Reviews for Ecoparco Neulè

Review 1:Minor downside is that there is no ventilation for the bathroom so things can get a bit damp in the rooms. Keeping the windows open helps with this though.

Review 2:Great base to explore the local area and do outdoor activities. A great mix of guests. The traditional meal (if they do one whilst you stay - it's not every night) is amazing! Great for animal lovers!

Review 3:We been to 5 different hotels in sardinia and the best time we had was in ecoparco Fell in love with the place the. second we came In. Beautiful place amazing surrounding and very nice and welcoming staff The place was so special that we decided to make a private wedding ceremony in one of many amazing spots overlooking the river Looking back we wouldnt1 mind giving up on all tje places we visited before in sardinia and spend all our vacation there

Review 4:No complaints. Would probably rent a car before coming next time though:)

Review 5:Absolutely stunning views. The photos on the website don't do the location justice. There are mountains everywhere you look, and a nearby river that flows right through them. Horseback riding, hiking, and kayaking are all offered here and are great ways to spend your days. The Saturday night meal was fantastic; and was a great way to try local food and meet interesting people. The owners were the perfect hosts, and offered to pick us up and drop us off in town as we were without a car. We had an amazing time here!!

Review 6:Fantastic place with stunning views. Lake overview from terrace, cozy rooms. But, we felt a lack of air conditioner... at night was very hot... Breakfast is perfect - local cheese, sausage, eggs were served. What is not very tipicat to Sardegna :) Very friendly personnel. Pierro recommended a restaurant for a dinner - we were happy to test local Sardinian food. we were impressed by honesty of host, when we received overpaid money in restaurant back. Thank You for the stay

Review 7:We had already spent a week by the sea in Cala Gonone so used this place as a base to explore Sardinia's interior. It was brilliant and a really great place if you are looking for a rustic simple experience. The location is superb, we stayed in the accommodation away from the main farmhouse. The rooms are nicely decorated and with an electric fan we weren't too hot at night despite temperatures in mid 30s whilst we were there. We used the outdoor kitchen a couple of times, there is a fridge you can store food in, that is also used by campers. Whilst we were there the owners cooked a traditional sardinian dinner for the guests which everyone ate together outside. I would really recommend it.

Review 8:The rooms are quite simple, bathroom has bad plumbing and stinks. We booked because of the high rating on booking.com. The location is great but the rooms are more like bungalows on a simple camping. The high rating seems too high, given the very basic standard we found.

Review 9:Very nice location near lake.

Review 10:For an eco park, the heavy use of plastic plates, trays and glasses for breakfast was unexpected. But perhaps it's recycled.

Review 11:Lovely setting, quiet, rustic. Wonderful hosts.

Review 12:Be advised, it's a little rough here for sophisticated, demanding travelers. Not like other hotels or B&B's we've been to. But fun for a couple of nights.

Review 13:This is a great place if you want to stay on a "ranch" setting. It's way off the main road, great view, lots of different animals, horseback riding, etc. Staff very nice. Met people from different parts of Europe. For city kids, a chance to experience.

Review 14:I didn't like the animal enclosures, I thought they were too small, couple of the animals looked ill, and one had a broken leg. Also a lot of faeces on the floor of the enclosure. No air-con in the rooms, hot! hot! hot!

Review 15:The location is stunning, quiet and with a breath-taking view of the river/lake. We did some walks and the views inland are gorgeous. I also liked the relaxed air of the travellers here, and we talked to a range of people who had many adventurous tales to tell.

Review 16:This place is located in the natural park. So you feel like you are in the real country house with history. Simple but cosy room, no air conditioning, but very authentic. It is for the ones who want to unite with nature as you can see and touch the domestic animals, very friendly. Ride horses and have a nice kayaking tour even not meeting a single soul except yourself. The staff is great. Special thanks to Monya!:) Very special breakfast with lake view! Great surroundings and famous beaches not far away. If you want to socialize or have a romantic evening you go to Cala Ganone with restaurants, street music, sandy beach.

Review 17:The location is stunning with mountain and lake panoramic views, back to nature but close to Dorgali town for food and shops and Cala Gonone for beaches, good base for hiking in the mountains. Breakfast is good with lots of choice laid out in the large communal eating and cooking area. You can order pizza for delivery up to 10pm, cook your own food or the hosts can organise traditional bbq food and drink for bigger groups, you can eat with groups with a bit of notice. We loved it, a peaceful base to explore the eastern coast and mountains.

Review 18:The manager and staff spoke little to no English and the one evening meal available was supposed to be served at 8pm. But we didn't eat until almost 10pm - too late for a family - this meant our family missed out on a lot of courses of what I imagine was nice food. It was unclear how you could book activities and what was available as staff seemed to drift in and out of the lodge at different times of the day. Our rooms were not serviced at all during a 4 day stay which is unusual for accom at this price point. NO drinking water, this could have been communicated earlier to guests so you could prepare. Basically its not enough to depend on the beauty of your location you have to also welcome guests and understand their needs.

Review 19:The location has one of the best views ever. You can kayak, horse ride and hike from the accom. Well stocked kitchen if you want to self cater.

Review 20:Sardinian dinner, lake and park, very nice people, ordering pizza until 10 PM, cooking own pasta in the kitchen, peaceful, quiet, middle in a marvellous nature! Simply perfect :)

Review 21:Leaving...

Review 22:Great place. Relaxing, so much to do (if you want to). Close to loads of interesting sites. Fun company. Nice rooms. Free wifi. Goats, horses, cats, dogs and chickens are the other guests. Seriously, stop looking at other places and just come here.

Review 23:The rooms are quite primitive. Sound isolation is absent so a lot of noise from the neighboiring rooms (even toilet-noises). The "eco" comprises the environment only. (No home-made products at breakfast,...) The owner does not speak english and therefore does not interact with the non-italian speaking guests, nor does he take the opportunity to personalize check-in or check-out.

Review 24:The surroundings are very beautiful. Possibility of canoing and horse-riding on site is a plus (requires paying additional fees)

Review 25:Excellent location with a view facing spectacular mountains. We spent two days in Neule' and I certainly recommend the place. The canoe trip worths a try for people who love nature. Just 15 minutes from Orosei. The hoste is friendly and available for any type of information.

Review 26:No good wifi No good breakfast Room Small No aircon No good english speak No atv or horseride as promise, was closed Need car for the beach

Review 27:Farm life Animals View Lake

Review 28:our room had a bad smell, maybe a dead animal somewhere? bathroom drain smelt terrible.

Review 29:Beautiful, scenery. Farm style stay.

Review 30:Fantastic location with amazing views and sunsets. Very friendly, good value for the money.

Review 31:lack of air conditioning, uncomfortable bed, average breakfast.

Review 32:Beautiful view, cenveniet location to organize 1 day trips

Review 33:Nothing

Review 34:View

Review 35:average breakfast

Review 36:great view over the lake quiet location

Review 37:Fantastic setting - perfect for hiking and a sun-down drink on the porch. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Review 38:The fantastic environment. Heartily persons Absolut fantastic dinner!! Thanks a lot

Review 39:So amazing that you can be slightly disappointed when you leave Ecoparco Neule and move to another place :)

Review 40:Amazing setting and very friendly staff. As soon as we arrived, Giampiero sat down with us, explaining the region and the property itself and offering nice glass of wine and cheese - we felt very welcomed and knew that we would have a great time there. Rooms are very clean and bright - some rooms on the front have access to the terrace with amazing views. You can also have an access to the huge and fully equipped communal kitchen, which gives you an opportunity to cook yourselves (this is very convenient because otherwise you have to drive to go to restaurants). They also run some activities - we did kayaking in the lake, which was a great fun. The whole property is massive and you can easily spend a day doing short walks around and enjoying the amazing scenary and silence.

Review 41:The Ecoparco Neule is a wonderful agriturismo/hotel located in a stunning, unspoilt, rural area of the Golfo di Orosei. From the main building you can only see the river and the mountains in the distance: amazing. Despite the rural location, you are only 15 minutes from Dorgali which is the main town in this area. There are some stunning beaches within 30 minutes (some of which are only accesible by boat from Cala Gonone) and when we visited in April some of these were almost deserted. There are also lots of walks with stunning views. You can rent out bikes and kayaks etc. The breakfast was wonderful: local meats and cheeses, a selection of italian pastries/biscuits, fruit etc. We used the kitchen to cook some freshly made pasta on one night and had pizza delivered the other night. Monia, who greeted us when we arrived, gave us some great recommendations for beaches and things to do. We stayed for two nights but if we go back to Sardinia we will stay for much longer! Highly recommended!

Review 42:Insects (to be expected really).

Review 43:Great location The animal and pets are great, never seen cats and dogs play fighting like that before. Amazing view of lake and sunset. Nice breakfast of homemade salami and cheese Wifi available (did not expect that - nice bonus)

Review 44:Many people mentioned bad road, but it should not be a repelling factor as we traveled with Smart and had no trouble driving to the place.

Review 45:Helpful and kind staff. One of the owners is speaking good English which was a big advantage for us. Owners were very hospitable and let us feel like home. Food was great and even though I am eating a lot it was really more than enough. I really recommend to try dinner as it is much more value for money than in restaurants.

Review 46:We were welcomed warmly and given an introduction to the area. The setting is just breathtaking, so quiet and unspoilt. They provide a truly authentic sardinian dining experience. The rooms were cool and the bathroom spotless.

Review 47:There were no negatives to this stay except for having to leave.

Review 48:Everything was more than we had ever expected. We especially like the hosts, the views, the facilities, the atmosphere, food, and activities.

Review 49:The location; it is the perfect place to relax, but it is also very close by car to beautiful beaches, hiking routes and picturesque villages. The views are amazing. Breakfast was really good and the possibility of cooking and barbecuing. The relaxed atmosphere.

Review 50:Long slightly off road drive.

Review 51:Our hosts were wonderful and the shared kitchen facilities were very well stocked and useful if you don't want to eat out every night.

Review 52:the road toward the terrain is bad. Information about cooking facilities could have been better. Air-co is wanted - very hot in the room and bathroom. Every night mosquito's

Review 53:Supper location and terrain, nice spot for a nice breakfast

Review 54:We were surprised to learn that it was self catering especially after negotiating the rough track to get there. Not exactly as advertised.

Review 55:Great location.

Review 56:Nothing. A very nice place to stay.

Review 57:The owners are very friendly. They give goods tips about the surroundings. The room is very clean, a little bit small, but you can use the livingroom and kitchen. Breakfast is included! Nice to walk to the laked, with a spaecial route the owner made. Sea is only 15 minutes by car.

Review 58:Nothing, really. The access road is not paved, but still reachable with a normal car (Yes, you do need a car). Also there is no wi-fi or TV on the room, but then again who goes to a lake in the woods to sit and watch TV.

Review 59:Everything about the place is fantastic. The location could not be better, the views are stunning and it's a great place to enjoy nature and quietness while being quite close by car from all the main points of interest of the area. If you prefer, there are also several options for activities right on the spot, including some horseriding. We very much enjoyed the atmosphere, and the owners were extremely warm and welcoming. Breakfast includes homemade cheese and salsiccia, and the possibility of using the kitchen was a bonus. Highly recommended.

Review 60:Location is perfect for relaxing. Very nice people managing the Ecoparco. The ricotta is amazing -;) Thanks, Samuele
