Review 1：The staff were lovely and my partner was able to check in to the room before I even got to gladstone with the room payment. Cheap, affordable, close to shops & train station.
Review 2：staff weren't in office when I arrived but stayed outside drinking and smoking. Told me the keys were in the door to the room but initially told me to go to the wrong room

Review 4：The woman managing couldn't be more helpful, she went out of her way to help us, not only with an issue with other guests but lots of helpful information, she even brought us in a bus timetable from home. Really appreciated her.
Review 5：Could walk easily into town. Was easily located on main route into town, but not the busiest road, so quiet at night. Rooms clean, comfortable and well-maintained.
Review 6：As I was going to arrive late I was worried about missing check-in but the lovely receptionist rang while I was on the road pre-empting my late arrival and made arrangements for me to gain access. Accommodation is regular budget style, you get what you pay for, but great for passing through.
Review 7：Coffee cups were dirty with old stains. The room was not cleaned daily. You could see someone has tried to make the bed, but did not spend more than 2 minutes in the room. Toilet was never cleaned in the four days, with empty toilet roll laying on floor all the time. Floor was sticky.

Review 9：The manager was really nice thoughtout our stay. The room was clean and there was plenty of facilities and free fast wifi. There are many food shops locally.
Review 10：Guests would smoke outside their doors so we had to keep shutting our door until they were finished smoking. Maybe there could be a designated area away from rooms up near the pool or somewhere.

Review 14：I ended up staying a second night at late notice. I think someone had been smoking in room I stayed in on the second night. It possibly could have been smokers outside, and the smoke unfortunately drifted in.

Review 24：We had no hot water for a shower when we arrived. By the next morning the water was hot so I assume the cylinder had been turned off while the room was empty

Review 28：Its not very sound proof. Some of our neighbours was leaving 6:30am and had a 30 minutes chat outside before they left and that woke us up and we heard every word. The pool area was dirty and untidy.

Review 33：For the price I was told they spent on the renovations, they could have been finished a lot better. Not sure if the hotel is aware, but in room 16, the water on the floor pools around the floor drain, and in room 13, there is no floor drain. The water in room 13 was pretty cold both in the evening and again in the morning (not sure if there is 1 hot water system per room or if they are shared). The bathroom in room 13 seemed unfinished, with the door frame being unpainted and plaster dust all over the top of the walls. I thought there was wifi, but when I tried to use it, we needed a password, which we hadn't been given upon checking in.
Review 34：I liked that the bathrooms had been recently done up. The curtains and linens were all new and the bed was fairly comfy. It had a good location, and was easy to find. I checked in very late at night and the lady was very helpful when I rang her, letting me know where I could access keys etc.

Review 36：The motel rooms have been recently refurbished. I loved my modern bathroom, the kitchen facility had everything I needed, the air conditioning was working well, and the internet is fast. Very friendly managers, could approach them at all times. I slept very well and would stay again.
