On a hill in the heart of the Chianti area of Tuscany, Hotelito Lupaia is a recently converted stone farmhouse overlooking Montepulciano.
The hotel is made up of 7 charming and unique guest rooms, each of which have beautiful hand painted walls, original wooden beams, antique furnishings and paintings and restored fireplaces.
All enjoy independent access and have private terraces or yards as well as extraordinary views of the surrounding Tuscan landscape with its hills and medieval villages. These breathtaking views can also be appreciated from the hotel’s two-level outdoor swimming pool which is set into the hillside.
Original Tuscan recipes and exquisite wines from the surrounding Brunello di Montalcino vineyards will be served in the restaurant or on the patio during the summer months. The restaurant also uses olive oil produced by its own olive groves.
The hotel can arrange for you to attend cooking classes or cheese tasting events and pride themselves on their hospitality and personal service.

Review 2：.A beautiful and peaceful hideaway Such a gorgeous place, with a panoramic view of the surroundings, including Montepulciano. Cristina the manager is so committed to the place and it's shown everywhere. The rooms are well decorated, paying attention to every detail and you get the feeling you are in a fairytale. We ate there dinner and it was delicious with a great atmosphere. Hope to return again!
Review 3：A unique, quirky and delightful location. Chilling by the pool was great. Evening meal was ok but we preferred heading out to restaurants in Montepulciano.
Review 4：You need a car to go there and you can only find the place with google maps (gps did not found the place). This is not a major issue, as it is amazing to drive around in Tuscany. We didn't mind this at all, but it's something you should take into account if you don't have a driving licence for ex.
Review 5：We love everything there: the location, the view, the rooms, the gardens, the silence, great healthy breakfast, amazing helpful hosts. We stayed a couple of days in 2013 and we loved it so much, that we came back on our honeymoon and we are planning to go back for the trash-the-dress photo-shooting.
Review 6：Nothing to not love here! One word of caution regarding the location though - the dirt/gravel road gets very rough the closer you get to Lupaia. It's rural. We had dry weather, but can imagine the road might get difficult to travel in the rain depending upon the type of vehicle you have.
Review 7：The quiet grace and elegance of working 14th century Tuscan farm. Our suite (Blu) was beautifully designed and large/roomy. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. Staff very accommodating and attentive.

The room we had was in a separate building and was extremely comfortable and private with a stunning view over the valley to Montepuliciano. The lounge was fabulous and all the outside areas were also delightful. We stayed three nights and ate a delicious four course meal for two of them.
