Reviews for Hotel Le Pozze Di Lecchi
Review 1:The dusty road upto the hill was extremely bad. Nothing for sport cars. They seemed to be forced to keep it in its "original" status, no asphalt and no concrete is allowed. There were aggressive moskitos at the pool. But It was tolerable, and I believe it might be season related. Overall it didn't disturb much.
Review 2:The swimming pool was excellent and well thought. The promenade in the forest to Lecchi and discovering one of the best restaurants I have ever tried.
Review 3:Getting to the hotel is a bit tricky with a low chassis car (due to an unpaved road that leads there); room we stayed in could have been more thoroughly cleaned (especially windows)
Review 4:Amazing location - surrounded by beautiful Tuscan landscape; nice property with great outdoor swimming pools
Review 5:The road to the hotel from the main road was really a challenge for a sportscar with 2-wheel drive. Steep and dirty.
Review 6:Very discrete, nothing but nature in sight. Nice staff and service. Great food, breakfast and dinner.
Review 7:Not easy to find. No transport available to or from the hotel. Once at the hotel staff could not organise transport.
Review 8:Loved the location and surrounding villages.
Review 9:Fantastic location
Review 10:The breakfast is awefull. The cakes are horribles. They seem artificles. So easy and cheap to prepare handmade "crostata". The rooms were little dirty. Mostly windows and toilet. In general definitely this is not a 9.0 rating hotel!! it's a very good 7.5! no more. watch out future guest. The 1.5km countryside path to reach the hotel is unpaved and full of holes. They alert you but with rain it's really tough.
Review 11:I loved the position of the hotel in the middle of a pleasant and stunning area! The hotel has a great potential to exploit. Nice structure, nice story behind the construction. But a 4 stars hotel how is possible a plastic bin in the toilet...and a plastic case for the soap.
Review 12:The restaurant was very good but served only "fine dining" food. There was very little else available. It would have been better if there had been a greater selection of food for lunch, such as light snacks or salads.
Review 13:excellent friendly staff. Great location for touring Chianti area. Beautiful setting with very good swimming pool. comfortable and spottlessly clean rooms
Review 14:The shower cabin was too small, only 70 cm wide. The breakfast was sober and basic for a 4star hotel. The road from the street to the hotel is an earthen and sometimes steep path. If you book this hotel and you come by car, it is better to have a jeep rather than a sports car or even a car with a reduced chassis.
Review 15:The restaurant of the hotel is really top. The food is delicious and of high quality. In this hotel you can really relax.
Review 16:Room decor was a little austere and of cheap quality.
Review 17:The hotel is beautifully situated surrounded by lavender and olive groves. The swimming pool is lovely. The room decor is a little austere but clean. The main attraction of the hotel is the restaurant. It is worth a long trip in and of itself. Try the truffle infused quail.
Review 18:Depending on one's objective with the stay the location can be seen as awkward as it is some way from the nearest town. It's a badly maintained dirt road access and it is a bit of a drive if one does not want to eat at the hotel restaurant.
Review 19:Nice place in a very private and secluded location. Very good restaurant. Nice pool. Peaceful and quiet.
The Fine Print
Please note that the outdoor pool only opens during the summer and it is not heated. To drive to the hotel, guests need to follow a dirt road for one mile, which passes through woodland and vineyards.Pets are not allowed in common spaces.
