Reviews for Kise Beach Palace
Review 1:Staff seemed bit cold, not that polite as Japnese people but perhaps normal in Okinawa.
Review 2:Not bad if you can get a deal but our room seemed quite old. The mattress was vey soft and on the streetside (no beach view) so you can easily hear traffic. Early check-in was not possible. Beach and bathroom was nice.
Review 3:The room I booked is face to mountains, but they upgraded it into seascape room when I checked in, which made me so happy. You can just walk to the Kise bus(No.120) station within 1 min and the Family mart within 3mins.
Review 4:It was hard to get anywhere else on the island (eg nago) unless you hire a car
Review 5:The beach was the most amazing beach I have ever been to. The slides in the water was a wonderful surprise
Review 6:Sometimes some crows would steal your food put on the balcony's table. If you don't leave food outside they won't bother you.
Review 7:The view of the beach is very very lovely. Stuffs can speak English and were friendly and helpful. 5 mins walking from Kise beach bus station which is convenient for travelers bringing luggages. 8 mins walking could lead you to a small supermarket and restaurant which offer local Okinawa food. I am happy with the service and location.
Review 8:Beach close at 6pm. Staff told us the beach close at 6pm when we were just stared enjoy the beach. Secondly, we are required to pay for the beach chair, we were surprise why it is not free for hotel guest...
Review 9:View is marvelous!
Review 10:room facility in mountain side room is out dated but sufficient.
Review 11:beautiful ocean view. Front staffs are very attentive and friendly. Lobby area also relaxing.
Review 12:1. Angry with incorrect phone no. was inform by booking.com ... when input in our car GPS ....we drive to the wrong place, waste a lot of time to found the correct location of the hotel, booking.com must correct it and improve! 2. We book 4 persons room through booking.com but the hotel only gave 2 double bed to our 4 persons,....not 3 beds + 1 bed, the room inside only have 2 people materials... not for 4 people.....everythings was not enough for 4 people, not satisfy with that arrangement!
Review 13:Room size big with balcony, good seaview, nice staffs, good parking service
Review 14:Only having wi fi in the lounge area. Japan are so far ahead when it comes to technology having wi fi in all areas is a must. Come on guys get it installed. Shop in hotel was a little expensive even for hotel prices. We used Family Mart which was a 2 minute walk away.
Review 15:Nice, clean and friendly....just like you would expect when in Japan. Location was good for exploring the North but it is recommended you hire a car.
Review 16:There are a few restaurants nearby so you have not much choice.
Review 17:The hotel is just in main route 58. Even if you don't drive, you can take bus 120 to there from airport. The room is huge but dated, but you can see the beach and hear the waves. All rooms are faced beach. Absolutely great value of beach hotel in this price. We stayed there for 3 nights. The breakfast is very good with nice view, a lot of food selection. The location is very good too. It takes 3 minutes drive to nearly Busena Terrace Beach Resort and you can view tropical fish in underwater observatory boat. Within an hour drive to Aquarium.
Review 18:Wall paper was very old and a bit dirty, wc smelled bad, the lunch in the restaurant was very bad quality
Review 19:Great ocean view, location, beach, spacious room
Review 20:My friends and I went for a few days to Okinawa. The hotel is perfect to relax for some days. It is a beautiful hotel next to the beach, the staff is very nice and speak English. The room and the bathroom was big, clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast is included and you can also eat western food if you want to. Kise is close to the city Nago and very central if you want to travel around the island. They have limousine buses which will bring you directly from the airport to the hotel.
Review 21:The parking -- there is limited parking space and thus you will always need to leave your car keys at the front desk and ask them to park for you instead
Review 22:Rooms are spacious and the views from balcony are breathtaking. Very relaxing area in lobby as well as their beach.
Review 23:room carpet old, smells
Review 24:Friendly staff, nice restaurant
Review 25:Old carpets , pool and beach closed when we stayed. Lots of Chinese tourist so busy at breakfast
Review 26:Right on the beach and easy access from Naha
Review 27:Balcony face to the beach. Nice View.
Review 28:Over all the hotel is a bit old Open hours for the beach is not felixable
Review 29:Staff recommendation for dining & sightseeing
Review 30:Good swimming facilities.So funny!
Review 31:Only twin bed rooms, no doubles. Breakfast awful, decor very dated
Review 32:Amazing beach and natural surroundings
Review 33:You don't have a relax time place like a coffee time beside the beach..
Review 34:The view is beautiful.
Review 35:Size of the room very big
Review 36:No wifi in room The service desk not very helpful Breakfast quality is so-so
Review 37:Beach front Spacious room
Review 38:-View from the room -Breakfast has lot of choices to choose from -Restaurant and shop at the hotel
Review 39:Very nice seaview Excellent Staff Good location, but you need a rental car!
Review 40:Nice clerks, wonderful breakfast, terrific beach.....I'll be back.
Review 41:During the taifun staff was very friendly and proffesional.
Review 42:Nice beach view,, Good location Staffs are helpful
Review 43:The hotel is a bit old.
Review 44:The room is spacious and clean. The view from the room is nice. The hotel is right next to the beach and my children can access to the beach easily.
Review 45:We were very unhappy with the cheap electric thermos in room madeentirely of plastic which gave polymer flavored hot water. Plastics areunstable and give off dangerous cancer causing compounds when heated. Noone uses these anymore for this reason ... please get rid of them...Replace with glass or stainless steel inside container.breakfast good ... but very little variety during 6 day stay. We came back tired & hungry one evening so we ate at hotel lounge by the lobby. We were served a rather tasteless, stingy soba dish X2 with canned tuna costing a whopping $25 (including 10% discount coupon) due to added table charge. WE WERE BOTH OFFENDED THIS "RIP-OFF" CONSIDERING THE PRICE WE WERE PAYING FOR THIS HOTEL. (generally speaking, all Hotel lounge food is notoriously sad & overpriced... but this was insulting.) little detail: Would be nice if someday (during your next remodel) to add tile to genkan entrance as carpet was rather shabby looking.
Review 46:Tastefully designed building attentive & courteous staff prime beach location We both really liked the feel of the place and the understated elegance of the lobby setting with its beautiful 'woven-wooden' ceiling and classic fixtures. Very lovely. suggestion: (would be nice to have a simple lattice screen, or something... that doesn't block the light... between desk & sitting area to shield against people-traffic at check-in... to create a more psychologically separate & tranquil space.)
Review 47:no wifi only hard wire in room, you definitely, need a rental car to see this northern half of okinawa. Be aware that no English spoken, could be an issue for some.
Review 48:ocean view, spacious room
Review 49:Interior looks a bit old. The room got some smell but improved a lotafter opening the window and turning on air conditioner
Review 50:Directly next to the beach Very spacious room
Review 51:It is 1.5 hours drive from Naha. There is few shops around.
Review 52:The hotel has a high value to cost ratio according to our standard. It is right next to the beach and all rooms are facing the East China Sea. Breakfast and dinner were very rich in variety.
Review 53:Beautiful location on west coast of Okinawa overlooking the East China see. Clean quiet beach with easy access from hotel. Turn left (north) on the road outside the hotel and it is a few minutes walk to a Family mart store for provisions. We found a few good restaurant along the road too. The hotel info says take bus no. 120 from the airport. The cost is about 1800 per person. But it took us 3 and 1/4 hours so not much fun. I would book a hire car if I did the journey again.
Review 54:Beach closed too early. It is only opened from April until the end of September, however, it is still quite warm during October.
Review 55:It was really great value for money. The rooms were spacious and each room faces the beach with a balcony. Buffet breakfast was great.
Review 56:Too many families with small kids.. Way too many. Far away from the airport, bus takes about 1.5h. Everything costs extra
Review 57:Lovely staff and great food at their restaurant. Nice beach and possibility to rent a car close by
Review 58:hotel is a bit old but still acceptable at such a price for 3 bedrooms including 3 breakfasts
Review 59:at such a budget price, room is considered big (3 beds) including 3 breakfasts. less than one minute walking to the beach! location is considered close to ocean aquarium (40 minutes), pineapple park and fruits land (20 minutes).
Review 60:Most rooms come with twin beds and not double beds.
Review 61:The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. There was cable tv and asafe in the room. The view from the balcony was heavenly and a welcomesight every morning. Though it was not stated at the time of booking, daily breakfast was included and there was a spread every morning. Themenu was rotated in three-day segments. The food was tasty and hearty. The marine sports shop at the hotel was also another positive.Snorkelling, sea biscuit and banana boat trips are available at pricescomparable to the other beaches at Nago and Motobu. Bring your own breadfrom breakfast to feed the fish if you go snorkelling. The hotel isconveniently located if you are driving. It is located on Highway 58 andalso near the exit for the Okinawa Expressway. About 15 minutes driveaway towards Nago, there is an A&W, Yoshinoya and Mcdonald's;all open 24 hours. There are also supermarkets, pharmacies, 100 yenstores and bookshops near the restaurants. All in, a good home-base toexplore the Northern side of Okinawa.
