Review 1：Perhaps quite remote and rural for some however perfect for a country escape. Having a car is completely necessary as well!

Review 2：Stunningly beautiful location, set right in the heart of the tranquil Tuscan hills, near to Gaiole in Chianti and ideal for both an escape to the countryside or as a base from which to visit Siena or even Florence. Staff extremely polite, friendly and helpful on reception and throughout the hotel with excellent knowledge of the area and top tips of things to see or do. Pleasant and traditional room complete with car parking and WiFi included. Breakfast and particularly dinner very enjoyable with a nice menu, many of the dishes being local, regional style dishes. Good overall facilities with pool! Would have ideally spent longer there however even for a shorter amount of time, it's well worth a look, the view of the vineyards and the rolling Tuscan hills certainly didn't disappoint! Comes highly recommended and already thinking about planning another trip, enjoyed the range of wines as well!!

Review 4：The location was fantastic as was the accommodation we stayed in. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the food was out of this world.

Review 5：Bugs were all over the room. Everywhere. Air conditioning did not work. No one bothered to fix it. It's a two star hotel with a four star price. Wine tasting was three small sips. Don't bother. Stay in town in Siena. Overall bad accommodations.

Review 9：Rooms have air conditioning but we rented an apartment which did not. This was not clear on the booking.com site. Cool at night in early July so would have been OK except not all windows had screens.

Review 10：Loved the scenery, environment, amenities, restaurant and staff. Nearby town of Gaiole ten minutes away. Several excellent restaurants nearby in very small towns. Day trip to Sienna was an easy drive and only 45 minutes one way. This place is a bit off the main roads and very quiet but a great spot to relax for a few days.

Review 11：The rooms need refurnishing and renewing. The decor generally needs an up-grade and lighting in some rooms was inadequate. One bathroom in a smallish apartment for 2 couples was less than ideal. The road up to Casa al Vento is twisted, steep, and a bit rough; it did not faze us, but could be challenging for some.

Review 23：Erratic water pressure in the shower. Do not get a massage! There is nota trained masseuse there.We had friends in Gaiole who made our staythere fabulous. Knew the restaurants, castles and sight to see. Might bedifficult to roam around there if there are no family or friendconnections..

Review 24：The location atop a steep hillside.is very scenic, but a bit hard to getto-- up very wind-y roads. Breakfast was great every morning and the multi-lingual staff very courteous and helpful. Great place to relax inTuscany, if you are looking for relaxation.

Review 25：We rented one of the apartments, which was surprisingly big and very nicely decorated. It had a view over the garden and also its own secluded outdoor space, where we had lunch and dinner a couple of times. For breakfast, we opted to go to the restaurant.

Review 26：Being in Italy, you can hardly criticize this, as it is the same in every other hotel we´ve ever been to. However, if one think should be mentioned, it is that the breakfast does not have the greatest selection.

Review 27：Borgo Casa al Vento is a wonderful place. The place is beautiful with comfortable and nice rooms and apartments that will suit most needs, and the staff must be mentioned: they are great; friendly, service minded and attentive at all times. Casa al Vento is situated right in the middle of a magnificent scenery, with plenty of opportunities for both trekking and off road cycling. The wildlife in the area also seems quite awesome; while being out for a couple of hours trekking, we saw no less than four deer, two wild boar and some hares. To add to all of this, the food is also quite delicious. Try it! We loved the place and will certainly go back on another occasion.
