Review 1：Bathroom shower does not drain well. Living room furniture uncomfortable.

Meals at hotel were poor in quality and value. lack of knowledge with currency exchange at outside bar. Indoor bar and restaurant not open at night. least relaxing vacation ever!!

Review 5：Breakfast was too expensive for such minimal selection. Also the construction work early in the morning was a bit annoying especially during jazz week. Staff took away towels in room and rarely replaced the required supply. If they're not on the floor and you have none to replace then don't take them.

Review 7：The only downfall is the Vendors on the beach, but that is expected since every beach on the island is public. But with the pool so close to the beach you can avoid the vendors from bothering you. First class service all the way!

Review 8：Everyone from this resort went above and beyond to make our honeymoon trip memorable! The location is subperb to any resort on the island. If you like to go and do and stay a luxurious resort with staff going out of there way to make you comfortable and your trip memorable then this is the resort! The amenities were perfect for us, the food was fabulous and fairly priced. We came during the offseason (Late April) so the attention and detail to our stay we received left us speechless. The staff was very friendly and helpful to make our trip perfect. Everything is conveniently located near this resort and is within walking distance. Review 9：The service was full of care and respect. The suite was spacious and quite romantic. Everyone went the extra mile to help us with all our idiosyncrasies.

Review 10：Vendors on the beach were overall friendly, but a nuisance as they were always around. The cruise boats deposit day trippers at each end of the beach and even though the Royal Beach is marked off, I didn't see a lot of security moving them along, vendors or day trippers.

Review 11：The hotel from the start is a great value. The location, cleanliness, and the desire to make you feel welcome is there the moment you get out of your cab. We were greeted by Franklyn with a warm greeting and then a rum punch as we checked in. The beach is prime, the rooms are close and it was a very relaxing time.

Review 12：the shower flooded the bedroom. It took ages for maintainace to sort it out. I was told not to use the jet spray (a feature of the shower!!) I was rreating my mother as it was her 80th. She could not leave the room until lunchtime such was the wait to get the room moped and made safe. No other rooms available transferred to the sister hotel which was worst. It took 3 hours to transfer over to a hotel 3 minutes away. Lunch was over by the time we got there. 5 hours of hanging around.

Review 13：rhe hotel was on the beach front. View was great, seeing the sun go down unbeatable and waking up to the sounds of the waves lapping along the shoreline. The staff were polite albeit very slow in their responses.

Review 18：The tariff. It's a bit overpriced. We had three technical problems with the bathroom, two of which were fixed fairly quickly, however reception could be a bit reluctant (in attitude) and we didn't phone in the last issue.

Review 19：Truly great, friendly and helpful bar staff who made us mean cocktails and gave great recommendations. Room covered in flowers on arrival. Located right on Reduit Beach, which is beautiful, but if we return we will look to stay somewhere further south, out of Reduit Beach/Rodney Bay resort-landia. We chose the Rex this time because we wanted a great beach and pool-bar and relaxation. It delivered on those counts. The pool attendants were also really friendly and helpful.

Review 20：I was not very impressed with Reduit beach. I could not understand why it was considered so beautiful or even long. It is longer than others on the island but not by far long by US standards, or some European and Mexican beaches. The anexes of the hotel are dated and ugly (for instance right on the beach, between the two Rex hotels some ugly low service buildings). Although a nice room, we considered the price extremely high. However, it was a lot better value for money than what we got at the Hummingbird in Soufriere, where the rooms were more like a 3rd class motel. Our room was beautiful and large but there were minor problems: the small refrigerator smelled bad (might be because it is inclosed in a cabinet with no ventilation behind it so it heats up); the door to the outside cannot be locked from the outside so although you could walk out straight to the garden and beach, you have to go out through the back and around. Because the window is the sliding door to the patio in the garden, you cannot sleep with the windows open on a beautiful warm night.

Review 21：We liked the proximity to the sea. There are very few hotels right on the Reduit beach and this seems to have the best beach. Some reviewers prefer the beach at the northern end but I did not like it being so close to a long wall that juts out into the sea, cutting your view. I thought the best stretch of the beach is the middle section belonging to the hotel. It has lounges and shading elements which are reserved for the hotel guests. The cruise crowds are restricted to the two extremities of the hotel beach so they did not bother us. If I went back to Reduit beach this is certainly the hotel I would choose. However, I would not want to go back there at all as there are better beaches and beach towns elsewhere. The hotel has a great chef so the food is good. The room itself (actually more of a suite) was big, comfortable and very modern but the surroundings of the hotel, the corridors were very dated. We did not interact much with the staff but we did like the fact that we met some people from the management and the chef at a little cocktail party organized by the manager outside. That was a nice touch. The garden in the center is very well kept.

Review 22：Checked in and found the king bed I booked was two twins pushed together. The tv did not work. Both issues were resolved that afternoon. I had the toilet paper holder, rob holder, shower soap dish were unsecured. The tub stopper was disconnected from the linkage. The hand shower leaked and did not work well.

Review 23：With the few items that did not work properly, I found the property to beautiful. Staff was great. I would recommend this location and plan to visit again.

Review 36：The bathroom in our room was not well design (room 2227) after you take shower it is always flooding all over. Housekeeping needs improvement you have to ask every day to restock used items and write it down for maid otherwise you don't get any.

Review 37：Location is wonderful right on the beautiful beach with spectacular views. Lots of great restaurants, bars and shopping right outside the hotel and close to Marina to catch boat and catamaran trips. The hotel is well design with beautifully decorated suites and grounds and pool. Staff is very friendly especially at the bar. Dining services are on island time takes while even if you are the only one in the restaurant but that's ok since we were enjoying the slow relax island vacation.

Review 38：Expect a Caribbean time style check in, mine took 30 mins but they did provide free rum punch ;) Private beach does not have table service so you have to get up and walk back into hotel grounds for drinks etc.

Review 39：The suites are amazing, I highly recommend them, they are like little apartments with fab bathrooms/wetroom. Gorgeous beach front, nice pool, good food and drinks. Staff are awesome.

Review 40：The service was disappointing. More often than not when we ordered food from the bar menu the kitchen would be out of it. We found this very frustrating. Also service was very slow!
