Reviews for The Repose
Review 1:Beautiful place to stay in the perfect spot. We had major travel problems and arrived late at nite instead of mid morning. Our Hosts totally took care of us and had a taxi pick us up. Then when we arrived, they had the most beautiful Moroccan dinner awaiting us and brought it to our Suite. It was amazing! Such a great place to stay, we highly recommend it to all. By the way, we were really sorry we couldn't stay longer!
Review 2:The couple who own this rhiad bend over backwards to help you with anything you may need ,they can't do enough for you, everyone here is very friendly and the food is excellent ..it's vegetarian though and Im not ,but even so it was delicious.
Review 3:Staying at the Repose allows you to stay very comfortably in a beautiful riad while located in a neighborhood with all of the day to day goings on of Moroccan families and businesses. The Sale medina is filled with local produce, live chickens and clothing and home goods used by those who live there. a short walk and a rowboat ride away is Rabat with souks filled with artisan goods sought by tourists (and rightfully so). A wonderful way to experience this beautiful place located right on the Atlantic
Review 4:A bit cold at this time of the year, but it is more or less the same everywhere in Morocco, as most places do not have heating. Thick blankets provided, though.
Review 5:Everything: the place is beautiful, the rooms are perfectly furbished, the hostess is friendly and helpful, dinner and breakfast were super. OK, it is Salè and not Rabat, but this was not a problem for us: small boats and tram provide good and quick connections
Review 6:No windows or ac , but it did not bother at this time of year
Review 7:Stylish rooms Tasteful design Great host Delicious breakfast at the cool roof terrace
Review 8:Somewhat noisy late at night - although in a pedestrian zone there seems to be quite a lot of people chatting late at night outside the riad on the street.
Review 9:Location in Salé away from the hurly burly of Rabat and with a very authentic Moroccan feel about it. Jan makes a real effort to make ones stay a real Moroccan experience. Room design and terrace.
Review 10:The 3% added for using a credit card
Review 11:Breakfast was so good
Review 12:nothing
Review 13:when compared with other riads this one had the most traditional morroccan flavor
Review 14:Location specially at late night time as it is in the middle of sale medina .. Some times are difficult to found parking.
Review 15:The staff are freindly.. I like the repose and will be my first choice next time .. Food are delicious, room very well orgnized and cleanless all are very nice and excellent
Review 16:The rooms are full of crafts and local art. Too full. It's hard to move around safely in the little bit of floor space. Our rooms had windows on the street and we could clearly hear voices. Fortunately Salé goes to bed early.
Review 17:The decision to stay in Salé at the start of our Moroccan tour was a good one. The medina is small and manageable, a good introduction before the craziness of Fes and Marrakech. The Repose is inside the walls and just down the street from a friendly hammam (bath house). The proprietor, Rachid, was helpful even before we arrived. He answered my e-mails promptly, and he took calls from me and from my son, helping us find each other after our arrival in different terminals. He can arrange transportation from wherever you arrive. And he's good at tracking down a lost cell phone. He made sure he found mine in a store I had visited before I got in the taxi. Tea was ready for us. We had ordered dinner and it was excellent. All of the five B&B's we visited were clean, but this one was spotless. The rooftop terrace is gorgeous and you must take breakfast there. Rachid had wonderful ideas for our explorations. I would definitely return here again.
Review 18:Jan was a great host, and so was the service we received. From themoment of our booking, she made sure we had ample information for ourtrip to Morocco, and her quick responses to our questions helped us feelcomfortable with our plans. The Repose is a venture of love for Jan& Rachid, and we got a chance to benefit from their warm andimpeccably cozy creation.Jan was very helpful in arranging rides to the and from the riad, and provided lots of ample information about the surrounding landmarks that we didn't even need a guide to have a good visit. The staff at the Repose were cordial, helpful and friendly. Everything worked here, and we were saddened to not have more time to spend in the Sale-Rabat area. We do look forward to returning to our beautiful room at this riad soon.
Review 19:- Price for lodging- price for dinner (20 euro/pp for a vegetarian meal) is far too high when compared within the prices in the rest of Maroc! - noisy (African room) - bed matress very hard although that is the fact in most Maroc locations
Review 20:-Design of the Riad -hospitality -clean -location for visiting Sale andRabat -distance to airport -breakfast
