Reviews for La Casa Di Pietra

Review 1:+ Ideal place for someone searching for a true Italy + Great atmosphere at the breakfasts + La Casa di Pietra is run by a very friendly and hospitable family - staying there you feel like you are part of the family + grat value price rate

Review 2:The place was a bit difficult to find.

Review 3:Beautiful accommodation. Super comfy bed and Pina was a fantastic host! I arrived a little late and she waited for me to complete my check in.

Review 4:Far away from tourist places. There is no rooms with bathroom (as we know).

Review 5:Nice place, cosy garden, hospitable owners. Quiet place. The best if you travel by car.

Review 6:There were no problems at all

Review 7:It was in the middle of Toscana, everything was close and we could discover all the places easily by car. On top of that we were very warm welcomed and we got everything necessary for the time being we stayed there, all our questions have been answered, and we got help in anything we asked for. Anyone complaining about the breakfast should go to restaurant/hotel/wellness and pay 3x more money or stay at home.. Breakfast were sweets, croissant, tee and coffee, more than enough for this price. We had free WiFi, not so fast but enough to stay in touch with the rest of the world. Parking was easy, next to the building. Our hosts were very kind and helpful. BEST price/value/experience! :)

Review 8:Wi-Fi speed was not the highest, but hey, we went there to relax, not to surf the net all day!

Review 9:Guiseppina was more than eager to make our stay their memorable (in a good way :-)), we felt at home at once! Even the breakfast she made was served with manners, although she made no fuss about it; she was polite and easy-going at the same time.

Review 10:Just what you expect, a charming hilltop villa in rural Tuscany! The B&B was clean & cozy with use of a small refrigerator & microwave. Pina & Mossimo were most gracious hosts, they even shared a pizza with us & their excellent wine! We had some laughs together as she speaks excellent English. Most enjoyable!

Review 11:Standard italian breakfast, this may annoy some non-Italians. Not a major complaint, more a difference in cultures.

Review 12:Free parking Great English speaking host Very comfortable and clean rooms Beautiful countryside An hours drive to florence, less to Pisa and lucca. Fair price for singles

Review 13:Self service breakfast could be improved by adding some cheeses and cold meats.

Review 14:Beautiful location. Close to Florence and Pisa making it an ideal base to explore Tuscany. Restaurants and shop within the walking distance.

Review 15:Bed was a bit old, but for the price you can easily overlook this.

Review 16:Perfect English speaking, really friendly and hospitable. Nice Italian style environment. Beautiful private garden with bbq facilities. Owners really made our stay good there. Good advice for trips in the area.

Review 17:Beautiful place, very nice staff. Pina is a very nice hostess, her English is very good and she was very helpful with everything. She helped us to find good places to eat. Everything was very clean, breakfast was fair. I loved the location even if it's up on the hill and the roads are crazy sometimes. It feels like it's far away from everything but the neighborhood is still so alive, there are plenty restaurants around. I recommend it by car but it's possible to reach it by public transportation too. I really enjoyed staying there, and I highly recommend it.
