Review 1：Fantastic staff who went out of their way to help us and make our stay enjoyable. From the receptionist who planned our bus trip so we ould make the ferry we wanted to the waiter (Dominic) who was so helpful and made our baby daughter smile every day. Food, all of it sourced locally was also top rate.

Food is great and fresh, dinner is excellent in restaurant with sea-view , service is more then welcoming, location is amazing, comfort, design of rooms and hotel is beautiful, breakfast is more then enough. Review 5：wifi, but it's the all-italian problem, i guess :) The room was rather small. I think they should get an iron. Be careful if you come by car from Portoferraio - it seems to be close to the hotel from there but actually will take about an hour and the road is hard.

Review 6：The hotel is great! It's the best type of the hotel for me - homelike, with a lot of cozy places for relax. I just loved the drawing room - it was extremely pleasant to spend an evening with a cup of tea there! all the hotel is filled with pleasant details like pillows, candles. Our room had a very pleasant herbal smell that made you relax at the moment you enter the room. The sea is extremly clean. Breakfast is good.

Review 12：This place is great. Lovely facility and location and very friendly staff. When the waiter found out that I was a vegetarian the offered to create a vegetarian menu for the following week. It was not necessary since I was unfortunately leaving the next day. It's also a environmentaly friendly hotel which is a huge plus for me. I hope to come back to Gallo Nero one day.

Review 14：Not only was Elba the most beautiful place I have been, but Hotel Gallo Nero is by far the best hotel I have had the pleasure of staying at. Every staff member was friendly and patient, particularly considering we don't speak Italian. The hotel has beautiful rooms, spectacular views, garden paths to the beach, and delicious food. Don't miss this fantastically priced gem in Elba!

Review 16：A lovely scenic seaside village. Lots of places to sit in the grounds and gardens. Stunning views. A good quality, intimate hotel which is quiet and restful, a good place to relax! Good service. Early breakfast was provided in room as we had an early morning departure.

Review 17：Wonderful place with great staff & dining facility. A beautiful walk to the beach through garden with flowers and fruit trees. The beach is just the right size with two restaurants and 2 shops, it is a small village with great atmosphere. The hotel had all the services and made sure that we have everything and more. Recommended without hesitation!
