Reviews for Agriturismo I Fuochi
Review 1:Very friendly host (Lucia) - quiet and beautiful location on hill top with great view - facilities were excellent - closely nearby Montepulciana and Cortona (18km), Sienna within 45min drive and Pienza and Monalcino also nearby
Review 2:Nothing, it exceeded expectations!
Review 3:The location of the hotel was absolutely wonderful and the family who owns the Hotel is even better. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was by far our best hotel of the vacation and we can't wait to go back again. The apartment was amazing, the views were amazing. Such a wonderful place and if you are traveling in this area it's a must stay!
Review 4:You need to bring all supplies with you - coffee, tea, etcetera and there are no close places to shop for groceries, so come prepared.
Review 5:Great place to stay: large comfortable rooms & beds, nice pool, excellent location for exploring southern Tuscany hill towns. The 3 bedroom is perfect for large families or 3 couples. We wished that we would have stayed longer.
Review 6:There is nothing we did not like about this experience. However, disregard some of the map directions. All you need to know is that the skinny road leading to the place is on your right about 1.5 kilometers east of the village of Viliano. The sign is small and parallel with the highway.
Review 7:This is a very nice place-a wonderful country setting. We had lots of room. The owners were friendly and helpful. They make wine and olive oil and both are great. We bought a bottle of each. The kitchenette has anything you might need. Be sure to visit the supermarket (there is one in the old town area of Montepulciano-just a couple of blocks from the fortress) beforehand so you will be stocked up with provisions. This was our first experience with an Agriturismo and we loved it.
Review 8:We felt bad about asking Rosanna for salt, pepper, and sugar our first night, but she loved providing anything that we needed.
Review 9:We loved our apartment, it was very comfortable. We did a lot of cooking, Rosanna and Dino were very helpful in giving us whatever we needed or telling us how to get to the local store. We really liked their wine and olive oil. Rosanna even noticed (from our passports) that it was my son in laws birthday, so she baked him a birthday treat! Laundry is available for a small fee. Dino and Rosanna speak very little English, but we always got by. Their daughter, Lucia, was very helpful when she wasn't at work. Yes, we would stat here again!
Review 10:Hosts were excellent, treated us just like family
Review 11:There were problems with the internet but it was the internet company, not their router
Review 12:This was one of the best places we have stayed in Italy. Theaccommodations were very comfortable, spacious and we loved the woodburning fireplace. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and thebathrooms large and modern. The views were awesome. The best part wasthe family that ran it. They are very special people who immediatelymake you feel at home. When our group couldn't find a cooking class,Roseanna kindly offered to show us how to make pasta and a wonderfulveal sauce. We then had dinner with the family and they started withfresh sliced meats and cheeses, wine and then the main course. Theywanted nothing for this awesome experience. We can't say enoughabout this place and the family. It is close to most sites but you willneed a vehicle.
