Reviews for Hotel Panoramic
Review 1:Room was not fully ready when we arrived - no pillows on the bed, and one reading light was not working. We were offered a different room but declined.
Review 2:Terrific view from hotel; price was very reasonable given the high quality of the facility; on-site parking readily available; good breakfast for a reasonable price
Review 3:We found bugs (not sure if they were bed bugs) on the sofa and many dead falling out the curtain. When we told about the bugs at reception, the lady told us that is normal in the country side. We have been to contryside hotels before and I can tell this is not normal. The pillows are not comfortable at all. Very poor breakfast for 5 euros - don't pay for it.
Review 4:Nice location, overlooking Montepulciano. Clean, big bathroom.
Review 5:Nothing stood out as negative.
Review 6:Amazing location but definitely for those with a car willing to explore. We got an older room which was fine. Pay a little extra to get the more recently updated room which appeared to be well renovated. Don't miss the vineyard further down the road on which the hotel lies. It's also a short drive to nearby hot springs and of course the lovely town of Montepulciano. Breakfast is a nice added touch for a great overall experience. This is a simple place so don't expect too much.
Review 7:It was very difficult to find. We saw their lit hotel red sign from themain road but did not see panoramic. After driving for so many hours andgoing to a new town, looking for it was very irritable. We stopped twiceand asked for direction but still did not find it. We passed the roadthat leads to the hotel thus we end up towards Saint Albino. On our wayback we saw the hotel's sign with arrow. It was hard to see as thesign was not clearly visible (in the dark) and the lights next to it wasnot fully lit. This is the second entrance to the hotel. This road issteep and curvier that via Bianca and does not have street lights. Mysuggestion is: to put a sign on the corner of the main drag and viaBianca for ease and visibility of finding the hotel. Maybe add a neonlight on this sign as well.Breakfast was okay. Maybe add more protein for breakfast like bacon, scramble eggs, and etc. Less cakes. Dinner is not available at the hotel.
Review 8:Magnificent view of Montepulciano from the hotel. Lovely view from ourterrace. Beautiful surroundings. Comfortable bed. I love the hugebathroom. Very quite. Huge Bedroom. Helpful staff esp. Claudia. Perfectplace to use as a "home" base if you want to visit variouslittle towns of this beautiful part of Tuscany such as Montepulciano,Valdichianna, Val d'Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, Bagno di San Fillipo.
Review 9:Check bed linen for cleanliness before use, ask for replacements if necessary.
Review 10:Great location on a hill top, 5min. drive to Montepulciani center, spacious areas, very good ammenities.
Review 11:The hotel was in an absolutely beautiful location in Tuscany. The staff were friendly and spoke English. There were smaller rooms available, and I thought they might give us one of the smaller rooms because we booked using Booking.com. They gave us a wonderful, big, airy room with a large bathroom. We stayed an extra night because the hotel was so wonderful. Breakfast was included. I would love to go back and spend a week!
Review 12:No air conditioning in October- needed a little due to humidity. The beds and pillows were the worst part of the stay...rock hard!
Review 13:Beautiful features - clean and great location.
Review 14:Great get away outside the city but hard to find especially if dark. Luca who worked at the hotel was great arranged for a wine tour and taxi'd us to and from dinner.
Review 15:There is no ventilation in bathroom. Make sure to request amenities, if want to (parking, balcony, floor etc...)
Review 16:Location is perferc to relax after day trips. Good base to stay in Val D'Orcia. Nice patios all over the property. Stuff was very helpful, especially Luca! In evening there is complementory cofee / tea and soft drinks in bars. Very good breakfast. Views are gorgeous. Sunrises. Rooms are nice and clean, reception area is welcoming.
Review 17:The Economy Double room we were given is part of an un-refurbished part of the hotel, I would guess. Although the corridors and the reception area looked very good to us, the room was a disappointment. The furniture is decades old and unkempt, the plastic shower curtain, the plastic bathroom stool and other features are uninviting, so to speak. To be fair, when checking in we were offered the possibility of moving to another room after the first night (we spent two nights), but at the current rate (not the Booking.com rate) . We thought it was not worth the effort, we just wanted to visit the region and use the room to sleep in, after all.
Review 18:Lovely lady at the reception when we arrived. Nice views and outside facilities (pool, tables and chairs to enjoy the views while sipping your coffee etc.
Review 19:The breakfast buffet consisted of mostly sugary tarts and cakes. The hotel does not serve a lunch or dinner so you are forced to dine elsewhere. That is sometimes inconvenient.
Review 20:The view is truly panoramic and thru rooms spacious and modern. A very comfortable place.
Review 21:A little further from Montepulciano than we would have liked, not walking distance.
Review 22:Beautiful views over surrounding countryside. Lovely hotel. Quiet pool set in pretty gardens.
Review 23:The panoramic view from atop a hill near Montepulciano is beautiful. The hotel itself is beautifully renovated (4yrs ago) and the quality of the amenities is excellent. I would rate this hotel 4 stars. The staff is most accommodating. Given the location atop a hill you will need to arrange with the hotels driver, Luka, to take you to the nearby towns you would like to visit as there are no buses or other means if you do not have a car. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and hope to return!
Review 24:Breakfast is fairly basic. Signposting to the hotel could be improved.
Review 25:As the name implies, fabulous views and comfortable hotel with good value for money.
Review 26:There are three tiny problems: quite slow Wi-Fi, noisy ear-conditioning, and cheap breakfasts. I would be happy to pay a bit more for more varied breakfasts.
Review 27:This is an absolutly fabulous hotel. One of the best holiday hotels we have ever stayed. Our room was large and very well equipped. The view from the hotel is stunning. We will return to the hotel in the next year.
Review 28:Ability to get cold drinks was via vending machines in the bar. No restaurant facilities for lunch/snacks etc.
Review 29:Cleanliness. Staff. WiFi. Very secure for children.
Review 30:Breakfast a bit of a non event. Not much selection.
Review 31:Staff very helpful provided shuttle into town. Waited while we looked around cathedral and then took us to town. Came back to collect is.
Review 32:Not only is this a little gem with a fantastic location to explore the area , it is family run and therefore very personalized to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We were there in the busiest of times, July, and they took great pains to rearrange our rooms to accommodate us. The rooms are clean , and newly redone. The AC really works. And the pool and grounds are a great way to unwind after a long day.
Review 33:Not very personal service, breakfast was so-so and no lunch/dinner served
Review 34:Very clean and new facilities and rooms, great pool area, large rooms, great panoramic view from hotel, convenient locations with 10-15 mins drives to Montepulciano and Pienza
Review 35:The only negative would be lack of lunch & dinner facilities however we had a car so we were easily able to drive to nearby town for wonderful dinner at 3 Stelle restaurant.
Review 36:Beautiful modern hotel with every necessity in the rooms, even piped radio in the bathrooms! Quiet location, plenty of parking and great pool area, idyllic setting with marvellous views of Tuscan country side.
Review 37:Generally unhelpful and unfriendly staff. Useless wifi and poor atmosphere of so called "hotel". Dangerous road exits on blind corners. Non existent tourist info. Small TV. Not suitable for long stay in my opinion.
Review 38:Location, room size, pool and views. Bottle of wine on departure Nice thought but did not overcome shortcomings over 10 day stay.
Review 39:The male manager (middle-aged, dark hair) was impatient, not very friendly or welcoming and came across a bit condescending and rude. Not a good first impression!
Review 40:I liked the large, clean bedrooms and washrooms, the friendly greeting on your way in, the breakfast buffet & the complimentary tea/pastries and water near the front desk.
Review 41:The TV had some problem with the volume but at the end we could reconfigure it.
Review 42:The location, cleanliness, very well kept, huge bathroom with great amenities. The beds were comfortable and it has free on site parking which is very convenient for road travellers to Tuscany.
Review 43:The staff on arrival and throughout our stay were not as welcoming as you might expect from a hotel. The room was a great size, however we had a view of a huge tree and car park, so we're not able to appreciate the "panoramic aspect of this hotel. Unfortunately our room had a great problem with ants. In terms of breakfast, this was alarmingly dissapointing. The breakfast was shop bought, the waitresses ran around and forgot other as it was busy on this occasion. Plates were left empty and most tables left uncleaned.
Review 44:I liked the huge and spacious rooms
Review 45:Nothing we disliked. Staff were friendly but not over informative, but that may have been a language thing.
Review 46:Peaceful, panoramic setting in the hills close to Montepulciano, which is also a beautiful place to visit. We stayed for 2 nights as a rest stop on our trip from Pisa to Rome, so we didn't explore the local area that much. Really spacious, well appointed, clean rooms. Fantastic views from the hotel grounds with nice seating areas to take it all in. Low key, quiet hotel. There are no restaurant facilities so you will need to go out for lunch and dinner.
Review 47:Breakfast is tipical Italian. Sweets. Hardly anything salty.
Review 48:Enormous rooms, new (or recently rebuilt) hotel, all digital, clean, big big bathroom. Receptioner spoke our language, elevator, parking
Review 49:The guy at the reception desk who obviously was too much interested in his tv program and did not bother to hide it. First time I ever saw such an unwelcoming guy/ The following day, the lady at the reception was very warm and lovely.
Review 50:Truly beautiful. No wonder it is part of the 100 best Italian hotels. Usually you wonder why an hotel is **** for it is regularly overrated. It is the exact opposite in that case. It is a wonderful ***. Our only regret was to leave too soon.
Review 51:It would be nice if they served hot breakfast.
Review 52:We liked everything about this hotel as it is really a gem with spectacular views and very close to Montepulciano.
Review 53:- Breakfast was poorly organized, with food running out quickly and taking long to be replaced. - The A/C was very noise in our room.
Review 54:- The room was very spacious and comfortable (apart from the noisy AC). - Staff was friendly and helpful. - The location is perfect, very close to several charming Tuscany villages.
Review 55:It is easy to miss the hotel coming from the main road; more road signs would help. The room could be more charming, perhaps with some pictures; it is a bit austere.
Review 56:Very clean, very nice view, very large rooms. Very close to Montepulciano.
Review 57:This hotel more suitable for travelers by car
Review 58:It's great hotel! Everything was perfect! When you arriving and see the city-landscape it's fantansic! Great huge rooms Good breakfast Very friendly and welcome personal
Review 59:The breakfast was too "Italic". After 7 days in Italy again was (in addition to sweets)bread, cheese and "prosuto"(hope I wrote correct). Not too much choise.
Review 60:Staff professional and workin well. Location for those who likes Toskana is perfect. A lot of wine yards in surrounding.
Review 61:Accessible only by car. Switches in the bathroom are regular and located inside, therefore when entering during a night it is hard to find them in the dark. Huge sink make difficult to rich other side with toothbrush and soap. Small people can forget get closer to the mirror. Huge toilet with narrow circle (in my case it was untighten so most of the time I had to sit directly on the toilet (ceramic). Even magnet strips of bath door was installed wrong and one can't close it tight. Chair in dining room has no support so you sink in it and sit on the frame. There are no glasses in the room, no paper no pencil, garbage bin only in the bathroom. Nevertheless all these only small but annoying details that can't prevent from enjoying the hotel. It certainly worth to be among 100 best hotels of Italy.
Review 62:Excellent location (terrific view, near to Montepulciano). Quite, new progressive interior (a lot of touch or sense switches). Rich breakfast including eggs. Very friendly staff. All seems new and reach, fancy. Soundproof rooms. Swimming Pool. A lot of small roots in the garden and in the forest. Lift. Free parking.
Review 63:dinner option is missing. If you want to dine - you should drive somethere else (and the distance is not always a pleasure)
Review 64:very nice and modern hotel, super rooms, good breakfast
Review 65:- lack of fridge and Tea & Coffee making facilities. -Plumbing was sometimes unreliable - no real choice in English speaking programs other than financial/ news American programs
Review 66:- balcony - Quiet - comfortable bed
Review 67:It took some time for me to find way to the hotel from main road, but it may be only my problem
Review 68:I was very surprised by this hotel. This SUPER hotel, should be ranking like 5 stars, but it less. The place is so beautiful, and staff does maximum for comfort of guests. Good breakfast, close to the hotel there are interesting italian towns.
Review 69:We enjoyed our stay hotel is modern beautiful surroundings a bit out of the way definitely you need a car. We loved it so much we will recommend to friends and definitely return again
Review 70:This hotel is perfect for a family of 5 and there isn't anything negative to say about this place. I've stayed here twice and each experience has been great. The staff actually recognized my family when we came back.
Review 71:The hotel has gorgeous views and the facilities are brilliant. I am glad they included breakfast during the stay as well. The staff was friendly and spoke perfect English. They are patient and accommodating. The pool is amazing as well as the olive groves for the kids to run around and play. If you would like an afterhours glass of wine, they have a wine vending machine in the lobby! Free wife, plenty of parking, and only a 5 minute drive from Montepulciano, 25 minutes from Pienza...perfect location!
Review 72:Two minor points: Strange lack of mirrors in the bedrooms, only mirrors to be found in the bathroom! Worth investing in putting a mirror over the dressing table!! Wi-Fi not very good!
Review 73:Clean, modern, good breakfast buffet, good facilities to keep children busy (pool, tabletop tennis, football table etc.), wonderful views! I would go back if I were again in the area!
Review 74:Huge room for our family including very large bathroom so plenty of space for our little girl to run about! Friendly helpful staff, out door table tennis and table football always a fun, excellent pool. Amazing views of Tuscany.
Review 75:There is NO view. I don't understand how people post that there is a wonderful view. From no room can you see Montepulciano. I wish I'd stayed in town and not here. The front reception staff were not friendly, The breakfast was the worst we had in Italy. This hotel has zero charm, no soul...nothing feels like you are in tuscany on the inside. Def a miss....
Review 76:rooms are large, modern and big bathrooms
Review 77:staff were rude, i was ready to walk out before i had even checked in and when asked for help staff did not acknowledge and try to assist. most unfriendly staff I've ever met
Review 78:everything about the hotel was perfect
Review 79:I don't prefer sweet breakfasts. A lot of cakes, rolls, honey, jam, yoghurt. There were no vegetables at all.
Review 80:Space, trees, flowers around the hotel, swimming pool. Very comfortable room and huge bathroom (with 4 radio-canals). Good WI-Fi. Tuscany is a really beautifull place with specific atmosphere. We love it.
Review 81:This hotel is amazing. The location and the view are excellent. Great service. The room was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and luxurious.
Review 82:Breakfast wasn't so good - we couldn't eat anything, the coffee was also bad (it was instant coffee with milk).
Review 83:We had great view on the historic city and the surroundings (It's a quick 5 min drive to the old city). The hotel is designed in a cool modern "hi-tech style" design, with built-in speakers in the bedroom (and in the bathroom) and touch-panels around the room for controlling the lights and music. The WiFi connection was great, with access points all around the hotel for best signal and the connection itself was fast.
Review 84:It seemed to us both to be a wasted opportunity in not having a restaurant with all the available space both inside and out .We did not arrive until 9.00pm and then had to go and find a restaurant. I am sure based on the local alternatives that we tried they would attract local residents and visitors as well as guests staying in the hotel. If staying in the area again I would look for alternative accomodation. Another downside was the dangerous exit on to the main road.
Review 85:The location was very good as was the accomodation.
Review 86:The bedding is very uncomfortable The rooms only have a double bed. If you book the triple, you get a horrible rollaway. Quad - 2 rollaways. A lot of rooms have parking lot view Breakfast is very basic
Review 87:The location of this hotel is perfect It is a very new property The rooms are large It has a pool
Review 88:Perhaps a restaurant or café for lunch. Otherwise could not fault.
Review 89:Fabulous views, great breakfast extra friendly staff and the pool area was sensational. The bathrooms were luxurious and had the latest technology. Wi fi was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. A short drive to the town for dinner where we had the most lovely meal.
Review 90:the air-condition in the room is way too warm.
Review 91:the location and the view were very good,
Review 92:Nothing
Review 93:Everything
Review 94:Views. Staff. Peacefulness.
Review 95:That we only spent one night.
Review 96:Beautiful. Location was good and the hotel has been updated with technology and was very comfortable.
Review 97:Perfect location. Lovely comfortable rooms with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was very good also.
Review 98:Pure breakfast

Review 104:Wifi in you room was dial-up speed.
Review 105:Availability last minute was good.
Review 106:Hot tub/Pool was not heated, was to cold to enjoy
Review 107:Updated rooms, bathroom was beautiful design. Relaxing area, up on the hill

Review 109:Fabulous location with wonderful views. High quality accomodation
Review 110:Breakfast and wi-fi could be better
Review 111:Great location and view, clean and calm hotel
Review 112:Location and views were amazing close to the town of Montepulciano and wineries
Review 113:The place if beautiful, and the staff is very kind with the customer. We really recommend this hotel ! Amazing view !
Review 114:Just needs a tea making facility in the rooms and some music in reception to create a relaxing environment.
Review 115:Pool, view and facilities
Review 116:Location and facilities
Review 117:Very nice location and beautiful grounds. The pool area is beautiful. A nice place to relax.
Review 118:Breakfast should be improved a lot.
Review 119:Clean, spacious, comfortable quad room. We enjoyed the beautiful view and pool!!
Review 120:Quality of breakfast items was excellent, but I wish there were more choices.
Review 121:Clean and upscale interior, bathroom and furniture.
Review 122:Bland breakfast. No WiFi although hotel states they have it.
Review 123:Excellent staff. Room with a view. Pool area among the olive grove.
Review 124:Exclusive location, relatively small hotel with lots of Italian flair and very friendly staff. We realy enjoyed our stay!
Review 125:As mentioned before by meny people, the breakfast is cheap but very meagre.
Review 126:The view, the room, very helpful staff.
Review 127:Lack of bar and restaurant meant you had to drive or depend on one taxi as no where in walking distance
Review 128:Room was excellent, grounds were nice
Review 129:Great view to Montepulchano and Toscana. Nice room. Good breakfast.
