Review 2：This is an excellent hotel that is maintained to the highest standards, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The food is very good, particularly the gala dinner and complementary afternoon tea.

Review 4：This hotel is in a fantastic location near the quiet village of Meransen up in the hills overlooking the Pustertal Valley. It is spotlessly clean and the half board option is excellent value with well cooked, refined dining with perfect sized portions (not huge or stodgy!). They really have thought of everything with a rucksack and umbrella for use during your stay; they even have a selection of hiking sticks available. The Almencard which guests get on arrival entitles you to use the Jochtal and Gitsch cable cars free of charge, ideal for accessing a variety of long and short walks. The staff are all excellent, and the attention and care given by the family who run this hotel really shows. It helps if you can speak a little German.
