Review 2：- The staff. Everybody was extremely helpful/nice. Amazing service throughout our stay. I can't stress that enough - reception and the restaurant's manager were extremely nice/helpful. - The hotel itself. It's clean, pretty, etc. We had booked a suite and got upgraded to a bigger suite with a private swimming pool. The view was also amazing from the room. - The restaurant & breakfast. - I liked the location provided that you have a car - as most places in Sardinia a car is necessary to get around.

Review 3：The fee to go back and forth to the Colti restaurant seemed a bit unnecessary. The experience at the Colti restaurant was worth it in the end.

Review 8：The staff were amazing, extremely friendly, helpful and professional, the ambience of the hotel bar was fantastic, the hotel in general was nicely appointed and the deluxe rooms were spacious & comfortable with a wonderful view over the bay. We also stayed in the senior suite for one night, which was bigger and had a private pool. It was nice, but we actually preferred the way the double room with terrace was appointed. The breakfast was tasty and had a lovely selection of tasty cakes, cereals and other continental items. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for making this an unforgettable holiday. We'd love to Come back soon.

Review 11：Amazing hotel, delicious food and wine in the restaurant. The staff are wonderful - friendly and professional. The boat trip organised by the hotel is wonderful. We stayed there for 1 week for our honeymoon. Fabulous stay. Beautiful location. There are a couple of beaches that you can walk to, and the nearby village is walkable and has some lovely restaurants near the harbour. I recommend a visit to the local agriturismo. Best to rent a car from the airport, as there are some lovely places to visit nearby.

Review 12：The staff pride themselves on their attention to detail and absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them. The Reception Team were wonderful, the Bar Team were attentive and very knowledgeable especially about local wines, then the Restaurant, food is absolutely wonderful and only surpassed by the professionalism of the Manager and his team, my best experience in a European Hotel so far.

Review 14：Everything. Bit far away from everything, so you need a car. Otherwise the hotel is extremely comfortable, breakfast is the absolute best and staff are very friendly and polite.

We had a luxury suite which was fantastic & brilliantly private but the whole hotel comprised small discrete clusters of rooms with traditional architecture. A very relaxing environment.

Review 19：Although private (we had a suite with a pool for 3 nights), you could hear other couples slamming their doors when they came back in at night. Could do with much softer closing doors! Also, you can still hear/see your neighbours as there's not much foliage between them.

Review 29：The hotel was beautifully decorated in a rustic fashion and perfectly situated on the hillside with stunning views all round. Even at the end of the week we'd been there I was still amazed at the views around. Pool was nice and beds always had mattresses and towels available. There is also a jacuzzi for relaxing in just away from the pool but still in the sun. The grounds were very well maintained and even all of the other properties around were well looked after. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and always around to help. Rooms were well stocked and very well decorated again, cleaned daily. Cannigione is only a 10minute stroll away where there are shops and restaurants etc also.

Review 35：Amazing location. Realy friendly staff. Very clean. Good wi-fi sign in our room. There is alot of amazing beaches an hour away from the hotel! It was a bit cold but we used the pool, and right after yhe hot tub. The indoor pool is very nice too. We will definitely come back!

The room was large, beautifully decorated and with a beautiful view of the bay, the beds were very very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice as well. The breakfast provided ample choice and everything was excellent. The personnel was also excellent, both the people at the reception, at the restaurant and the people helping with the bags. The hotel has a decently sized swimming pool and a nice fitness centre and spa. I think the 4 star superior class is fully justified overall.

Review 65：Not only the staff is very nice and warm (apart from some of the receptionist who are just the opposite) but the location and views are brilliant and the restaurant is just very good with very willing service (special remark to the head of the restaurant, seriously nice guy). My wife and I do never come back to the same place, but we've broken our rule with Villa del Golfo and we came back to it. Now we're back at home and missing those drinks by the pool before dinner...

Review 66：Restaurant was expensive with small portions and not very good meat dishes.Not enough choice. Lacked any kind of atmosphere as most guests made other eating arrangements. Long walk to bedroom with several flights of stairs and inclines. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Review 93：Pictures on website not representative of hotel. The room was a far cry from what was advertised and had I known this, I would not have paid what I did. Over priced hotel. The reception staff ladies were cold abd unfriendly. Not the best people to meet when forming an impression when you arrive. The room had some complimentary grapes. Green grapes that had turned yellow and brown. It would have been better not to have served it at all. . Breakfast also had poor quality fruit served. On the day we left we asked for our suitcases to be collected from the room stating we would return to the room before check out. Specific instructions were given to not take two bags. When we returned the cleaners had already arrived and some of our items binned. All the bags had been taken. The best reception could offer was a shower in the spa showers even though this was before check out and we should have been allowed to return to the room. Poor management of the situation. During this it was clear the reception ladies did not know how to manage the situation and spent the time debating what to do in Italian not realising I fully understood what they were saying. Poor service and overpriced.
