Reviews for Dar El Mouhit
Review 1:No English spoken, only French, which made things a bit difficult. Even though Sale is very close from Rabat, the connection (specially at night) is not the best, it is hard to move around, besides everything is dead in the medina in the evening so very little options to get food. Rooms are a bit overpriced.
Review 2:The house is beautiful and the owner really makes an effort to make you feel at home!
Review 3:Nope
Review 4:The Riad was huge, a lot of rooms and interesting designs. There are two single beds in my room in different sub room, and even within room, the toilet is downstairs, clean and tidy. Mama (I can't speak French and didn't get her name, she said she's the Mama to take care of me) was a great help to me. When I slept there for whole day and didn't come down for breakfast, she was so worried and check me on my forehead to see if I caught fever. When she came to know I had menses, she immediately went out to buy sanitary napkins for me and panting when she came back after 15min. When she noticed I don't like to eat Bread, she gave me some oranges in my room. When I come back late at night, she waited for me at the entrance of alley.... There are too many things she has done that I can't name out all, just within my short 3 days stay. Managing the entire Riad alone, she's good at her daily job and also she has a diamond like kind soul, treated me like her family and takes good care of my 3 nights stayed there. Thank you Mama, hope to see you again in the future :)
Review 5:Finding the place at night time is not easy at all and we didn't get a very warm reception because the place was empty and all the lights in the hotel and the room were off when we arrived. Parking is not easy. No nice restaurants or cafes in the area especially at night time. Not easy to get a taxi inside the Medina area you have to walk a lot. Not suitable for elderlly people who cannot go up big staircases... No kettles in the room... No guests allowed to go to your room even if you are in the family suite which is amazing and has huge entertaining areas...
Review 6:Amazing architecture inside - especially in the family suite. Amina was very helpful and takes care of her guests very well. Nice breakfast.
Review 7:The lady in the Riad was lovely but she didn't speak even a word in english and we don't speak any French. Yet we managed to understand each others. And the location of the hotel is almost impossible to find.
Review 8:It was quite difficult to communicate with our Riad host who spoke only French. But it's not her fault we came to her country and didn't speak her language. She made the effort to get a neighbor that spoke a little English to help us. Go there prepared with some basic French phrases/words and it will help.
Review 9:Approximity to the beach. Easy to find off of main road, although our taxi driver had to ask several people where it was. Take a map printout and not just an address of the place. The Garmin map gps sd card of Morocco did not allow addresses to be put in. I loved the main floor courtyard, it has not been refurbished much, so it has a lot of old and traditional charm.
Review 10:Good place for a short stay, 15 minutes to Rabat by taxi. Amina is a very kind and helpful host.
Review 11:Anima was a delightful person and made everything possible for us to have an amazing stay in the Riad.
Review 12:Lovely lady who cares very much, a highlight of true Moroccan living!!!
Review 13:IT was hard to find. The sound of the mosque at 4.30 was loud and longlasting
Review 14:The roof terras was excellent, beautiful central room, nice guestlady.
Review 15:very hard to find (no sign on the street)
Review 16:interior in beautiful Moroccan style, very good personal service (breakfast despite very early departure in the morning), nice view onto the old part of Salé, not too far from the airport
Review 17:Lokation faar off from where things happen. Hotel very hard to find at night, had to ask vendors in the street.
Review 18:Very hard to fine in a small narrow road, use coordinates for GPS. Parking 50m from Hotel. VER impressive from the inside.
Review 19:Stairs were steep and not easy to climb up and down.
Review 20:The morroccon style decor was impressive. The lady Aminah took good care of us and was friendly. It was a short walk to get to the local bazaar. Easy to call a taxi to other places.
Review 21:The lady who greeted us took well care of us. She only spoke french (and we only spoke a little french), but still she tryed helping us in whatever she could.
