Review 1：VERY POOR value for money. Over the bath shower that you needed to hold above yourself as there was no place to hold it on the wall. No hot water on the morning that we left Constant noise of dogs barking during the night. Review 4：The location was superb - right on the edge of lake and the room was very elegantly furnished. The photos of the Hotel and it's location do not do it justice. The views were wonderful and it was brilliant to catch the ferry to Bellagio right outside the Hotel. There was also a friendly little local bar just along the road.

Review 17：To travel around though was a bit of a hassle as the village is not a regular stop on most ferries although when it does, it stops just steps from the Hotel! However, a combination of bus and ferry can get you around the hot spots of the lake.

Cold bacon and eggs at breakfast. Restaurant grossly over priced. €10 parking fee per day in hotels own off street car park unacceptable and also attitude of man at reception.

Review 27：Exquisite lake view. The property is right on the waterfront, and the ferry stops right at the hotel. Perfect peaceful lake experience in a very charming little village, walking distance to a number of very nice restaurants including the renowned Isola Comacina.

Review 32：The only reason I don't rate this hotel as a 9.5 or 10 is because the rooms don't have A.C. We were there in late July. The weather in Como is quite humid, and because of the way the rooms are built, the entire temperature and humidity gets captured inside the room making it very hard to sleep. Although I loved the property I would not stay here again during the summer season.

Review 58：The view from our balcony- stunning. The upgrade to room with view and balcony- thank you! Staff friendly and polite, great restaurant, fab breakfast- what's not to love? We shall return when we have more time to savour its delights. Who needs a shower on the wall( see other reviews) when you have such an amazing view? I could have sat on the balcony all day and night just watching the lake.

Review 73：The bath/shower leaked a lot of water onto the floor. It probably needs to be re-sealed. It would be good if there was a hook higher up on the wall to hold the shower hose in place otherwise you have to be careful as the shower screen isnt' long enough block splashes from shower.

Review 74：Beautiful location! This place is just located half way up the west side of the lake just south of Lenno. We were upgraded from the loft to one of the rooms with a small balcony as we arrived at the end of the season. There is a wine bar within walking distance that we tried and liked. We rented a car to get here but probably could have done with out it as there is a train from Milan that gets into the main town of Como and from there you can catch a bus for around $3euros to the hotel. THere is also a ferry pier right next to the property which had a sign that said the ferry stop will be serviced in 2015. I cannot get over the view of this place. You have a beautiful private villa next door and you also have the Isla Comacina (island) on the opposite side. I'm the type of person who cannot sit still and here at this hotel all I wanted to do was just stare at the beautiful view. I could not get enough! Breakfast room has amazing view as well and the staff were accommodating. They let us have breakfast out on the terrace in the fresh air which is even better!

Review 75：one minor issue was that the toilet kept running - one of the staff came up and showed me the trick to get it to stop and it worked fine - I am sure they have it fixed by now

Review 81：Very little... but.. How hard is it to put in a holder for the shower head so you can stand in the bath and have a shower! Some rooms have showers and no bath and ours had a bath with a hand held shower but they could have easily made it a proper shower over the bath.

Review 82：I loved this hotel. The location is superb. We had a top floor lake view bedroom with a small balcony. The room was very tasteful and pretty large. The view is amazing. We drove around a lot of lake como and honestly didn't see a view I would have preferred. I'm not sure why the main stock photo is taken in the fog! I almost cancelled this place as the photos didn't look great but I'm so glad that we didn't. Large free car park as well which is a bonus. Cant wait to go back.

Review 102：My room didn't have a shower although my kids room did (I think each room is different so travelers need to check fine details). Restaurant was overpriced for lunch service. With such a great view I was surprised that their were no lounge chairs available where one could relax and have a glass of wine and take it all in.
