All apartments are housed in a refurbished old building with exposed stone walls. They are decorated in a typically Tuscan rustic style and fitted with marble floors or Florentine terracotta floors. They boast exposed wood-beamed ceilings, and wrought-iron beds. Each is composed of a living room with a cosy fireplace, a fully equipped kitchenette with dining area, and 2 bathrooms. They all have a private patio and views of the surrounding garden and countryside.
Siena is 15.5 miles from the Mascie country house. Florence is a 1-hour drive away.

Review 1：the kitchen was not well equipped by any stretch of the imagination! old coffee maker, no utility knifes of any kind, chipped mugs, broken handle frying pan, mould covered bread cutting board, no soap of any kink in kitchen, etc. did not get the appartment we asked for.

Review 7：The kitchen was poorly equipped - a lack of cooking utensils especially The bed linen/towels were only changed half way through our second week. the laundry room was dirty, the sink blocked and only one washing machine working. the poolside shower was full of weeds and the drain clogged with debris and cigarette butts. the 'boules' area was full of weeds and pieces of polystyrene which we asked to be cleared, but it was never done. The bins around the grounds were full of litter especially the one next to the bbq area and hence attracted a lot of flies. The volley ball area pitch was unsafe in places (manhole cover and uneven ground). The road to the property has shared access to a working quarry with heavy trucks going to and from the quarry - dangerous if you meet one on the track. No signs of 'Le Mascie' from the main road. Yet two perfectly good signs were lying next to a shed in the grounds. Why had they been taken down? The grounds were neglected which was a shame as they had obviously been cared for at one time. Information in folder in apartment was not up-to-date.

Review 9：- Very, very noisy appartments, both inside and outside. Every terrass/patio is situated underneath the bedroom of the neighbours. So in case of nice weather and people decide to stay outside, which is logical, and even in case they behave quitely, you hear all conversations. Wooden floors make the appartment very noisy as well. The route SP 541 via provincale traversa maremmana is only noisy during the weekends. - lots of flies Note, you have to pay 15 euro per person in case you donot clean the kitchen after usage.

Review 12：Amazing countryside houses in the middle of the amazing toscany hills. The houses were renovated perfecty according to toscany's design including the smallest details. Perfect place in one hour drive from every attraction in toscany.
