Review 2：We loooooved the hotel so much. Hotel is amazing.. in the nice area with a nice pool and pool caffe.. We had a "Pascia suite" and it was absolutely fantastic! felt like an arabic princess. Breakfast was great as well!!! i would highly recommend this place to everyone..

Review 3：Although it’s an excellent base, the immediate surrounding area is nothing special. It’s worth studying a map carefully before attempting your first drive into Modica centre - we went round in circles! It’s a pity that the dinner menu didn’t change during our week-long stay.

Review 4：A convenient base for exploring the various old towns in the region and the beaches on the south east coast. Good secure car park. The hotel is lovely – very clean and a modern interior. The grounds are extremely well kept and the swimming pool and surrounding area were perfect for when we returned late afternoon. Breakfast was excellent, as was dinner. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the region.

Review 6：Great hotel, staff is friendly and fluent in english and loved the pool area. Just be warned its best to have a car when visiting since its not close to anything, since parking is available its not a problem though.

Review 7：Poor breakfast. Location "in the middle of nowhere". Park landscape turned out to be a garden situated near road with much traffic. Basic room. No view at all.

Review 10：Balcony was nice overlooking pool. Computer near reception and was able to use printer too to print boarding pass. Staff were very helpful and polite co spidering the language barrier. Car park was secure with locked gate. Nice little treat on arrival to room.

Review 11：We had a genius deal late checkout 2pm. nobody seemed to be aware of this at the hotel and it caused us immense embarrassment at the pool when a member of the restaurant staff accosted us twice at the pool and kept on insisting we should be vacating our rooms although we had informed the reception desk about the genius late check, it spoiled an otherwise lovely stay at this hotel, as this was communicated to us poolside in front of other guests and then another repeat preformance as we were walking through the restaurent to return to our rooms.

Review 15：When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find that we were given a suite instead of the standard room we had booked and this at no extra charge. Unfortunately there was a problem with the lighting in the room and we had to change the room for one night. The next day the problem was solved and we were able to stay in the suite. The staff was friendly and very helpful. This was our second stay in this hotel and we will definitelybe returnin .

Review 16：We had dinner one night at the hotel and it was very good. Only problem was that the menu consisted of a total of 10 items (from appetizer to dessert), and did not change at all from day to day, so you'll need to look elsewhere in town for something to eat.

Review 17：We spent three nights at the Modica Palace Hotel while exploring the Baroque towns of southeastern Sicily. The hotel is well situated for this, although it's off the main road and it's helpful to have GPS to find it. The rooms are on the small side but modern and reasonably well appointed. The room had a small desk and chair, and everything worked as it should. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast each morning was decent. Overall nice place to stay. I'd stay again for a night or two.

Review 27：Modica itself is a small rather forgotten sleepy town, good access point to Syracusa, Ragusa, Sicli and beaches. Hotel however is a oasis in a desert!! Room is modern and clean, landscape die beautifully, just as web sites show. Great services, professional and friendly staff and an excellent restaurant makes all the difference. There are no restaurant near this hotel but no need to go out side. Great seasonal, local cuisine done by very skilled chef. We are from Manhattan NY and my boy friend is a chef, and we were surprised how good this restaurant dishes are. Hotel offered a half board in very good price. Free parking is also a plus. I would come back to this hotel and stay longer next time, and definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Review 28：Away from Modica downtown. There are not much around the hotel, but no need to go out to eat, excellent restaurant in hotel. convenient location to visit beach Sicli, Ragusa and day trip to Syracusa. You need a car.

Review 29：Excellent staff, very attentive, professional and friendly. Restaurant chef serves local dishes that are beyond expectation, with very reasonable price for both lunch and dinner. Not an American portion. Breakfast is offered variety including ham and eggs. Hotel is sleek and modern, very clean. Great landscape with pool. Free parking. We recommend to anyone.

Review 60：The position of the hotel far away from the centre of Modica. No restaurants nearby. The worse thing was although the restaurant was open in the evening they refused to let us eat there because we were not on half board. The journey driving into Modica in the dark was extremely difficult.bad road signs and non- existent road signs meant many missed and wrong turns. For this reason I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel if you visit Modica
