Review 2：Anne, the owner, was friendly and helpful assisting us with local knowledge of Kalbarri. She was busy but always had time for a chat. Will be recommending the Pelican's Nest to family and friends especially from overseas.
Review 3：The owners made it special. They are a good example of the kind Western Australian. We regrettably only stayed one night. Even so the owner offered and drove us down to the local pub out of kindness. We liked the facilities too with decent wifi and a cute ensuite room. Good location in town.
Review 4：You can't leave the air-con on while you're out (I was travelling alone and only had one key) so the room was hot when I got back from walking the gorges. The air-con's effective, though, and by the time I'd had a cold shower the room was cool.
Review 5：The room was clean, comfortable and modern. The staff were helpful in suggesting things to do and see in Kalbarri. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others. I was pleased to find that the room I was in looked just as it did in the pictures!

Review 10：Doorways to joint bathroom are a little close together - a bit of a squeeze even for my little torso. Mattresses are very firm and uncomfortable, almost like sleeping on a table.

Review 12：fridge in room wasn't working which we didn't realise until the next day when our food was warm and could not be eaten. Manager was told but not bothered and just turned the fridge off as it had happened before. There was no offer of compensation for the food we had to throw away
Review 13：Hot water system needed to be replaced as it broke down. I tried to have a shower prior to going out but no hot water. It was replaced so a hot shower was available after we got back.
Review 14：Staff was awesome and very knowledgeable on local sights and restaurants. We 're French and thought that was the highest customer service we received so far in Australia.

Review 18：It was a perfect accommodation for myself sister and parents. Stayed two nights while in Kalbarri. Was right in the centre of town. Had wifi but I think we were just a little to far from reception to pick it up but we didnt really need it but could of got it if wanted. Had everything you need for long stay all cutlery, plates, washing machine, clothes horse, tv, dvd player, cooker, microwave, toaster etc! No complaints did the job and was great value for money.

Review 20：My room had a broken window. The stove does not work well. Some plates are too hot. My toilet door latch was broken. Then the exhaust fan in the kitchen is falling apart ,it makes noise whilst running and the switches were also falling apart.

Review 40：We were not happy to find that shared facilities meant that we had to share the central bathroom facilities with the next door unit. We thought shared meant with the 3 possible people within our booked 3 bedded unit. We were wrong. It was a very strange set-up and out-of-date to our way of thinking. Ensuite facilities were available in rooms on the second floor, $20 extra, but I was unable to manage stairs. To the manager's credit, she did not book the next door unit to us, as they were not busy.
Review 41：Receptionist/manager absolutely went out of her way to help us plan our forward journey, looking for wild flowers. We really appreciated her kind help. She also changed our unit to one that catered better for guests with a disability (me).
