Located in the medieval hamlet of Stigliano, just outside Solvicille, the Relais is 12 miles from Siena. It is surrounded by picturesque countryside and interesting Tuscan villages.
The Relais has retained many of its original features such as wood-beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. Each room is air conditioned and comes with a minibar and satellite TV.

Review 1：Not really a bad experience but the road up to the property was about two hundred meters of bone shaking driving, but this will improve soon as the nearby building work is completed.
Review 2：The peace and quiet and the scenery. The house had a friendly atmosphere and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was really good with a generous range of options.
Review 3：We had the superior room no 1, where the terrace is just outside of the room and people have breakfast in the morning. It was not pleasant to have the noise and limited privacy in the morning. We rather had the a room somewhere else e.g. upstairs by the pool. Unfortunately, lost points on the staff, did not feel welcomed when check-in and asked for other rooms.

Review 7：Most of the beds at the pool were broken, so we had a hard time looking for one that was still okay. The blond lady at breakfast didn't seem to like us. It was obvious that they liked some guest better than others. When my boyfriend asked for advice choosing a restaurant Claudia said to him: 'There is a list of restaurants in your room'. She had no interest of talking to us. But we still had a great time!

Review 18：The staff were lovely, very informative and made our stay one of the nicest in Tuscanny. The hotel is very charming, colourful and with beautiful views. We had a lovely spaceous room and felt right at home. It was also situated in an area that was comfortable for our daily visits to different places in Tuscanny. Superb breakfast too with a lovely variety to choose from
Review 19：Lovely pool, beautiful setting. Friendly staff who can't do enough for you. We had a flat tyre and they were so helpful in assisting us in finding a garage and dealing with the rental company. Just down the road from a delicious restaurant, located near a town (Rosia) with a shop and close to some great parts of Tuscany. Also a lovely spread at breakfast, surrounded by a stunning view. Highly recommended.

Review 41：Location , access to at least a doz good standard restaurants , 20 minutes drive to Siena , 60 mins drive to the chianti Classico wine region and same distance to wineries in montalcino and about an hour from San gimignano- no big deal with a Tomtom . The Relais very price competitive and I we had thought about it it would have been a better deal @ euro 110 per night than euro 2000 for 7 nights , sometimes you learn the hard way , comfortable king bed , spacious room , tv , mini bar and large bathroom + wifi . Just great !!
