sea viewat a good price. Hire a car and drive to Kotor Bay and Prevat you wontregret it. One of Europe's most beautiful regions. Also not far fromthere the beach at Plavi Horizonte, pure sand and shallow warm water.
Review 20:No table tennis!!!! Working hours of spa: ended at 7pm- to early for people returning from excursions and open at 10 am which is to late.
Review 21:Everything
Review 22:actually nothing
Review 23:Very friendly staff, niceny equipped room. They are charging reasonable prices for drinks and food, not like other 4-5 star 'sharks' on the coast. The hotel was full at the peak of season, but it was not a problem to find a table for eating in the diner.
Review 24:The montenegron style in iøtra modern and classic elegance is a super combination made obviously by futuristic stylists. Also the traditional montenegrin personality and high hospitality is present in modern style. For us, after being around in the world at London, Dubai, Italy and places this has become the best hotel experience ever ... And we joined their membership club for cusyomer contact ... We will return ..
Review 25:Only ona acess to the hotel with baby troley No access to the restaurant by elevator or baby troley
Review 26:AC is not working that great, the parking in the hotel is quite an experience !
Review 27:Nice and comfortable
Review 28:Staff very helply and kind.
Review 29:Friendly staff, clean room, good food.
Review 30:the room was excellent
Review 31:Breakfast although was probably extensive was pretty limited by the time we arrived about 9.30. Small point and didn't effect our lovely stay
Review 32:Couldn't fault the staff. They were excellent. Room was very good with beautiful view of the sea and the plate of fruit on our return from the beach was a lovely surprise!, reception manager was very helpful
Review 33:For the price paid (our rate was 135 EUR per night for superior room) the service was not satisfactory: 1) linen was not changed at all during 4 nights we spent in Vila Oliva, chambermaids changed only towels; 2) there was no free bottled water in the room; minibar was empty as well; 3) the bed was not comfortable to sleep: to my view it was too soft; 4) you have to pay 4-5 eur per person for a plastic chaise-longue on the beach; For similar rates most of european hotels provide much better service. I would never assess this hotel with the rate higher than 7.0 on booking.com comparing to other hotels where I've been.
Review 34:1) Good location: very close to the beach; 2) Quite various dinners.
Review 35:Meals were very basic. Breakfast as well as dinner. Matrass very soft. Many of the employees did not speak english. Parking was in a garage that wasn't finished.
Review 36:Spacious room with nice balkoney. Close tot the beach. Big indoor pool, nice outdoor pool with enough trees.
Review 37:The beach was really crowded, so we went to Sveti Stefan's beach every day when we would like to swim in the sea.
Review 38:It was a wonderful staying for us with two little children for two weeks. Food was very delicious the appartment was really nice. There were playground, playhouse and pool so my daughters enjoyed the stay very much. The old olive trees in the garden was wonderful I can recommend to anybody. Montenegro is a beutiful country with its grand and green mountaines.
Review 39:All-Inclusive system can be improve. I mean, if you request for ice coldbeer, they'll give you glass of beer from 2lt pet bottle... Coffee isnot included. But generally it's worth every single penny!
Review 40:I love the place(location), hotel is calm nice and not noisy at all..All-Inclusive system is good with additional lunch.(Included with thepackage). I went there with my roomie, we were looking for calm place..Vile Oliva is exacltly like that.. Best choice for Family Trip. Nicemeals(open buffet) Im not pork eater but all seems delicious! :D freewi-fi at lobby and poolside... Some rooms can get the signal, which isnear to Pool Bar! ;);) I stayed one of them!
Review 41:Half board included in price but food is very poor and no choice. Very very very dirty dishes. We used only restaurants around.
Review 42:New and clean hotel. Good place, very close to the beach. Seaside view was very good.
Review 43:The staff was very friendly especially at the pool. We stayed in the main building where all rooms were newly renovated and it was good value for money considering this was 3 star hotel.
Review 44:The food choice was poor spiced with flies:) Ideal combination for half-board would be breakfast and lunch, as dinner is served late and thefood is heavy. The range of tv channels leaves much to be desired. Thereare no channels for English speakers and only one local channel.
Review 45:The location is excellent. We stayed at the superior double room andenjoyed the comfort and view.
Review 46:The beds are very soft so after a few nights not so comfortable. Theymainly cater for people from Russia in regards to the food.
Review 47:Petrovac is a lovely area. Nice beach and plenty of nicerestaurants close by.
Review 48:We were accomodated in an apartment at ground floor (not at first floor as the receptionist sayd ! ), in first villa. So it was a little noisy, because the vicinity of the street and restaurant. The worst thing was the invasion of the ants .There were a lot and walking all around the apartment. We told that to the receptionist and she changed our room but at ground floor too . After we opened the terrace door the ants came inthere too. So is better to claim a room at first or seccond floor, where is more quiet and I think the ants are not climbing and you can see the sea.Or take with you from home an insect killer spray!
Review 49:The apartament was spacious, the location of the hotel is good, near the beach(150 meters),in a quiet area. The garden is beautiful and provides a lot of shadow , wich is wellcomed after beach. The food is tasty but the same every day. The cleaning ladies do their work properly, towels changed every day , toiletries by abbundance, sheets changed every 5 days. As a final conclusion , for a 3 star hotel , is a very good one . We will reccomand it.
